Loved the quote process - they did not require a home visit to estimate, which would have been difficult for us to do. They were prompt on the day of the move and the day of drop off. Everything was handled well and they were all pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

This was by far my smoothest move and I have moved many times in the NYC area. Jimmy is super responsive and he is considerate of your needs while planning the move. For example on the day we originally planned to move there was a gridlock alert in my area due to UN activity so Jimmy proactively helped us secure a new date to ensure we could have a smooth move without sitting for 4 hours in traffic. Additionally the crew is professional and quick -- you can tell they have a system and they get along. My crew showed up with multiple dollies and blankets ready to go -- not like the other guys that have just 1 or 2 dollies without proper planning. These guys mean business and they were so nice too -- told me to relax and not worry about anything. The crew was also great with questions and suggestions. Overall very friendly. I recommend Jimmy and his crew for any move without any reservation. Just the best!!

They provided a quote in a day, and showed up on time. The crew was friendly, courteous and efficient. They did a great job. The next day they delivered our furniture, again showing up on time working quickly and efficiently. In less than two weeks they did everything we asked flawlessly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

All went as smoothly as one could have hoped! Nothing nicked or dented, items placed exactly as planned. At our request, wanting to recycle as much in life as possible, they re-used their clean, marked & dented, boxes & pre-used paper in our own bins, laundry baskets & wicker baskets. Jimmy was prompt in all of his answers to my many questions. The crew was efficient, neat, & safely moved our possessions into & out of a 26' CLEAN truck. They were pleasant, despite the heat & enjoyed working with each other.

The team was prompt, professional and took great care of all of our stuff. The move went off without a problem. The price initially gave me a bit of sticker shock, but I learned long ago that you get what you pay for. That said, Jimmy worked with me even though it was a last minute request, parking was difficult and I underestimated how many boxes needed to be moved. These guys are great and I would definitely use them again in the future!

It went beautifully, with the exception of a hiccup or two which was out of everyone's control: the UN was meeting this week, causing traffic nightmares all over town, and even slowing down traffic getting into the city. So the crew was late and it took a little longer to get to each location, but I really couldn't complain under the circumstances. And they made up for it by being fast, efficient and very careful with everything. Remarkably (at least to me) everything got to the right place! To top it off, the three guys who did the work were very nice and pleasant to work with. Jimmy coordinated it all with finesse, and was very responsive and timely with answers to my questions. To top it off, I was able to arrange this move less than 24 hours before it happened, including getting the COI to the building's management in minutes. Moving is stressful under the best of circumstances but the team made it as seamless as possible.

Outstanding! The crew arrived on time, loaded the truck quickly and with tremendous respect for our items. They arrived at our new place quickly and moved everything in without trouble; not a scuffed wall or damaged item in sight. Furniture was wrapped in plastic and safely covered with moving blankets for transport. The crew made sure that everything was placed exactly where we wanted it..They even took an uncooperative former landlord in stride. Top-level professionalism.

From my first contact with Jimmy Consaga through my last contact with him and his crew, everything was excellent, superlative, reliable, helpful and efficient. I wish all the people whose services I engage would be like Jimmy. When my very elderly aunt died, clearing out her tiny, crowded midtown Manhattan apartment fell to me and my sister. We each live in a different state, and trips to NYC are costly and time-consuming. NY authorities create a lot of time-consuming red tape even for legally-appointed executrixes. And the large management company of my aunt's large apartment building proved to be bureaucratic, roadblock-creating and not helpful. So, it was essential to find a moving company that would reliably do what they said they would do on an agreed-upon date, could efficiently comply with the landlord's paperwork requirements, and could efficiently move the stuff out it with a minimum of interaction with the building's personnel. From my out-of-state home, I found 3 junk hauler companies on Angies list, called to explain the job, and asked for bids. Jimmy called back within an hour, asked me a few questions and had a bid for me within four hours of my call. He also gave me a competitive price. He was willing to do the job on the date I needed, since I had to make a special trip for this. His prior experience with large building management companies helped me to be prepared with an insurance certificate and anything else the landlord might ask for. His insurance agent made it easy for me to get the document I needed, and was at-the-ready to add additional information the landlord might require on the spot. He and his two workers showed up very close to the time we had agreed to (which isn't easy, given NYC traffic). They worked quickly and were pleasant to the building staff they ran into. They were helpful in finding some old family photos we hadn't been able to find in what was a very messed-up, disorganized apartment.

Use. These. Guys. USE THEM! Working with these folks could not...COULD NOT...have gone any smoother or better. Jimmy is responsive, attentive, and most importantly, honest...qualities often hard to come by in Giants fans, especially the latter. Jimmy and his boys moved my personal belongings out of my house and some business items from my office (2 separate moves) into storage, and then moved it all up to my office and house in MA. Has anyone ever had a seamless/flawless move in the history of moving? Cuz I did. In the midst of selling a house, buying a house, relocating a toddler to a new school, and all the other associated headaches of relocating, the last thing I needed was a headache with the moving company. Thank god for Jimmy. The only thing better than Jimmy was his crew. ON TIME with ETAs being texted beforehand! Davey is the chief badass of the crew. He's the man. He and his buddies (Floyd, Juaquin, Carlos, and 1 other I'm forgetting) were so attentive and careful with our belongings. They took such great care with all of our stuff. With all the loading and unloading out of the house, into storage, out of storage, and into the new house, there was bound to be some damage. Nope. Nothing. While unloading at the new house (which they departed NY for at 3 am), just before they were set to leave (at like 4 pm), we couldn't find a shelf to a kitchen island unit. No joke, the guys basically dropped what they were doing to find the shelf, all the while looking very panicked and nervous, as if they were looking for some family heirloom. That's care and passion for your work. The guys were absolute workhorses, even offering to fix a few of our belongings (fridge drawer, bed frame drawer) that were broken long before they even laid eyes on them. What treatment! I'm so relieved that I decided to use Jimmy. Don't hesitate for one second in hiring these guys. It's not even worth shopping around, just talk to Jimmy. Other reviews have said that Jimmy is not the cheapest option out there, and that may be true, but you get what you pay for. With entrusting all your belongings to someone, do you really want the cheapest option? BTW, Jimmy WAS the cheapest option for me, but looking back on it, I'd hire him again no matter what he charges. Thanks, Jimmy. I'll send some avocado ice cream your way. GO PATS! #TB12

When we first reached out to Jimmy, he was very prompt and clear in responding to us. He was courteous and flexible and his price quote was reasonable compared to others we received. We selected Jimmy based on his Angie's List reviews and our conversations with him which assured us he was very knowledgeable and experienced in piano moving and would ensure we were happy with the move. On the day, Jimmy and his crew were on time, worked efficiently and very carefully. They were well-prepared with the right equipment and very helpful and considerate in reassembling and setting up the piano and other furniture. We will gladly use Jimmy for our next move and recommend him to friends.

Jimmy and four guys were caring and competent. Best mover I've used after trying three others in past ten years. Very careful with packing and handling of fragile items. No incidents. Will use them again and give them my highest recommendation.

Jimmy got back to us right away, he was friendly and responsive. He got us an estimate within 4 hours of filling out an online survey about our move. He was able to get us a time slot in less than a week (at the very end of the month). David and his crew of 3 showed up on time, and moved us quickly and efficiently without damaging a single item. They had to deal with two flights of stairs at our apartment and books packed in boxes that were too big (super heavy). The crew was great! The move went smoothly and quickly. We can't recommend them highly enough.

I have moved multiple times but this was the most stemless experience by far. The crew was extremely professional and polite. They put everything together the way I wanted it and where I wanted it.
