Description of Work: They were amazing! They moved a baby grand piano for me and did a fantastic job. They had to go up a flight of stairs and around a tight corner which was quite a challenge; we didn't know if they were going to be able to make it but sure enough they got the job done. Everyone was extremely professional, courteous and polite - I would certainly use them again and would recommend them in a heartbeat. I really can't thank them enough!

We are very sorry this member had an unpleasant moving experience in March. But even though this move happened more than six months ago, it wasn't with our firm. We have checked our records for the date in question, and (unless this customer used another name and address for the move) we did not move her. Description of Work: While we did not ultimately use Jimmy or his team, he was willing to and did in fact change his schedule around to accommodate my emergency need (found out the day before my move that the scheduled mover provided fraudulent insurance documentation). Jimmy was willing to help us in a jam and was passionate about finding out and putting a complaint in against the originally scheduled movers with the DOT. We appreciated the willingness to help us and would recommend Jimmy to others.

Description of Work: They provided a check off sheet for items in the home for our move to PA from NY. They also agreed to drop off a dining room set to the Bronx. They quoted one price, but then when a couple of items I left out were added, the price jumped considerably. They were also a little difficult to reach to discuss the details of the forms. We changed to another moving company with a much better price, who actually came to our home to evaluate the cost & provided us with a fair & final price, as well as many boxes for packing.

It’s too bad that this person has nothing better to do than wait 18 months to leave a negative review. We’re guessing the experience wasn’t all that terrible if it took that long to think about writing here. Nonetheless, we give quotes based on the inventory form on our web site. It’s as thorough as we can make it, and we add items regularly. We expect that the items included on the form are the items that need to be moved, and we price the jobs accordingly. When this person added “a couple” of items, we could no longer use the truck we had planned to use and had to go to a larger truck. Of course the price increased. There is room at the bottom of the form to tell us that there are some items you’re not sure about, or can’t find a place to list them. That’s what the comments section is for. Perhaps most important is that we are located in New York, not in Pennsylvania, where this person's move was starting. For us to drive 2 or 3 hours to give an estimate is not cost-effective, which is why the moving form is so important. This customer needed to call a mover local to her in the first place. Again, please note that those customers who use our services usually leave us straight As. It’s only those people who make demands we can't fulfill who leave us failing marks.

We are very sorry that we cannot accommodate every person’s particular schedule. During the summer months, everyone wants to move. Our services are available (just like every other mover) on a first-come, first-served basis. Just because we could not service this client on a particular date, or because she didn’t care for our pricing, is no reason to be rude. If we were rude to our potential clients, we wouldn’t have any clients. We returned this person's call immediately, and explained we could not accommodate the date she requested. We offered an evening appointment, which we can do in emergencies (and after a full day working on other jobs). Those appointments are understandably more expensive, and that did not sit well with this person. Again, please note that those customers who use our services usually leave us straight As. It’s only those people who make demands we can't fulfill who leave us failing marks.

This customer is one one the most ignorant, racist cusomers ive ever dealt with, from the time she originally called me to this riduculous review, she questioned everything about my company from the type and race or workers that we use, insurnace, licensing ect. which is all listed with our 380 plus excellent reviews on Angies List Myself the owner had my best crew which i do on many occasions take the inventory for the quote as i had another appointment at the same time, they get to the door and she asked them for identification, when i called her and said they were on the way, not only that it was very apparent it was us as ou names and logo of the company are planted on the front of our sweatshirts and jackets, it was a total waste of my mens time and mine as she wasnt even ready for an estimate as after she gave the inventory she says that she was trying to sell much of the furnature, thats real smart, try selling the furnature first then call the mover out for the estimate or have your husband do it because you dont have a clue, lady your just as bad as the lazy americans who dont want to work, your insults offend me and my great spanish workers

Excellent!
Description of Work: We have used Jimmy and his crew twice now. They surpassed expectations the first time, and recently I asked them to move my (slightly nervous parents) and they made them feel comfortable throughout the entire move. Jimmy (owner) is highly responsive, and they are the rare breed who take over as professionals and makes a move easier (less stress during a move is good!). Strongly recommend.
