After some changes and adjustments, my friend who completed the move at his house was very happy. He thought the workers were very careful and responsible. Excellent job. He would highly recommend this company.

I orginally set up an appointment for free estimate only. At that appointment they said they could do it now. The price was good, so I agreed. Glad I did. Professional, good follow up. Never felt they were pulling anything over on me. Answered my questions and made sure we both understood what was to go and what was to stay. Great hard working crew. Knew exactly what to do and just did it with little or no guidance. Sorted and piled things up on driveway and lawn. No damage or pieces left from those piles. When they left there was no trace they or the piles were ever there, just a nice cleaned out garage. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Over the years I have had experience hiring various movers in different parts of the country. I have never had such a great experience. The price was fair (and competitive as I received three estimates) and the workers were timely and courteous. The owner (who remained personally involved throughout the day) went above the call of duty from providing me with moving blankets and clean used boxes (free of charge), to making sure that all items were placed correctly and undamaged at their destination. It's rare to find a business so dedicated to making its customers happy. And, from past moves, I feel its unheard of in the moving industry where past bad experiences taught me to read the fine print and to expect the worst. The owner's dedication and professionalism are unmatched. Truly an experience almost too good to be true!

I had scheduled the company to do my move after reading their reviews on Angie's list and speaking with other companies. Due to changing circumstances I had to unexpectedly move 2 weeks early and called Jimmy on Saturday morning around 10am. I never thought that I would get a mover at the last minute on a Saturday. Fortunately Jimmy picked his phone right up and said he would be able to get 6 guys over to my place in a few hours after they finished their current job. Jimmy called me about 2 hours before they arrived (they got to my house at 2:30) so we could be prepared and when his team arrived they went right to work. Even though he was going to originally use 4 guys for my move, he had the 6 guys available and sent them so they could get the job done faster. They took meticulous care with our furniture and antiques and did not scratch a wall or damage a single piece of furniture. Everything was wrapped in plastic for extra protection. This is particularly amazing because there are so many stairs and tight turns in my home. Even more surprising was that they got the whole move done in just a few hours. Jimmy's men worked hard and were a real pleasure. I still have to move in a few weeks and will be using them again and recommending them to anyone who needs a mover.

It was a really mixed experience for me. The workers that performed the actual move were great - they worked hard and fast, were careful, and very professional. The problem with the move was entirely in dealing with the owner. I hired A Man with a Van after shopping around a bit and reading reviews that said that he was worth the extra cost (he came in a little over other quotes i had gotten) Plus, he agreed to throw in free boxes (but failed to mention that i would have to drive 60 miles to pick them up) I was looking for someone to move me, but also to pack my kitchen up. Jimmy told me that the best way to do this would be to have his guys come a day early to pack the kitchen, and then come the next day to do the actual moving. He assured me that this was the "only way to do it" and that anyone who told me that they could do it all in one day was not to be trusted. So, the night before he was supposed to come pack the kitchen Jimmy called to tell me that he wasn't going to come the next day and would instead do it all in one day (the very thing he had warned me against). He claimed that this was because he was tired from a move the previous day, and that there was going to be too much traffic. Neither excuse seemed that good to me, especially since i had already taken the day off from work to meet the movers. The morning of the actual move, Jimmy called again, this time to tell me that he had gotten stuck somewhere near my apartment, but couldn't figure out how to get to my apartment. (This was because of road construction) I tried to give him simple directions around the detour, but he demanded that I get in my car and come find him so that he could follow me back to my apartment. He sounded exasperated, as though i was wasting his time by trying to give directions. The move went ok from there - but it was certainly much more hectic than it would have been had they packed the day before. When the time came for payment Jimmy tried to collect all in cash, claiming that he had "definitely told me" that he didn't take checks or credit cards. I'm sure i would have remembered hearing that i had to come up with that much cash. So in sum, i would say that the actual move was fine, but i would not recommend the company, It was not worth dealing with the owner.

Jimmy was responsive, polite, and completely honest. I had a few more boxes than I expected and there were no complaints or extra fees. Jimmy and his men had my wife and I moved in to our new home in a matter of hours! In this day of so many fly by night vendors, it is always worth the extra money to hire professionals like Jimmy and his crew. Great service, reasonable price!

Excellent service and reasonably priced. The men were very professional and accomodating. Items were delivered safely with no damage. They even made an extra stop a few blocks away at no charge.

Jimmy responded to our request for quote very quickly and with a reasonable price. Date & Time was scheduled and insurance put in place quickly. They arrived on schedule for the move, and packed everything quickly and securely. The same for unloading. Jimmy and his crew are professional who take great care and pride in their work. Highly recommended.

Jimmy was quick to return my call, we made an appointment for later that day, he came as scheduled, moved the sofas, over all great experience.

Everything went well. The manager answered the phone on Sunday, and we moved out on Wednesday.

I asked for a quote online at his website and he got back to me with a quote within 15 minutes. His price was reasonable and he was extremely responsive and flexible in terms of when he could move me. I ended up using another company only because a family friend worked there and promised to get me a deal. But because he was so responsive and customer focused, I wanted to write a report for him to let everyone else know.

Overall, did a good job taking away the rubbish (a couple of things were left, though). He properly refused to take chemicals - I'll bring this to a county-sponsored disposal site. Indicated that he does furniture moves too - gave a very high estimate to do so. We decided not to take him up on this estimate.

They were great. The owner came and gave us an estimate; I thought it was high but I signed up anyway. I was very happy that I did because they were terrific -- on time, courteous, and they went above and beyond....they not only removed, they cleaned up after themselves. They were EXTREMELY careful not to remove anything accidentally -- double-checked to make sure everything that was being thrown out was supposed to be included. Very nice men and good job.

Overall, it went very well. The estimate-contract-move timeframe was quick, in about two weeks, maybe even a day or two less, as I was starting a new job. Jimmy and his crew were fast, efficient and really nice. I had underestimated the size of my move (who doesn't... ) and also the day of the move realized that I had several large items that needed to be disposed of. We quickly worked out the changes and things moved right along. My items were packed on Friday the 17th, with the delivery scheduled for early Saturday morning on the 18th. His crew was here even before expected, were patient with a delay from the leasing agent at my new place and got that truck unloaded quickly once i had the keys. Again, the unload crew was courteous and professional. It's important to have a mover that follows through, as moving is a very stressful event - Jimmy and his crew got the job done and took a lot of the anxiety out of it for me.

Good answering service. Owner called right back and provided a time and price based on job and location; the price was in the right ballpark. Scheduling and directions done via e-mail. Two men arrived on Sunday morning at 8:30 am and all was completed within an hour. Movers were effiicient, polite and careful. Recipient of beds was impressed and plans to use them for another move.

They were very good on all accounts. They were on-time and did a good job. They unloaded the items into the apartment. Everything was done well.

Great. The team did a fantastic job. They made sure we had everything where we wanted it before they left, wrapped our furniture for travel, let us hold onto the borrowed wardrobe boxes longer than expected, etc. It was a brutally hot day and we never heard a complaint, even when I asked a couple of the guys to turn our ridiculously heavy treadmill around before they left. they were very professional and we were very pleased with the move. I would highly suggest them.

I was very pleased with their work. They were very good to work with. They gave me a good price. I got another price from somebody else and their price was better. They were very professional and their crew was very nice.

I called and got a quick estimate, when I needed to make a few changes they were responsive and fair in the pricing. They came on time, worked hard, were VERY nice and very professional. Nothing was damaged, they cleaned up all the wrapping, and when I realized I did not have enough money, they followed me 20 minutes to a bank without a complaint. I would certainly recommend them and use them again.

Jimmy was very professional and very understanding. Once I filled out the quote information on the website I received a response within 48 hours, after I decided to go with him I had to add 10 boxes onto the estimate which only raised the price $100 and I was able to add insurance. He capped the price and there were no changes. I was extremely happy because Big John moving quoted the same move at $750 more and they came into my home to do the quote (they also didn't know how to estimate and over quoted me by 30 BOXES). Jimmy is a great guy and his team is curious, punctual and efficient. I would work with them in a heartbeat.

Everything they did, from the original quote, to follow-ups to questions, to the actual move went flawlessly. The crew that loaded our belongings were both fast and very careful. They took time to pack each item in a way that protected it from damage. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and made sure we were happy before they left. Bottom line: We'd hire them again without hesitation.

He was very good. He was thorough, he did what he had to do, and that was it. I like it when you don?t have to think about it and it was great. He was very methodical and professional.

The team was quick and professional. The weather was awful and they protected my property.
