They are amazing! Very quick, professional, and always get back to me. They work miracles with older air conditioning and heating units. Very nice people and their prices are reasonable as well. They can fix virtually anything.

They are very good. They came out to fix it last year and did a tune up in the spring that we didn't pay for. It's a contracted service. The technician was very knowledgeable and very communicative. They got here when they said they were and when he was late he called, apologized and let me know where he was and how long it would be.
Description of Work: Air Rite fixed a problem with our heating system.

I stopped payment on a check for $900 that I sent to Air Rite because they did not install the unit correctly and were unavailable to come out and fix the problem. After the owner became aware of this he started verbally harassing and threatening both myself and my tenants with bodily harm, court action and overall lewd and verbally abusive language. We both had to file police reports to stop his harassment. As an example, today he started calling at 5:30am PST and has called a total of 9 times. He threatened to remove the air conditioning unit and or damage it so as it could not be used. I would strongly recommend that you consider this review before hiring this company to do any work for you.
Description of Work: Air Rite was hired by my home warranty company to replace a condensor unit that was not working properly. The house had not had air conditioning for several days and the tenants whom lived in the house were desperate for some relief. Air Rite arranged to purchase and install the new unit as well as clean the other condensers on the property. After they completed the installation, the air conditioning worked for about an hour and then quit. Air Rite did not return any of the urgent phone calls from myself or my tenants to return and fix the unit. Because of this, we had to hire another company to come in and fix the unit and finish the installation. This cost me another $1200.00 above and beyond the money that was already payed to Air Rite.

The owner of this company is a female and therefore, the person with whom this customer spoke was not the owner. And as the owner, I have no knowledge of any such phone calls or harassment and have never, as the owner, received a copy of any police report signifying same. This customer unfortunately stopped payment on a check for which services were rendered. Being a home warranty customer, had the system malfunctioned and the original installer was not available to service immediately, the customer simply could have called his warranty company to assign a different contractor to come to his home within the time period that he demanded. That was his right and his protection as a home warranty customer and they would have complied. Hence, the word warranty. It is an assurance that your problems will be addressed in a timely manner. As a subcontractor for the warranty, we stand by our work. We are also afforded the privilege of setting a schedule according to our work load and if we are unable to address a customer's needs, the warranty company will do so in our stead. It is never our attention to neglect our customers and we hold customer satisfaction in the highest regard. This was an unfortunate situation that regrettably has found a home on the Internet to tarnish our reputation. As the company owner, I assure any potential customers that the experience described here by his customer is absolutely not indicative of our quality brand of service and craftsmanship. This is evidenced by our most recent review with an overall grade of "A" which is also on our business profile.
