This provider this a great job for me. They were very neat and clean and very happy while they did their work. I would definitely use them again. They were very careful with my furniture and were on-time. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do.

It didn't go anywhere. While it's certainly possible, I have no way of knowing, & never will, whether this company does a good job, I am not about to pay a dubious premium for a unsolicited migraine No, I didn't record the telephone call (illegal in NYS, without the consent of the other party), but I am well-documented on everything else.

In two words, INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC!!! The team was totally professional & focused on the need to handle pieces of family furniture carefully. Several pieces were heavy & difficult to move & the team never complained. They worked together & supported each other with a sense of concern & humor. Each & every piece was impeccably handled. The team worked hard to accomplish the move in the most efficient & timely manor possible. The end result . . . no scratches, no dings & everything in its place as requested. They are the best moving team I have ever worked with.

"Jimmy" gave me an online estimate for part of my furniture to be moved to storage. He was able to move my furniture on very short notice (which I needed quickly due to Real Estate photos to be taken for my house-for-sale listing), & did this move on a Sunday. He brought more workers than expected, so the job went faster than I thought it would. All of the workers with him were professional & handled my furniture with care (including antiques, some with glass/mirrors/marble parts). I asked them to move 3 remaining pieces of furniture to different spots in the rooms they were in, & they did so willingly, even adjusting the spots as I requested. Throughout the whole process there was no griping or complaining, like from other movers I've dealt with in the past. Everyone was positive, cooperative, & helpful. Jimmy referred me to a storage facility that was just as high-class & professional as his crew was, & the storage room he recommended was the right size for my stuff. The move was as painless as it could be, & Jimmy stuck to his estimate (another thing that other companies seem to have a big problem doing). He kept the estimate despite the fact that I increased the number of boxes I had by 25-30 (due to my last minute packing). There were no "hidden charges" & no "surprises". He did exactly what he said he'd do, & at the agreed-upon price. I recommend this company to anyone who needs to move, especially people with antiques, & people who know the value of a firm estimate.

When I first called, I left a message and my call was returned shortly. I received an estimate promptly after emailing details of what I needed done. I called on Friday and scheduled for Tuesday. Jimmy and his three man crew arrived to take furniture pieces from one location to the other and back. Travel time between locations was easily 30 minutes. They were very nice, clean cut, polished and professional. Their truck was immaculate! Inside and out! Did not look at all like typical moving van. I asked if they could take a couple more items like a bike and some bins, and they did. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them highly.

In looking to hire a mover, I contacted several different companies. A Man With A Van was extremely quick to respond via email and phone. They were flexible with regard to my schedule and showed up right on time. The movers were extremely courteous, professional, and EFFICIENT. They went to great lengths to protect my furniture, as well as the walls and floors of my house. I had grossly underestimated the amount of boxes I had, causing them to bring a smaller truck (they told me they'd bring a smaller truck before they did it) that wasn't quite big enough to move all my supplies. Fortunately, they had another van from their fleet come immediately. I was pretty much at their whim at this point and they could have really taken advantage of me charging for the extra van, but Jimmy (the owner) only charged another $300 - more than fair considering another truck and person had to stay with us for several hours. Not a single item was broken or damaged. I would never hesitate to use these movers again and recommend them without hesitation.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. I called his number and call was picked up promptly by a very personable, professional person. She took my pertinent information and the owner, Jim, called me back immediately. His quote was very fair and we set the date of the move. He arrived with three men, even though it was a small job, to ensure that I was moved out before the start of the business day which was a requirement of the landlord. His men were courteous and professional and the move was done in record time. The move into my new office went equally as well. I will use A Man With A Van and More again and will not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. He is a man of his word...you can't get better than that!!

Jimmy Consaga and his wonderful crew couldn't have been better! Their dedicated service and professionalism from start to finish was a pleasure! In a process fraught with potential for great stress and with many (pardon the unintended pun) moving parts, Jimmy was fantastic. He coordinated with all involved and indeed nothing was too much trouble. He moved my older relatives to Florida like they were family, exhibiting great care and consideration. Thank you, Jimmy! Movers were prompt, professional and did a good job. Jimmy Consaga, whom I presume is the owner/manager, was very responsive and provided all information requested. The move was effortless. We would use them again!

I called James and said he would be able to remove the piano either the same day or the next. It wasn't long before he called again and said that they would pick it up and remove latter that same day. I couldn't have been happier that they did this so promptly/quickly. Yes I would use them again.

These guys were absolutely amazing. They emptied everything I had in my 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor and loaded the van in literally 20 minutes, got the van to the new address immediately, and had my new place set up in no more than another 30 minutes. They politely asked where they would like each piece of furniture or box for our convenience, offered help in numerous ways, and the owner of the company was a pleasure to talk to. Anyone who is moving and wants efficient and courteous service from a solid company would be very pleased to work with A Man With A Van & More!

Family member moved from the East to the West coast. This was a supply chain process under the ABF transportation umbrella. U-Pack Pod was dropped in the driveway by ABF transportation and loaded by a team from A Man With a Van and More. The team was very good in packing the Pod. The Pod was picked up the next day and sent on its way. You are able to track the Pod thru the ABF tracking system. Pod arrived 10 days later. An issue arose with the company delivering the Pod on the West coast - they had been running late with deliveries and did not call. This created an issue with the time scheduled unloaders - who were part of the ABF Moving Staffers umbrella. Unloading went fine...except a computer desk was found damaged when removed from the Pod. Unloading team took pictures. Here is where it is Buyer Beware: the loading and unloading teams were contacted about a claim. They both said to submit the claim to ABF - which was done. ABF denied the claim because they said that they are only responsible for the transportation. No one took responsibility (the loading company, the transportation company or the unloaders) for the damage - which was clearly seen in the pictures. These companies all worked within the ABF system.

I needed some furniture moved from NY to CA. I had planned to use a regular long distance mover. I called Jimmy and told him what I was moving and he suggested that instead of a moving company to get one of those pods. Big moving companies don't like to move just a few things. He gave me the name of the pod company (U Pack.) I made a few more phone calls and found Jimmy to be correct. Jimmy and Cecil (at U Pack) were responsive and accommodating. On the day of the move, 3 men showed up along with Jimmy. They were great. They did everything. They wrapped everything very well, they dismantled beds, protected mirrors. They were friendly, polite and very hard workers. I've moved several times before and it always turned out to be a nightmare. I was stressing out for weeks before the move. Jimmy's guys made the move pleasurable. They were knowledgeable in knowing what to do and how to pack. It was a pleasant experience. I was confident they knew what they were doing. I will definitely use these guys again.

Then vendor offered to provide the last minute service at a very high cost and only for cash. I appreciate being available in a time of need, but not being taking advantage of in a manner that questions ethics and professionalism of vendor.

Everything was perfect. I had forgotten how "burred" the dresser was in the storage unit, so they had to move lots of stuff out of the way to get to the dresser. I was willing to pay extra for the extra work, but James didn't let me pay. They provide good old fashioned service. Refreshing!

I can't say enough good things about how great Jimmy Consaga and his crew from A Man with A Van & More were!! I had the responsibility of packing up and clearing out my elderly aunt's Manhattan apartment after she had lived there for 30 years. To say it was an overwhelming task would be an understatement. There was furniture, clothing and assorted stuff that needed to be moved to NJ, and furniture, bedding and assorted stuff that needed to be disposed of. Not being familiar with the logistics of apartment living--and especially NYC, I would get a headache every time I looked around at the massive accumulation of "stuff" that needed to be taken care of. Jimmy and A Man with A Van & More to the rescue!! Literally. Reading all the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Jimmy and consistent with what other reviewers had said, he was responsive, called back when he said he would, showed up on time--early actually--for both the estimate and the actual job, provided requisite documents to the building management, and most of all, took care of everything I needed done. He charged $1,500 which I thought was a fair price. There were no surprise additional charges either. The price was the price. He brought a crew of five guys and two trucks--one truck to haul away all the stuff going to the trash, and the other truck to transport items going to NJ. All of the men were courteous, responsible, friendly, respectful--of me and the items they were handling--even the things going to the trash, and hardworking. No one stood around waiting to be told what to do. They moved quickly and efficiently and by noon, everything was done. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of movers and I would definitely hire A Man with A Van and More again. He took the stress out of stressful and my headaches have finally subsided!

This is the third time I've used Jimmy for moves - there's nobody better. This happened all last minute, and Jimmy worked his magic to make sure he could accommodate us on short notice. It's probably been said before in other reviews, but the mark of a good company is the longevity of the staff. Happy staff stays a long time and is a direct reflection on the owner of the company. If you need to move - big or small - Jimmy is your guy. Do it!

Jimmy and his people arrived as scheduled and were highly efficient and careful in their approach. The guys were determined to get things resolved when they appeared not possible in terms of getting large things into or through small spaces. The crew was respectful and conscientious. All was completed with absolutely no damage other then a few minor paint nicks.

This company was by far the most personable and respectful company around. Worked with my schedule and got the job done even with a biy more adjustments to the original plan. Would use them again for sure.

My son found Man with a Van & More here on Angie's List. He contacted them on Thursday evening and they were able to accommodate the move Saturday morning. They arrived right on time. The two workers were polite and professional. The job was completed quickly, to our total satisfaction. The amount that was charged is exactly what was quoted, plus we gave a tip for a job well done. Should the need arise, I would hire Man with a Van & More again without hesitation.

This was a huge move, from one 12,000 sqft home to another. Moreover, our old house had limited access for trucks, so they were not able to use their largest vehicles, and could only use smaller trucks. Davey and the boys spent about 3 weeks packing us up room by room. They were very professional as usual, but just as importantly, they were very considerate of our lives, doing their best to make the packing process as unobtrusive as possible for our family, including our baby. In addition to the usual furniture and stuff you would find in a home with six occupied bedrooms and two spares, we have a full home gym with numerous pieces of heavy equipment and literally thousands of pounds of weights. Also, we have a very complicated home theater system and a home network server setup that had to be very carefully shut down, dismantled and packed up. We also have numerous statutes, sculptures, paintings and large photographs. The move-in was every bit as difficult as you might imagine. But Davey and his crew were just as careful as we could have hoped. And even after several days of moving and unpacking massive amounts of furniture and other heavy objects, they were still going strong and still being careful, right up to the last box. Everything was carefully unpacked and placed where we wanted it. On top of everything else, we had just had the floors refinished in our new home, so they had to be extra careful not to scrape or drag anything on the wooden floors, and they were! I?m sure this is one of the largest and most complicated moves Jimmy has ever handled, especially given the logistics problems imposed by the limited access at our old house. But Davey and team came through in spectacular fashion. The lack of stress that we experienced during this process was incredible given the size and scope of the project. As always, A Man With a Van and More gets my highest possible recommendation.

I was amazed how they wrapped everything for the move and very so polite all the way. I was so amazed at how great they were that I called my husband to tell him for the their office move. Also James recommended a storage unit. The one I was going to use I found out was infested with pest, etc. I cannot explain how they put all the items in the unit. They were amazing! And on time!

You get what you pay for with this company, they were on time (actually early), very professional and extremely nice guys. Did everything we discussed in the contract plus a few extra things at no additional charge. Handled all my things we extreme care. They wouldn't even put boxes down on the damp driveway without something underneath, and even cleaned off the truck ramp before unloading my stuff. Couldn't of asked for more. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. Best moving experience I've ever had.

first, sry this review is so late. I didn't realized I hadn't done this. This is the first time I've moved and didn't have to supervise every move or have something damaged. This crew knw what they were doing. All I had to do was stand back and let them do their thing. They wrapped every thing and carefully loaded everything into the truck. At the storage unit they masterfuly placed everything in the unit in the most space saving manner. You won't go wrong with these guys. Prompt, professional and friendly.
