A Man With a Van & More!, Inc.

We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. A Man with a Van and More packed us up and moved us and did an excellent job. The new house had a steep driveway and the truck wouldn't quite make it up and it was 90+ degrees outside and it didn't slow them down at all. I didn't hear a single complaint and they were very careful to confirm that everything arrived in the same condition it had been in (which it all did). They were polite and efficient. We were very happy with job they did!

The packers who packed the house up for us were easy and pleasant to work with. They packed everything and all we had to do was clean behind them. I liked that once the process started they worked every day until the truck was unloaded down in PA and the job was done. (Took four days total) No mystery about where our stuff was at. They put everything exactly where we wanted it in the new house. Couldn't be more pleased. We haven't quite finished unpacking yet but so far we haven't found anything that was damaged in any way.

James and team are what you want when moving anything. Good communicating seasoned professionals are what get here. Thanks Jimmy/Team - I love my new piano, even though I don't know how to play it, yet. ~ Matt M.

I initially hired Jim and his crew for rubbish removal, packing and moving our entire house full of “stuff” across town. Little did I expect the sudden “macro-burst” of May 15th to blow down a giant oak tree. It stretched across our lawn and penetrated our roof only days before the scheduled packing and moving. Most roads in the area were blocked by trees and downed power lines. But Jim and his crew proved their ingenuity and mettle by somehow navigating to and from our house by a circuitous route. The crew, with David acting both as foreman and as “A Man with a Saw”, proceeded to cut up the tree and remove it from the roof and from the front of the house where it was blocking our front door. It rained the entire time. (Other local workers, to whom I am also deeply grateful, helped with the roof and downed electrical lead, making temporary repairs to prevent further damage.) The tree removal was completed in another day or so of very hard work. This allowed access to the packers and movers right on schedule, with David again taking the lead. Many other reviewers have praised their packing and moving skills, so I will only say that I can’t rate the great work they did too highly, and give special thanks to David and his family. They truly lived up to the “& More” in the company name, “A MAN WITH A VAN & MORE! INC.”

Beyond expectations! The men were professional and friendly with a can-do attitude. Gave 110% until the job was completed. I highly recommend Jimmy and his crew.

It went extremely well! Jimmy had thought he would split up the packing and moving on separate days, but the day before he notified us that he would be sending a bigger crew and could do it all in one day. Sure enough, we were all moved into our house 11 hours after the movers arrived at the apartment. The movers did a fantastic job with packing up and moving in our belongings and they were all extremely courteous. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

Great. Very responsive, honest and upfront. Unfortunately, my schedule was a bit crazy so we couldn't ultimately work together but, I could instantly tell why he is so in demand.

They were perfectly on time (even a few minutes early), worked carefully and quickly at both ends, and they performed an extra (small) service for my friend at the delivery end. I can't imagine how they could have been better.

Jimmy was very responsive and arranged our move in less than two days. His team was punctual, professional and extremely cautious. We couldn’t have been happier and would recommend A Man with a Van without hesitation! Absolutely great experience.

We had a team of 3, with David as head guy. They were phenomenal - never stopped from 8 am until 8pm to get the job done. They were very careful and wrapped what needed to be protected. The price was fair, and the level of professionalism beyond my expectations. I will always use Jimmy and his team for any move I make in the future.

It went very well. Three men and the owner showed up on time. I t is very hard if not impossible to find a knowledgeable mover to move one or a few items. This company does long distance etc. as well and I would certainly use them again for any type of move.It might seem expensive but this was a made to order wooden bookcase that had molding that matched my previous residence and cost much more than the move.The move from the storage facility to the house was approximately20 minutes.

Jimmy is professional and a straight shooter. His guys arrived in a very clean (important to me) van, they were professional, polite, cleanly dressed, and most important they knew what they were doing. Turns out my stairway was very narrow for the couches but they knew exactly what to do and got the job done. They handled my furniture and home with care. It's nice to know that some people still care about doing a job right and taking care of the details. "Moving Anywhere" is not cheap but they are the real deal. You get what you pay for. A real bonus is that they don't show up reeking of cologne or after shave, but again these guys are pros. In short, I was very impressed and am already booking them again for another job.

We used Man with a Van (James Consaga) to move my daugther, a medical student from one student apartment to another nearby. I had an excellent experience - good communication up front and a clear process on their web site for determining the price. The day of the move was the day that the recent northeaster hit with rain and extremely high winds (40 mph +). The crew wrapped everything in pads and plastic and transported it from building to building on dollies in the midst of a serious weather event. No problems or damage. The crew leader was very helpful and actually made some adjustments to an IKEA bed that he disassembled to prevent future problems. These guys knew what they were doing. I did give 4 stars on price as it was a bit more expensive than I anticipated but in the end well worth it.

The moving team was amazing and super helpful in every way. Courteous, professional, super hard-working. I highly recommend!!!

The pick up and delivery went well. Customers were happy with the service and all went on time. If we require a similar service in this area again I will definitely be talking to James.

Three man team showed up and did a great job. Moved a very difficult treadmill and 3 seater couch to basement for me. Would definitely hire them again. They were in and out in approximately 30min - 1 hour.

Excellent. Team was very prompt, professional and particular. They came a day early to wrap and secure everything prior to the move. The move itself went very smoothly. Team was punctual and treated our property with care and respect. Nothing was broken or scratched in the process. In addition, the move was completed on time. Would definitely recommend this company based on the experience we had. They are also just really good people which ads to our overall approval.

Packers were very professional. Showed up on time and went to work immediately. Packed the whole kitchen in about 1/2 a day and moved boxes into my living room where they stayed during the kitchen remodeling project. Professionally wrapped all my items. Nothing was broken or lost. When kitchen project was complete, packers came back to my house to move a heavy maple hutch back into the kitchen as well as move a table and two chairs and all remaining boxes (which I had not unpacked yet) from the living room back into the kitchen. I was very pleased with the work. The firm, A Man With A Van and More, was very easy to work with. Scheduling was simple and not complicated. Very accomodating to my schedule. Would definitely hire again.

Amazing- called Jimmy late afternoon on Friday and his driver/team were on their way by 4 am Saturday. Not only were they punctual and professional, they picked up in Virginia, dropped off first 1/2 of shipment in Connecticut by 6:30 and the remainder of shipment was dropped off in New Hampshire by 10:30 that same day. I've hired them before as has my sister-in-law (several times) and have never been disappointed!

The crew of A Man with a Van & more were prompt, courteous, efficient and moved my furnishings, books and papers expeditiously and safely. Highly recommend Jim and co.
