 + -1 moreLPG Services was among the service providers we were meeting with for potential work. Since their service description stated carpentry jobs, in addition to gutters, we were interested to show them 3 separate jobs. They called back quickly to set up an appointment and was polite and professional. However, they did not show up for the appointed time and did not call with an explanation, nor did they return my call.I called again about two weeks later, as a way of closing the loop and wanted to assume the missed appointment was not common practice for them. He answered and apologized explaining he had been dealing with a family emergency. We set up an appointment. He arrived and was very courteous but had no tools for measuring or way of taking notes. He said he would provide a proposal but we never heard from him again. It's unfortunate because it resulted in a waste of time and a damaged reputation.
Description of Work: Never offered a proposal. Did not provide any services.

 + -1 moreMartin called the rainy morning of scheduled work to confirm because he said that some customers prefer to reschedule if there is rain. I was fine with the rain so he and two colleagues came as planned. This considerate call set the tone of professional work to come. The crew of 3 cleaned 9 large window panels (135 window panes) in addition to the screens in under an hour. They wore booties over their shoes and were very neat. Equipment was minimal because it is customized to individual jobs. The windows were amazingly clean after 2 years of accumulated urban dirt. The crew was courteous, responsive to my queries, very friendly and collegial. After trying several other window cleaners, I have found a keeper. LPG pricing is competitive.

 + -1 moreWe have several tall trees on our property, so the gutters get clogged more frequently than usual. I called Martin for an estimate. he said he'd come by the house the next day. If I wasn't able to be home he'd call me with the estimate and if I wanted he could do the job immeditaely if I wanted him to. As it turned out I was home when he arrived. He assessed things quickly and gave me a reasonable cost for the job, to which I'd agreed.I'd let Martin know that a previous company had tread haveily on my roof duing a previous cleaning, and he promised to tread more lightly, which he did. His crew worked efficiently, and Martin even repaired a loose connection. They scooped out all of the gutters, flushed out all the downspouts, cleaned up afterwards and took the refuse with them when they left.I was very pleased and will absolutely call on them again to clean our gutters and will probably use them for some of the other services they provide.

 + -1 moreI found LPG Services on Angie's list. After reading the reviews almost endless amount of AAA+++ reviews on Angie's List. I called the posted number and Martin answered.the phone. I explained that I wanted an estimate to clean my gutters. He was in the area and came over in less than 10 minutes. After walking around the house he gave me a great estimate that was comparable to what he charged another Angie's List member who also had his gutters cleaned. Two days later, after the rain had stopped, Martin returned as promised at 9 AM sharp with a crew of three. They were all soooo nice and VERY polite. The crew cleaned all of the gutters in an hour and a half, and even sprayed the gutters with ammonia. I supplied the spray bottles and bleach. One of the side portion of a gutter was eaten away by what we think was a squirrel, and one of the gutter bulbs had passed its useful life. Martin drove to Home Depot for the replacement parts and in moments the repairs were done. The entire job took about an hour and a half and there was a substantial amount of gunk in the gutters. Yuch. The crew had buckets with them and all of the debris went into the buckets, not on the ground, leaving a very clean work area. At the end of the job all gutters were cleaned and I am very pleased with the service they provided. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants prompt, stress free, and efficient service.They were wonderful and I plan to call them back in the fall, after the leaves fall to clean the gutters before the winter snow arrives.You cannot go wrong hiring these guys.

 + -1 moreEverything was done to my satisfaction. He and his workers were very neat. Would definitely recommend his services to friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Made an appointment with Martin Espejo for an esimate. He was prompt. Gave me a verbal and written estimate to power wash the entire house and deck. He also included power washing the unilock brick patio. He warned me that the sand between the bricks would need to be replaced once he power washed the patio. He would need to charge me $35/hr. labor plus material. I considered this a fair price. He power washed the house, deck and patio on Thursday and returned on Friday to sweep sand between the bricks.

 + -1 moreMartin is extremely professional with a desire to understand the customer's needs. He and his crew are very polite and extremely neat as they work, making sure to keep the foundation plantings below the gutters completely free of debris. They took care when placing the ladders against the gutters thus avoiding any damage. Once all the leaves were removed, a hose was used to wash away any remaining residue. The crew left my property as neat as when they arrived, which was greatly appreciated. This company aims to please. I would not hesitate to recommend Martin's company, and plan to use them again.

When I first reached out to Martin on a weekend, he picked up the phone, which surprise me as it was a weekend - but which showed Martin's dedication to his job. Martin quickly came and gave an estimate, and his quoted price was very fair. He was able to squeeze us in very quickly, and he and his team worked very hard to clean windows that had not been cleaned in years and pathways that were filled with dirt and green algae. The work was excellent, and the team payed close attention to detail and operated in a very clean and responsible matter. We have always had good experiences with Angie's List, but for the quality and price, Martin was near the top. No wonder he wins the Super Service Award. He also gave me a quote for cleaning my gutters, which is much less than I am paying now, and I am going to use him and his company going forward for the gutters. I know they will do a great job.

 + 2 moreI expected to be unnerved by the upheaval of tackling the entire house all at once, but Martin and his crew made the experience as peaceful as possible. Dare I say, even joyful!
Description of Work: I cannot say enough good things about Martin and his crew. This is the third time I have used his services and I will utilize LPG for all of my household needs from now on. We have used LPG in the past for pressure washing, window washing and gutter cleaning. I didn't realize that Martin also provides interior and exterior house painting, along with carpentry and repairs. Once I spoke with him about our needs, he came and looked over the job, made measurements and clearly wanted to know what WE wanted. We decided to do the interior painting now and save the exterior for the warmer weather. Martin and his wonderful crew started on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 and finished today Friday February 17, 2012. I am SO incredibly happy with their work. Our house looks just beautiful and is spanking clean! The men were so careful with all of our belongings, ensuring that everything was covered in plastic, that drop cloths were everywhere and the the floors were covered in construction paper. Their prep work was unbelievable. The work on our living room ceiling which had mildew from a leaky roof (now replaced!) was painstaking. LPG prepped, primed and painted our entire house working systematically from top to bottom. They waited until my husband and I went out of town for two days to do our bathroom and bedroom while we were gone. Once a room was finished, they returned all furniture to its original place and re-hung artwork. They were neat and tidy and a joy to have in my home. Each evening, they cleaned up and put all equipment in the garage and were at the front door at 8 AM each morning. They finished all painting last night and today Martin came to inspect the work and provide any touch ups necessary. He also brought a crew to steam clean all the carpets of any paint/plaster dust.. Martin himself went around the house with a duster checking all of our furniture and paintings. Amazing. I totally TRUST Martin, LPG and his crews. Can't wait to get the exterior and carpentry done in April! Thank you LPG!!!!

 + -1 moreMy husband saw Angie's list and called LPG. They were supposed to come that afternoon, but they came the following morning, which was no problem with us this time as we were home anyway. Martin came with the equipment and quickly gave me the quote. After he finished all, he explained that our gutters were clogged and our roof was full of leaves. He even identified a possible problem with a roof that we were not aware of.

 + -1 moreMy experience with Martin and his crew was wonderful. I selected this company because of their A rating on Angie's List. I was so happy I did. Martin answered the phone immediately. I didn't need to leave a message as is usually the case when calling service companies these days. I told him what I needed done and he said he'd come out to look at the house this week. I had given him my cell phone number and that very day, while I was out shopping, he called to tell me he was at my house. He gave me an estimate on the phone that we agreed on and he said that he had the time to do the job now. When I got home the men were still hard at work cleaning and flushing our gutters. They did an excellent job. Our house is nestled in among many mature trees. There were a lot of leaves to remove and, being a tutor, the house has some gutters that are very high up and often hard to get to. They had no problem at all. They were respectful and extremely professional. I asked Martin about power washing our stone patio in the spring and he gave me an extremely fair estimate for that job. I will be calling him back many times in the future. Thank you Martin and thank you Angies List for this wonderful experience.
