Ruben contacted me the same night I left him a message via Angies List. He sent someone named Mickey who provided the estimate, after showing me the options. Today two great guys showed up, and finished in no time. They were nice, got straight to work and was done before I returned from grocery shopping. This is definitely a qualitative company. I did get a cheaper quote from someone else, but already committed to Colony, but the quick response, and quality work was worth it.

I called Colony Fence and they quickly returned my call and we set up an appointment. They came on time and patiently explained the necessary work to be done and sent me an estimate. I accepted their offer, which was very competitive, and Mr. Colonia came to see my property and and gave very helpful suggestions. He provided green polycoated posts,green chain link and green permahedge slats. All of these were color coordinated with the grass and bushes I have growing in the garden. The three man work crew came ahead of the scheduled date and did the work and would have completed it in one day were it not for the thunderstorm that occurred at the end of the day. They completed the work in a couple of hours the following day. They were very professional, polite and careful not to damage any of the grass or shrubs growing in the garden. I am sorry I did not have the fence built earlier because it has greatly enhanced the appearance of my house and provided us with a beautiful private garden in the back of the house. I have already recommended Colony Fence to several of my friends and neighbors.

Ruben was very professional and punctual. He said job would be done in two days and it was. His crew came early and left late. There was a mix up with install date and Ruben added some extras at no extra cost. Thank you.

We needed a fence built in two areas of our property quickly as it was a safety hazard and we were having a party for our son. Colony came, discussed options, and did the work within a week. I will definitely be calling Colony in the future. Ruben was awesome to work with.

Called twice to try to set up an appointment. Never called back. I would never do business with anyone who does not have the courtesy to return a phone call. Just imagine if you start a project with them, have a problem, and you can not reach the contractor. Just think about the headache you would have to go through. The potential headache does not worth any amount of money in my book.

Ruben installed a 6 foot chain link around my backyard. Its been 4 years and the fence is in excellent condition. He took extra care and was very responsive to my needs including putting in extra cement etc and using the highest quality materials to ensure the fence lasts for a very long time. I would really recommend Ruben as his price was very reasonable and the quality was of the highest order. Overall super happy customer even after 4 years.

Ruben and his workers were always punctual. Communications, mostly through email, went very well (except for one email that ended up in my spam box). Ruben gave us an estimate based on a basic design. We decided to go with a more expensive design; the labor costs remained the same. Due to a quirk in the shape of our backyard, the workers had to come back a few days later to cut down a panel that would not fit. It now looks perfect. No extra cost to us.

Had an appointment scheduled for the morning of March 23rd, to which Colony Fence never showed. No call or attempt at contact. Good thing I had another fence company coming later in the day, and went with them instead.

These guys were great. second time I used them, first was in 2011. beat all quotes and do a high quality, thorough job and cleanup. Ruben is the man, got me just what I needed (twice) and made it easy.

All went very smoothly with Colony Fence. Ruben contacted us soon after sending them a message via Angie's List. The day of the appointment he was prompt and very professional. We discussed our needs, measured the area being gated, and we had a quote within days. The proposal had various options as we requested. It made it a bit confusing, but he answered all the questions we had. The price seemed a tad expensive, but about average with another quote received. We have decided to postpone this project, but the day we do decide to move ahead, Colony Fence will be considered.

They did a great job. They made sure to clean up everything before they left.

They came when they said when they were coming, and did such a wonderful job! They were so nice, and never made me feel uncomfortable when I let them know what I wanted.

Great! Would give an A+. Responded within an hour of our inquiry, and came the same day to discuss what we wanted and do measurements. Provided detailed written estimate within 5 days, and ordered materials the same day we hired them. Great communication--let us know when materials would arrive and when job would be done. Prompt and professional--did a great job. We couldn't be more pleased. We contacted 3 other providers for estimates--one did not respond, one did not show, rescheduled, then did not show and did not respond to phone or emails through Angie's List. The 3rd did an estimate via email, and it was $200 more than Colony's price.

Excellent. The provider responded promptly to my request for a bid. They moved the permit process forward after I initiated it. They did a great job of installation on a rather uneven backyard. Excellent work - would highly recommend.

AWESOME job by Ruben and his crew. First, from the outset, Ruben was incredibly courteous, listened to what I wanted, and was realistic and pragmatic about what could be accomplished given what we were working with. We just bought an old house, with an old fence, and my husband and I wanted to make it safe, by either repairing or replacing, but also wanted to make sure we were making an economical decision. Ruben gave it to us straight -- portions of the fence were not salvageable, given their condition. But then again, another part could be shored up and strengthened, at a fraction of the cost to replace! So we ended up having Colony Fence replace two portions of fence, and repair a third. They did an INCREDIBLE job. The crew of five worked quickly and cleanly, they were very courteous to me and my neighbor (who of course was curious as to what was going on) and I couldn't be happier with both the new fence and the repaired portion of the old fence. The yard was also spotless when they left. I would definitely use them again, and will trust Ruben to advise on the best options for us at that time. Thank you for your excellent work!!!

Deserving of an A rating and the service award.

Ruben was very professional and responsive. He knew his business well and guided us in the right direction. He handled us (tough customers) very well and with professionalism. He tolerated our indecisiveness and helped us come to a decision. He did a great job and was true to his word on what he would deliver. We are happy with the fence. I will call him again next time we need a fence and recommend him to others.

The crew was excellent. They were punctual, professional, did an absolute wonderful installation and readily accommodated any and all small detailed changes that we requested.

This guy is amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He explained everything to us. He started job early because material was in early. His price was exactly what he quoted. He guarantees his work for two years. If you ever need a fence, you should go to him. He is a third of the price of other fence companies. He did all the work in 1 1/2 days. There was three people who came out to do the work. I would tell a friend or family member to just do it, hire him, you won't find a better person to do this work. There was nothing I didn't like.

They had to completely re-do a pool fence and also had to create pool equipment doors and install concrete bases for a pavillion. The work was excellent quality, done fast, and at a fair price. Ruben Colonia was great to work with. He showed up on time, responded to emails, text and phone calls immediately and was incredibly flexible given the constantly changing weather and other parts of the landscaping project that complicated things and shifted his own schedule. I would absolutely use them again.

Great job and very satisfied. Colony provided estimate in 2013 - we waited a year to do the job and they stuck to the price. Even did more than agreed to on one of the repairs. Staff was very friendly and informed. Workers were friendly, clean and worked very quickly.

Called them last week to find out if they could put up a retaking wall with railroad ties. Never returned my call. Don't understand how they possibly could achieve super service award status, I called them 2 years ago to replace part of a wooden fence. They never responded. I should have learned the first time.

The entire process -- from estimate to install -- went according to plan. While the estimate was higher than I had anticipated, I later realized I was underestimating the cost of installing a fence of that size. After a few more estimates from other local companies, Colony Fence came in at the best price and provided a more professional job. For example, other companies wanted to only concrete the corner posts in for the deer fence, stating that corners concreted in provided enough strength for the 100+ foot runs (single side). Colony made sure to concrete in EVERY post for added strength -- and the finished result is a perfectly straight, plumb fence that doesn't show any signs of sagging even after the last brutal winter. They also put in four gates -- two on the vinyl picket front fence (one double width) and two in the deer fencing out back (one double width). Overall a great experience and a great job.

Very freindly and responsive. Fence arrived with wrong shape, but workers corrected it onsite and it looks great.

This is the second time I've used Colony Fence, and both times were a pleasure. Rubin sent out an estimator who gave me a price right on the spot, I agreed, gave him a deposit, and two weeks later I got a call that the material was in. Three days later Rubin's crew was here, three days later they were done. His crew was professional, polite, and worked quickly and accurately. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for fencing. Period.
