He did a good job, and was very respectful of all of their belongings. He was timely; he did all the loading and unloading of the trailer for us.

I've used these guys before and they're great. Always punctual, always polite, always careful.

We have nothing but great things to say about this company. Jimmy came to our condo to give us a quote for the move and we paid exactly that. We've never done a long distance move like this and expected to be without our stuff for at least a few days- we were very impressed that they would be delivering our belongings to NC the morning after they were packed up in NY (and they actually arrived before we did!). The movers arrived on time, worked quickly and every one of the movers was courteous and extremely careful with our belongings. When we were unloading at the house they were so kind about rearranging things if we asked or allowing us to quickly open boxes that we had forgotten to label so they would be placed in the correct room. Moving is always stressful but we were so thankful that the actual move itself could not have been smoother. Would absolutely recommend this company!

Jimmy's moving company is the best we have ever used! He was well staffed, they were all very professional and hard-working. Moving is very stressful, and A Man And A Van And More, Inc. made it less so. I like how they packed and moved us so much that now that we are selling our house in CT, I am going to have Jimmy's company pack and move the rest of our belongings in CT this summer to move to Dallas. Again, it will be stressful (I hate moving), but working with Jimmy's company will make it less so!

The crew arrived early and worked very quickly and professionally. They were very well organized and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

this is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Jimmy and his crew and have always been extremely satisfied. The last time I called it was on a sat. morning and was hoping to have the job done soon. Well Jim got back to me with an estimate within an hour and the job was done by 1:00 oclock in the afternoon. he's always been punctual and in constant communication with me to synchronize the job, and he and his men are neat careful and professional.

Jimmy Consaga and his company, A Man with a Van, has moved me twice including a full house move and a smaller condo move over the past 4 years. His movers are courteous, efficient, very conscientious and attentive to detail. Nothing broken and basically nailed it. We are using him for a third time this summer to move again.

The quote questionnaire was precise, and James responded quickly with a very fair price. I agreed to the job, and when I had some questions the day before the job we communicated via text so there were no unknowns. They arrived on time, and the job went without a hitch. James' men were courteous and worked fast. I was 100% satisfied.

Amazing work by prompt, responsive, careful, pleasant team of movers. Perfect gentlemen who take pride in their work, as they should because their work is amazing. They make such hard work look easy. I strongly recommend this moving service to anyone who needs to move.

Called mover on a Friday afternoon. Left message. Received prompt call back from principal of company. Exceptionally courteous. Arranged move for the very next day. Good communication on day of move. Arrived at promised time. Crew was well trained and efficient. Completed move timely with no problems. Highly recommended.

In short, the move went very well. I'd expected that since I used James and his crew a few years ago and they did a really good job then already. The crew arrived on time and started organizing boxes and furniture before they were permitted to use the elevator in the building. They worked well together and were very careful with all the pieces - I saw absolutely no damage anywhere (although one of the guys was a bit rough handed but he was guided by one of the more experienced members to be more gentle in the tight spaces). Overall, the price, speed and quality of work was very good. I will use James and his crew again in the future.

Overall, this was a great experience! Moving is stressful for everyone but Jimmy and his team made it less so. (I moved on the Friday before the big snowstorm hit the Northeast that evening.) From the start, I could tell Jimmy was professional which was important to me. He returned my first phone call for an estimate almost immediately. He came to the house when he said he would. He was clear on the estimate. The owner is only as good as his support staff and these guys are amazing! Led by David, they worked fast, packed carefully and even had a sense of humor...dodging the dog when they had to. They reassured me on a number of occasions that everything would get done on time (even though I didn't see how)...they were in control and so efficient from beginning to end. They came a few days before the move to get rid of everything I couldn't/didn't want to take with me. The items were either donated or trashed. They came early the day of the move to pack. When they left, the house was empty, ready for the cleaning crew to come in and do their thing for the new buyer's walk through. Moving into the apartment took only about an hour and a half. Again, they were fast, boxes were labeled properly and if they didn't know which room to put them in, they asked. Every single item seemed to be packed exactly how it was left in my house. Jimmy cares about doing a good job and it shows. When you text him, he texts you right back. He got me an electrician to remove the chandeliers when mine couldn't come. I would definitely move with him again and have already recommended him to my neighbor!

We recently used Jimmy for the second time in just over a year and everything ran like clockwork. These guys are great. No fuss - just great service. Booking was easy, the price was right, they turned up on time, did the job and everything was good. We used Jim for an earlier move last February from an apartment in Queens to a storage unit in Cortlandt. As they did before, Jim and his team of three moved quickly and carefully. We were very satisfied.

Very well! Jimmy returned my call in less than a day and we negotiated a price by me sending him photos of the stuff to be moved. We negotiated a price and he told me he could do it the next day. Two workers arrived within the specified range, introduced themselves, and got right down to business. They were friendly to us and to each other as well (it's so unpleasant when workers complain about their jobs or their boss or their back pain when they're doing something for you!) Very professional. Brought everything into the basement and stacked it neatly. No nonsense, friendly and efficient.

A Man With a Van and More - Jimmy Consaga and his crew performed an absolutely amazing job for me. I was first impressed that I emailed on a Tuesday night - was in touch and giving particulars of the job by Wednesday morning - estimate given and scheduled for that Sunday - the Sunday before Christmas no less. I wanted to have the job done before worrying about snow as the files had to be carried over a grassy expanse to where they would be stored. I have heard of other movers who require 30 days notice, etc., but Jimmy was happy to schedule at my convenience. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Consaga and his crew. They came exactly on time, and with the right size larger truck necessary since I was moving large file cabinets as well as files. They actually carefully packed files that hadn't been previously packed, categorized by initials and dates, taped up securely, and taped up previously packed boxes securely, taking several hours of work. These men cheerfully lifted, carried and moved these large heavy pieces of furniture and boxes with seemingly little effort - very efficiently. Care was taken to cover and cushion the cabinets. Truck was extremely clean and they proceeded to clean and store everything neatly before they left. These men even swept out the storage facility before they placed my items in an organized fashion. The quote was extremely fair, no extra or hidden fees were charged, and I was very happy to have this project that had been on my mind taken care of. I highly recommend them for promptness, for fair pricing, for sticking to that price, for having the right equipment including large enough truck, for doing whatever needed to be done to get the project done - and in an extremely cheerful manner at all times! I understand they also will come and do trash removal, and move people even cross country. I will not hesitate to contact them for whatever job or project I have to have done in the future.

The men were very attentive to all of our belongings and very polite. They made sure that everything was where we wanted it to be an even repaired a piece of furniture that we had broken ourselves. We are very pleased with how professional everyone was from the beginning to the end of the process. All of the men were very hard working and never stopped except only to break for lunch. We finally recommend Jimmy and his crew!

They came several hours late as a previous job ran over, consequently, the workers were tired having already put in a 12 hour day. They insisted that in order to move a bed (so as to rotate the rug beneath) it needed to be totally disassembled. By now it was 7:30 pm and even though I have moved this bed myself and knew it could be accomplished without complete disassembly, I decided to let it go. The movers departed after I paid $600 for one hour of work. The owner denied the fact that the service was lacking and emphasized the crew was his best. The owner then closed our conversation, where there was no accord reached, by shouting that I ought to have a "blessed day"...... ought I have said thank you to that?? Proceed with caution. From looking at reviews, it seems they do better at large jobs, not small jobs such as mine was.

The move was efficient, professional and with no hidden costs. Other movers may quote you lower moving rates, but they charge additional based on miles, number of movers and if they have to pack/wrap anything. I had my stuff already packed so that was not part of the service provided, but they took time and care to wrap my furniture, large pictures, mirrors etc to protect it. Nothing was broken or damaged in the move, and the workers were very nice.

Jimmy and his crew are TOP NOTCH! As an owner, Jimmy is kind, courteous, efficient and responsive. His communication skills were truly amazing. He is a gentleman and listens to the customer's needs. We appreciated Jimmy's kindness and thoroughness. The men were incredible. They were careful and courteous and efficient. It's amazing to see huge, heavy pieces of furniture and boxes being moved with ease - at times, the men were even sprinting. Their agility, strength and keen sense of spatial organization made a sight to behold by all the neighbors around us. And, the men, all wearing company tees, constantly had smiles on their faces. The trucks were unbelievably clean and well cared for ... the blankets spotless and clean ... It was very evident that Jimmy and his crew very much care for their company and have pride in their equipment. Even in the best of circumstances, a move is never easy and always emotional. My family and I are so very grateful to Jimmy and his crew for making the actual physical moving experience so painless and ... dare I say ... enjoyable! Every single employee and Jimmy were full of smiles and there was a lot of laughter with Man with a Van and More and our family and neighbors! I've been asked by at least 3 neighbors already for Jimmy's contact info. I am happily passing it along. We will never make another move without using Jimmy and his crew. Amazing. Really amazing.

Provider (James Consaga) was responsive, but not very friendly. Hoping this was an anomaly considering all the great reviews he's had and that's why we called. Perhaps it was just because he was quite busy. Either way, didn't appreciate the brevity or the lack of courtesy when trying to get a high level quote for moving services. We will take our business elsewhere. You win some, you lose some.

Jimmy called to ask if the could come by a bit earlier to pick up TV which was perfect for me. Once at the house they took the heavy TV with no problem. Jimmy reminded me that I had asked about another item to be picked up which was helpful. The other TV was also taken. Fast service. They were in and out quickly and got the job done and then some.

I have used A Man with a Van and More for the second time this year and found James and his crew to be top notch once again. I had previously moved from Rye to a storage unit in Portchester but was unable to book James for the date I needed and used another company. The other company was almost half the price and not half as good. You know the old saying "you get what you pay for" well this is true in moving companies as well. James and his crew are full time movers .. The moving truck and blankets are spotless and the men are courteous and know the business. Just a note of warning, some companies will unwittingly deliver some unwanted critters (roaches etc) because they do not care, not the case with A Man w/a Van. As I said before his blankets are cleaned or replaced on a regular basis and the truck is spotless. The only thing you will get from James is your furniture in the same condition as it was before delivery.
