James and his crew was amazing!! Not only were they timely, friendly, and efficient, they took everything including donation items and large garbage items all to my surprise. A GREAT one stop shop!!. Would definitely use him again and would confidently refer him to friends and family without hesitation. He made a difficult move so much easier.

Everyone was wonderful! The move was tough for my mom after being in the house for 30 years. I was in direct contact with Jimmy, the owner who keep me in the loop of his team's arrival. The men who came to the move were attentive and did more than I could have ever imagined. They helped me with everything and even cleaned up the house for me before they took off in the van. When it came to delivering everything to the new condo, everything was done with care. They put items exactly where I wanted and kept asking if there was more they could do. I helped my mom unpack and was so impressed with the packing job they did as well. I had called Jimmy only a week before the move realizing I couldn't do it myself and he was so helpful in accommodating me on such short notice Highly, highly recommended!!

It went great. They arrived on time at the house where they were picking up the piano and had it out in about 15 minutes. They got to our street and it was closed off for 9/11. They backed down the street with no problems and got the piano into the building and into our apartment without it ever touching a wall. No scratches, no damage, no problems.

Everything went very smoothly and was very happy with the service. I sent them photos and received a quote within 30 minutes. I asked if it were too short notice to schedule the work to be done by the end of the week (it was Tuesday) and they were able to come the very next day. The work was fast and efficient and both workers were very professional and accommodating. They even helped remove a very large poster from its frame that we were trashing. It required a bit of drilling, unscrewing, and demo to break it apart but they did it like pros and without the slightest bit of push back. Great stuff. Would gladly use again.

After reading so many positive reviews for A Man with A Van & More, Inc., we chose these guys for our planned move from Manhattan to Long Island, after first considering another mover. It wound up being a terrific choice, not only because of the professionalism and excellence of the crew, but also the personal service we received from the company's owner, Jimmy Consaga. Jimmy helped us through a very complicated situation when the move went horribly wrong due to the failure of our new landlord to have the house ready for us when we arrived with all of our furniture and possessions. From the very beginning - when I panicked and called Jimmy the morning of the move because I feared we would not be finished packing - Jimmy calmed me down and reassured me that everything would work out. When his team arrived they could not be more helpful and polite. They were extremely careful and worked efficiently to load everything onto the truck, which was immaculately clean. Jimmy had given us a competitive quote based on the online form we had completed, and he stuck to the quote without tacking on any unexpected charges or fees. Unfortunately, when we got to the rental house, the landlord did not have it ready for us, so we were unable to move in. The only problem was we had already surrendered the keys to our old apartment and had no place to go with all of our stuff. We spoke to Jimmy from the location, and he fully understood our situation and again put our minds to ease, assuring us that everything would be okay, that he would keep our stuff on the truck for several days until we could find a new place, and that if we needed more time he would put everything in a clean and safe storage facility that he regularly uses. As it turned out, it took us a full month to get a new Manhattan apartment. A couple of deals fell through for various reasons, but Jimmy remained patient. Dealing with him was the only thing that kept us sane, as he was not only our mover, but also like a therapist, because he understood our anxieties about being without our stuff for so long, and told us not to worry, that he would take care of everything. Jimmy did take care of everything, because when we finally signed a lease for our new place, we got all of our stuff back in clean and dry condition, with everything accounted for, and once again a great job by Davey, Mauricio, Ernesto and rest of Jimmy's crew in moving everything back, and setting up our furniture, etc., without so much as leaving a single scuff mark on the walls. Jimmy even gave us a break on the price, which was fair considering the service we had received and the fact that he was caring for our stuff for an entire month. We will definitely be using A Man with A Van & More again for our future moving needs, and will highly recommend this company to our family and friends!

Initially we chose this company because they were quick with their responses and were ready and willing to work around our hectic and short notice schedule. Also, their price was very reasonable and I felt I could trust the price they quoted. I had also read reviews and said the price they quote is the price you pay, which reviews for other companies were NOT saying and we did not want any expensive surprises. When the movers arrived, they were so professional and efficient. In no time, they had the items protected and packed into the truck. My husband was astounded by how efficient they were in getting everything safely packed and loaded in such a quick manner. The same thing for when they unloaded and placed everything in their place. All in all, the experience was great and we were so glad we chose this company over others. My husband said he had never been so happy to tip a company!

Jimmy and his moving team provided stellar service, were courteous, friendly, worked very hard over three days to pack, unpack, put things together again (only one dish broken!) and worked to make us happy. It went extremely well. They showed up on time with four very competent movers. They had our entire apartment loaded up in an hour and unloaded in the house after another hour and a half. They were very helpful in putting things where they belonged. They were very careful to not hit walls. And they were very friendly, also. They went out of their way to be helpful in any way they could. We highly recommend them and would certainly use them again.

My son-in-law and I waited for 3-1/2hrs, appointment was for 8am 7/16/16 he came at 11:45am .When he did show we told him what was needed to be done and he decided he needed to go and get his truck, that took another half hour; and he did not sweep up anything. The four hours that I purchased was the time he showed up late. I feel that the price is inadequate and I would like a refund of $150. (Reason for rating was because of the lateness, not sweeping up)

This is the 2nd time I used Jimmy' business. The epitome of professionalism and efficiency. Pleased once again and will turn to Jimmy again when I move. Top notch company!

Couldn't ask for more from any businessman!! Jimmy called back within hours of our deciding we needed to move things from the house. Very professional. Always punctual. Even if traffic was heavy and he thought he might be late, he would call to let us know. His team was careful moving things so that neither items or house were damaged. Easy to deal with. The very best!

The men showed up on time in a truck more than adequate. They packed and moved everything quickly and safely. Everything was wrapped professionally and there was no damage to any of the items or walls in my home. The men were courteous and extremely professional. When we got to the storage facility, everything was transported to the unit swiftly and in perfect condition. They packed the storage room better than we could have anticipated We were very pleased with the service. We are also planning on using them when we actually move to our new residence and they are even making an additional stop for us. Another thing they do is donate items that you may not want to programs that help those in need which is a wonderful idea.

They did a great job, it was very short notice, they where on time, work until the job was done, figure out a solution for every problem and made a task we where not looking forward to happen in a matter that exceed our expectation

Jimmy and his staff were amazing. They were 100% professional and very friendly friendly. They quickly (and safely) moved the piano to the exact positioning I needed. I have approx 10 steps in front of my house. The movers were so professional that I didnt worry about on single thing! I would definitely recommend (and use) these guys again!!

I was very pleased with the service and care of furniture. They arrive early and had to wait until 9am (co-op rules) before allowed to commence work. They worked quickly and non stop as to beat Friday afternoon traffic before the long Memorial Day weekend. They were pleasant and a joy to work with. I would use again.

This was by far the easiest move I have ever done. Jimmy and his crew arrived promptly at 7:15 AM and we were completely finished by noon. His crew was extremely polite and hardworking and took great care of my belongings. They were very careful not only packing my furniture, but also moving it from my apartment to their moving truck. There were no scratches, dents, or anything else of that nature in the apartment building for which I could have been fined. I highly recommend Jimmy and his crew for any move you may have.

I found out after unpacking that there were some things missing. The owner was very dismissive, even though he carries insurance. He is totally not responsive. I would like to warn off everyone about allowing them to pack for you. It's theft. I paid $3,500 for them to pack me, and all they did was steal stuff.
