Jimmy and his team are top shelf service providers. This is the second time they've moved us within a year. They took incredible care with all our items and each of our homes. Their hands took the bumps as apposed to our furniture or walls. I’ve referred “A Man with a Van and More” to seven equally satisfied friends. It’s not common to get this kind of service these days.

The most recent move was helping our daughter move to Chicago. The move entailed picking up furniture that we had stored at a storage place and then going to our daughter's apartment to get all of her things there. Many of the items had to be handled with care because our daughter has a music studio in her apartment with lots of sensitive equipment. The movers arrived at the storage place five minutes early . The guys were upbeat, well mannered, careful and hard working. From the storage place, they went to our daughter's apartment to finish the job. We flew out to Chicago, where our daughter had rented an apartment starting on August 1st. My family arrived at the apartment at 7:45 in the morning and the movers were there ten minutes later. Once again, still in great spirits and totally professional. Not only would I highly recommend "A MAN WITH A VAN AND MORE" to anyone needing movers, but it is the only company I will ever use.

Really, really well. On time and well prepared. These are skillful movers who clearly know all the details to watch on valuable painting, etc. Friendly, ..what more can I say? At 74, best move I've had in my life.

I called the office on July 3rd, and a lady picked up the phone; I left a message with her. A few hours later Jimmy called me back and left me a message to fill out the estimate form online. I did that on July 4th expecting that Jimmy would get back on the 5th since 4th was a holiday. However, exceeding my expectations, Jimmy sent me the estimate in a few hours. After that, whenever I had a question, I emailed Jimmy, and he replied back in a few hours (every time). He sent 5 guys on the day of the move; they were punctual, incredibly hard and clean working guys. They wrapped all the furniture carefully, and were very careful while carrying the furniture. They were also fun to watch. Incredible guys!They did not ask more than the estimate. What Jimmy quoted was what I paid. However, make sure that you provide Jimmy with the right information as to what will be moved as that list is crucial on the day of the move. I will definitely use Jimmy's service next time.

What a great experience with a moving company. From the first email through the truck leaving the new house - service. With a new truck, and a good size crew, and great care, these guys hustled through the day. It was great watching them hoist bed frames and mattresses to the second floor on the outside of the house. Every thing arrived in perfect condition. These guys really are the best.

Jimmy is very passionate about his business and accommodating his customer is his paramount objective. It was necessary to change our move date several times and Jimmy went out of his way to accommodate the changes. The move went smoothly thanks to Jimmy and his crew.

All, and I mean all, my boxes were moved safely. The two bureaus were wrapped in shrink wrap so I did not have to unpack a single drawer....and since they were white and very old, it is totally amazing they arrived scratch, chip and mark free, as if transported by an angel. An antique chair, not in the best of shape, was moved similarly...just well wrapped in a blanket. The other movers said this would require a special box, etc., -- all of which Jimmy said was not really necessary and just an expensive way to fatten up the bill. I did most of my own packing as I wanted to label the boxes (which I bought at Home Depot.) But he provided wardrobe boxes. I WAS VERY NERVOUS ABOUT POSSIBLY PICKING UP BEDBUGS DURING THE MOVE BUT WHEN THEY SHOWED ME THE WARDROBE BOXES I COULD SMELL VERY STRONG INSECTICIDE on them. I had sprayed everything with an anti-bedbug spray -- non-toxic but with a foul odor -- and all that was totally unnecessary! Obviously his van was well fumigated as well. Jimmy's two Mexican moving men were intelligent, gentle and delightful. The whole experience -- I had to take a cab to beat them up to Riverdale -- was totally like a dream and totally totally worry free.....Use this guy/! They even helped me wrap up my airconditioner in a canvas tarp for the move! The total bill was $800 just as Jimmy said from the start.

The day of the move went very well. His workers were quick, efficient, and professional.. They broke down, and reinstalled all of my furniture with out any problems. if there were any scratches on my furniture they would point it put prior to moving. Over all good experience, and I would surely use them again.

After seeing the great reviews on Angie's List, I submitted a request for a quote through their company website, MovingAnywhere.com. I got a response within ten minutes from the owner, Jimmy Consaga, who offered a very competitive flat rate and scheduling options. Most of the details were negotiated by email, and Jimmy was very easy to work with. The move went smoothly, and I would definitely recommend the services of A Man With a Van & More! Inc.

Considering the restrictions imposed upon the movers by our first building and the fact that the building we were moving to has a five PM deadline for move-ins, the move went well. We didn't get some of our furniture until the next day as a consequence, and there was a greater imposition on the movers, some of that also because my contractor's men hadn't adequately cleaned the apartment and were sometimes in the way of the movers. It would be hard to find a moving service more accomodating, despite all the aggravation and inconvenience imposed on them. Five Stars!

I needed to move a house from NJ to PA on short notice due to a change in closing date. I called 4 or 5 of the top-rated companies on Angie's list. A couple of them were only local movers (I guess I missed the info on the web page when I called). One of them never called me back after I left 2 messages on different days in their phone mail. Another one called me 4 days later to tell me that they could not move me on the date I needed. Fortunately, Jimmy came to my rescue. First of all, it is nice to talk to a receptionist rather than leave a message in an anonymous phone mail. Second, he called me back and/or texted me within a couple of hours. He was able to arrange the mover schedule to fit my needs with a week's notice. He communicated with me via phone or text a dozen times to arrange the details. The movers and Jimmy himself arrived exactly at the appointed time. The 4 movers were very efficient and professional. They were very careful and showed me any pre-existing chips on furniture pieces before loading them. The following day I met them at my destination in Pennsylvania. The experience was similarly pleasant. No damage whatsoever to any item. I had to store some of the furniture in a storage facility, and the items were all stacked efficiently and carefully. Only one suggestion for future customers: If you have the estimate of the volume/size of your furniture done via internet, as I did, try to be accurate and maybe overestimate the volume a bit - I did an inventory of the furniture by memory [having moved myself already 300 miles away] and forgot 2 large pieces of furniture I had stored in the garage a while ago, which resulted in the truck having literally no room to spare for an extra straw.

I had used Jimmy 3 times before this when I originally found him on Angie's list several months prior for a move after another mover I had been using took several days to return my call after referring him tons or business. Each time Jimmy proved to be fantastic. He texted me immediately to say he was available early in the morning between 8-9. By time the owner of the armoire got back to me an hour or so,later the morning slot was taken. Jimmy knew it was a must to pick it up quickly so he squeezed me in later in the day. Otherwise He was quite booked for several weeks. Anyway the whole thing was done flawlessly. He even had the owner of the armoire call me to make sure I still wanted it as they found a chip in the back when they were moving it. He must never sleep as he seems to be ready for calls 24/7. Jimmy always has a can do attitude and yet is realistic. He also seems be a good employer as his guys are hard working and never complaining. The gentleman i have met have been with him many years. They seem tomhave genuine admiration for him. He always treats them with great respect. When I find someone who is professional, reliable and reasonably priced I am a very loyal customer and good PR agent.

There arent enough superlatives to describe how well it went. They arrived on time, were careful and charged me the agreed upon price- not a penny more. Jimmy and his team were tireless. There wasnt a scratch on anything not even a wall. This wasnt a small move- we moved into a 4500 square foot home and it is fully furnished, including the finished basement. They moved a grand piano, 3 full sized sofas, dining room, 5 bedrooms worth of furniture many chairs, outdoor sofas chaises and chairs etc.

The move was broken up into two days since I contacted A Man With a Van & More with the need for a pretty quick turnaround--Jimmy worked with me to accommodate a busy schedule (his team) with our specific move dates. On both the packing day and the move day his guys showed up on time and were thorough and courteous throughout, ie they asked how I wanted unique/fragile items packed, where each box went, etc. Both the pack and move day went smoothly and in a reasonable amount of time. I was most impressed with how careful the team was with a pain-in-the-neck sofa sleeper that needed to go through two narrow doorways and a narrow hall--no wall nicks or bumps on the sofa!

Extremely clean, brand new truck. Movers took extra care wrapping furniture and making sure there would be no damage, which was my primary concern. Overall very curteous moving staff and a positive overall experience. Would definitely move with this company again.

I managed to schedule a move with Jimmy only a few weeks in advance but still got exactly the day I wanted. It was a very quick arrangement - did the list online, Jimmy emailed a quick quote, I accepted, he sent the contract and we had a booking. There's not a lot of hand-holding but there's also no fuss. On the day, they were on time, the crew was great: friendly, respectful of our possessions and eager to get things right - very professional. They moved everything by mid-afternoon, were happy to move things that didn't look like they were in the right place and careful not to break anything. They added in a rubbish dump at the end of the day to clear out the old location without a problem and brought over extra boxes when we ran out. All in all a very good experience, everything was easy and well-organized and - dare I say - an almost stressfree move! Would have preferred to have the wardrobe boxes in advance so that the clothes could have been packed before they arrived, it worked out fine but I suggest you request that you get them before the move day. I'll use them again and I don't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks guys!

This is the third move I had this company do a move for me. Each time they have been extremely prompt and performed their service very well without complaints. They also took the time to show me any scratched or damaged furniture before moving so therer is no question of liability later. On this move I underestimated the amount to be moved. Jimmy brought a truck appropriate to the list I gave him. He had to come back a second day for the remainder as not everything fit. He was very fair and did not complain about my error. have already recommended this company to other people and will use them again when my house in Pa sells. I am so impressed they show up on time. I can remember moves where the movers where hours late or never coming at all. These guys are on- time or arrive early. Jimmy the owner returns your call within nano seconds for an estimate or date.

Move went very well. The crew were all very sharp and professional. I do suggest making sure to be very detailed about what you are moving on the estimate form. Since it was on such short notice, I filled out the form as a ballpark estimate, and missed a few things such as putting down an estimate of the number of weights (from a weight set) instead of the total pounds. But in the end, Jimmy was very accommodating and took it in stride.

Jimmy showed up on time and as promised for the quote. His crew showed up on time and finished in only one day. Nothing broken or scratched. Lots of steps on both ends and lots of furniture. They used a small truck and made a few trips which worked out to be easier on us. I would use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Jimmy (the owner) and his team of four guys arrived right on time at 8:00 am and started loading boxes and furniture. The team was professional and efficient. The foreman of the team always asked for instructions, and always noted to me if a piece of furniture had pre-existing damage. Some items were not pre-packed, but the team efficiently and carefully wrapped and/or packed these things. Any furniture with drawers were wrapped with plastic to make them secure. I had more stuff than the movers expected, but they are obviously experts at efficient packing, because everything fit on the truck they arrived in. These guys were FAST. The entire move, from loading to unloading took only 4.5 hours. I labelled most boxes with location to be moved, and they always put them in the right place. When in doubt, they always asked me first. The foreman of the team assembled the large wardrobe closet at the new site for me. I was amazed at how fast and skillfully he put it back together, without instructions. This team prides themselves on their speed, efficiency, and professionalism, and I can positively vouch for all of it.
