We decided to get ducts and dryer vent cleaned because the dryer was not working. We suspected a clog in the dryer vent. The company discovered that the vent hose had become disconnected where it ran above the ceiling. They used a fiber optic camera to show us the problem and warned us that using the dryer could cause a fire. We have since had the problem repaired by the landlord. We were grateful to Lowe's for letting us know of the problem. The job was done well. The workers arrived on time and finished the job within the stated time.

The technician,Dan, called to make us aware of his arrival time and actually came early. He explained to us what he was going to do and how it would all be accomplished. He was very neat , thorough and careful as he set up his equipment and then did a great job.We are satisfied with the thoroughness and quality of the work done especially he dryer ducts which was especially dirty.His attitude and demeaner were very pleasant and we are happy that we called Lowe's and got him as our tech.

Joe communicated well prior to arriving and was punctual.Upon his arrival he inspected the system and locations of the vents before starting. He was able to clear out the dust and even showed me all of the dust that was in both systems. Apart from the cleaning he was courteous enough to plug a couple of small gaps that were causing air leaks within the system. I would definitely recommend this company and it was a pleasure having Joe do the work.

The ducts were not very clean, as the area under the registers, in many cases, were still quite dirty.

The service was prompt and explained what they were going to do. They also pointed out and cleaned clogged laundry room vent problems we weren't aware of.

The tech was on time and did the job. Cleaning of the dryer vent was included with the service but the tech advised me the hoses were a fire hazard and needed to be replaced. I had him change the hoses but he had me write him a separate check for $16.00 payable to himself...not the company. This was a bit strange and his integrity is worth questioning. I would use a different company if I had to do it all over again.

It took a few days to be able to schedule the cleaning however once scheduled the technician was on time, courteous(took his shoes off going in and out of the house until i told him it wasn't necessary) and very informative. He came in told me exactly what had to be done and went about his business, the ducts in my house haven't been cleaned in a while and this was necessary, the technician also told me how long I SHOULD actually wait to do it again instead of "suggested." Overall i was very pleased I purchased this deal and would recommend it to anyone looking to get ducts/vents cleaned.

Arrived when scheduled. Performed maintenance in professional and efficient manner. Update: Recently had a new duct installed in the home. The HVAC technician said there was debris in the ducts, which indicates that cleaning was not thorough.

Joe was very professional and called me in advance before he came over. He was on time at 8 AM in the morning on the scheduled day and explained me in brief what he was going to do. He was patient with my questions (thought he had no details on few questions of mine - but again I understand he is a duct cleaning expert and not an HVAC expert). He attached the portable negative pressure machine to my duct and then started from my top floor to clean air vents by making his way till my first floor. He was around 2.5 hours in my house from start to end. Joe also ensured he removed his shoes outside which I appreciate (though I would have expected Lowe's to provide their technician with boot covers for their convenience) Overall I was happy with his service and would have loved to give "A" rating, had not been below observations 1) I would have expected him to clean my air vents register cover in some sanitized solution to clean them thoroughly rather than doing mostly with hand and sometime with vacuum cleaner. But again am not an expert so maybe this is the way its always done. But please note that he did clean the inside of air vents with proper procedure so that's not a concern 2) I would have expected him to vacuum the area around air vents more thoroughly than what was done 3) In demo videos I saw beforehand they show the technician cover the vents with some blue plastic before attaching/starting negative pressure machine. Though I saw Joe carried the blue plastic role, I did not see him use that. Again am not an expert so don't know the procedure to be followed 4) I would expect technician to wear mask over their face for their health safety But overall I was happy with their work and may hire again if I want too. I found Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning on Angie's List and after reading the reviews of other customers gave them a call. The price of $249.00 was far below any other company I researched and the representative I spoke with on the phone did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we scheduled an appointment to have the work done. The technician (Joe) called ahead of time to let us know he was on the way. He actually arrived 10 mins earlier than our appointment was scheduled (which impressed me). Joe explained the process he would be using when cleaning the ducts and then got right to work. He estimated it would take between 2.5 and 3 hours to complete the work. Joe finished everything in 3 hours and showed me how much debris and dust had been collected from the vents. He vacuumed the area around the furnace and the existing air filter so that it would be usable until we can replace it. I was very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and quality of work from Joe and the Lowe's Company. I will not hesitate to call them again, and I recommend them highly to others who need to have their home air ducts cleaned.

He came to do the cleaning and did not have a tarp. I asked him about this and he stated that they do not use a tarp. I think that was surprising. There was a black, soot like powder all over my house afterwards. I picked it up with a wet paper towel and showed him the soot and he said that this wasn't from him, even though I just cleaned the floor yesterday. He said that my vents were not that dirt and my fireplace has not been used in a year. I'm assuming that the soot came from this blue vacuum that he was used as it was mostly only where he used it. I don't know if this came from the vents or his shoes or equipment. I asked him about this as I have animals in my house, but he said that he cleaned up after himself. He said he needed me to sign this as I was still trying to talk to him about this. He said this was just for the Angie's List deal, but after that he just left, not letting me finish. I had to clean all of this off of my floors. I feel that a tarp should have been used and that he should have put something on his shoes. My windows were also open as he had the heat on. The lint from the dryer vent went into my yard and also in my window screens. My friend and I had to clean all of this off of my lawn.

Surge was great! He called with advance notice of when he would arrive within the 3-5pm window. He did a fast, clean job. I was included in learning about what he was doing and why...and why past cleaning had not been successful. Will definitely use lowes again.

If you want to have air duct cleaning for your house. Then, read this comment. The technician Joe showed on time and took off his shoes to walk around the house. I gave him credit for it. At the end of the service, he showed me the filter with a lot of dust. I was impressed and I was happy about it. My house has a clean air now. Today, I had time to check their work. I was very DISAPPOINTED. My main air duct still remain dirty and same like before the service. I was afraid to have a scam service like other air duct providers out there by paying low service $75 to 150 dollars. I actually paid $299 for this service and i was expected it would be a good service . I was wrong. This provider provided the same service like the other cheap companies out there. I read a lot of comment and watch a lot of video about how air duct cleaning scam happened. DID EVERYONE EVER CHECK THEIR WORK? This Joe just cut out the hold in my main duct and tape it back. he made me think he did clean it. I attached few pictures that I took today after they cleaned 2 days ago and want to share with everyone and be careful to check their work after they cleaned your house.

I had to change my appointment multiple times and the company showed no hesitation or impatient with fulfilling my requests. When I finally was able to commit to a date, the tech came right on time and did a thorough job with cleaning all vents. He showed me the results of his work, yuck! I recently bought this house and it appeared that the vents hadn't been cleaned in years. One thing I wasn't aware of was the size and weight of the equipment necessary to complete the job. The large filter and vacuum was placed in my basement, but on the way there did some damage to my floor transition strip in the foyer. I didn't notice until after tech was gone, but I wouldn't be able to prove this damage didn't exist before, so I never took it up with the company. Word to the wise: cover your floors if you're concerned about damage.

The contractor showed up on time. After discovering that the main heating system was essentially clean, he recommended that I not clean the second floor furnace, as it wasn't necessary. I appreciated his honesty.

We have two HVAC units, so he had to charge double what we were quoted. Took about 4 hours for whole house which hadn't been done in over twenty years. Service man was professional and cleaned up as he went along.
