Bowerman Cleaning and Restoration is owned and operated by Michael Bowerman. After earning his MBA from Iona College, his vision of expanding the business his father started over 45 years ago became a reality. Bowerman Cleaning and Restoration started as a carpet and upholstery cleaning business and grew into a full service, disaster restoration company that specializes in fire, water, mold and all other weather-related damages. We only use the most modern, state-of-the-art equipment and our technicians are experts in their field. Whenever possible we use eco-friendly products and we always utilize cost effective solutions. At Bowerman Cleaning and Restoration we believe in maintaining our core business values: Customer Satisfaction, Quality Work, and Integrity, all while getting your home or business back to per-loss condition. Great job from start to finish! I was happy with the quality of the work (new Sheetrock, paint job, baseboard molding, carpet cleaning) and great care was taken to replace all the furniture, drapes and art work to restore the room to the way it was. The only complaint is that where the carpet pad was cut out and replaced by new padding, there are lumps and valleys that can be felt when one is walking across the wall to wall carpeting. Post script: I was promised that someone would come to repair the uneven padding under the carpeting. Then they denied ever promising that when it had been promised to my face. The bumps, lumps and divots under the wall to wall are quite bad and I’m very disappointed that the company would lie to me.

Description of Work: Cleaned my carpets and rugs, window treatments, and dining room chair upholstery. On time. Very respectful. Wore shoe coverings. Had spoken to the owner in advance; sent him photos so he was able to give me an accurate estimate. Area rugs and some window treatments were removed and taken to their store for cleaning. Returned items promptly. Reinstalled window treatments correctly. There was a bit of yellow staining on my white carpet near the moldings after their first visit - they returned promptly and the carpet was in perfect condition afterward.

Description of Work: They did a complete mold remediation of the lower level of my church. They gave us a very detailed proposal, with all costs broken out by room. They also honestly explained what we were getting for our money, and what more might need to be done. They set the dates for the work at our convenience and came when scheduled. They did for free a small hallway and two bathrooms that were not even included in the proposal. And they advised us on what type of new dehumidifier to purchase. We are very satisfied with their good work, helpfulness and honesty.

Description of Work: Michael Bowerman has cleaned my carpets numerous times over the years. He is prompt,professional and completely reliable. While his prices are slightly higher than the large companies, it is definitely worth the difference. The carpets are thoroughly cleaned, no spots resurfacing soon after the service.
