These guys are pros. They kept my informed as to when the previous job ended so I didn't have to wait, they showed up when thy said, and moved my piano carefully.

From the beginning I knew I was dealing w a real professional. Jimmy was responsive, clear about the cost. He couldn’t have been more responsive w the many questions I had re the move. The preparation and move itself was flawless. Jimmys crew ,especially Dave (who is the best I’ve ever dealt with) were so organized and careful with all of my things. I have a lot of antique furniture and fragile things` -everything was handled and delivered w such care. They arrived in Vermont on time, and the move in was without a hitch Each one of the crew was careful and efficient. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated the smoothness of the whole thing. Jimmy responded very quickly with a quote and worked us into a busy schedule. They picked up a piano for us on Tuesday on short notice and held it overnight until we could be on hand to receive it. Very professional and responsive. Would definitely use again.

Man with a Van did the pick up of my stored items at the storage facility without me having to be there. They arrived earlier than expected and worked very hard and fast while always being friendly and pleasant to work with.

I've use them 3 times now. They moved my things into storage when I was between homes and then from storage into my new home. This last move they moved my mother-in-laws vintage 1950 bedroom set to my home from storage. Very professional. They treat each piece as carefully as they would their own. Everything is wrapped and protected with care.

They came to our place on time. Were courteous and polite. They even took out some of our unwanted furniture and an old AC. They made it to our new place on time and even took the boxes we finished using. I will use them again for my next move!

Jimmy and his excellent crew, led by David, did an amazing job! They arrived on time, took care to prepare everything properly, were observant and thoughtful, always polite and pleasant, worked efficiently, and cleaned up as they went. Jimmy's team was very industrious and professional during a difficult move. Both locations had difficulties with navigating narrow stairways and maneuvering around obstructions with the moving van and it rained for half the move-in, but the movers tackled each problem with a positive, can-do attitude. They rebuilt everything they had to take apart, and the foreman even fixed one of our wonky pieces of furniture! Jimmy works with binding estimates, as well -- he tells you exactly what it's going to cost, and it cost just that. Excellent experience!

Far better than expected . Crew was highly skilled, professional, polite, expert, strong, gentle. Great care taken with fragile heirlooms and heavy furniture in tight spaces. Always had good spirits and politeness. Made the high stress a non issue and conveyed a sense of calm and can-do.

What a great crew of guys. They never stopped working. It was so very hot out, I don't know how they did it, but they did in record time. They left the site spotless. They were professional in every way. I would have they back again to do any job for me.

Excellent overall. Jimmy and his guys showed up on time, 8AM and wasted no time. Every item that could be damaged or dirtied, was handled with care and wrapped in padding. The new place has new floors and they eercised extreme caution and care plasing blankets under every piece of furniture. Extremely hard working and super nice guys. Would, without a doubt, recommend them to friends and family or use them myself again.

Fantastic! Jimmy and his team were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and punctual. They even started and finished ahead of schedule due to a large and well coordinated team, working long hours but with a lovely attitude and a true commitment to a quality job. I had worked with them before on a smaller job and was confident this larger one would work well and it did. I highly recommend them!

Jimmy and his crew were excellent! They even came the day before to start loading the truck, which actually helped us out a lot to get some out of the way in advance and let us know anything that could be an issue, so we had time to resolve. There were absolutely no overages (besides a $100 charge to take apart and put back together a treadmill, which was more than warranted and was optional for us). I would highly recommend Jimmy and his crew. They worked so **** ** two 80+ degree and humid days, were extremely careful and nice, wrapped all furniture meticulously... moving is incredibly stressful and they did it with ease and relieved stress that was worth whatever premium you would pay them vs. just going with the cheapest mover.

A Man with a Van and More moved us over 1,000 including a stop to drop furniture off to our daughter midway. Everything went according to plan without a hitch. All of the personnel were highly personable and professional. My wife and I enthusiastically recommend them for any household move. Their very high ratings are well deserved. I have nothing but praise for Jimmy and his team.

Jimmy and the men that work with him were very professional, organized and trustworthy. They accommodated our need to move our home and business at the same time and worked around our schedule. We appreciated their flexibility, but moreover, how experienced, polite and professional they did their job. Selling, buying and moving can be very stressful, it meant a lot to have a great mover to work with during that time.

Fantastic job. As little stress as a move can be. Job was well- planned, with the movers coming prior to the move to wrap and otherwise protect our belonging, and to stage them in most efficient way. Workers were very careful with our stuff and treated it as well as their own. They worked well -- and very hard -- with us and with each other as a team. Courteous and very professional. That might be in part due to the owner treating his workers well themselves. The owner's schedule is normally loaded -- they have more job requests than they can handle, but he ensures that the jobs are well done by not taking more jobs than he can adequately staff. Stress was further reduced by the additional services this mover provides -- trash removal (extra charge) and taking good furniture for charitable donation and dropping it off at the charity (no extra charge). So we were able to handle several tasks through one provider, in one shot. Another way they reduced our stress was by giving us a (fair) flat rate, rather than charging us by the pound or hour. So, unlike some other movers, they charged what they said they would charge -- no surprises. We wanted our belongings put in storage, pending closing on our new home. They do not have their own storage facility, but helped us get a good third party storage facility, and saved us on the storage charges. They bring a lot of jobs to Westy storage, which leads to them having a good working relationship. Through that connection, they found about the cheaper rates available at a Westy location we were not aware of. In addition, when they found that we needed more space than anticipated, they selected a combination of bins that saved us about $200 a month, even though this required them to do a lot more work in loading the bins. Had they not alerted us to the cheaper approach, we would not have know that it was a beneficial option. We definitely made the right move in hiring a Man with a Van and More. We are going to use them again when we move our belonging out of storage and into our new home

I could not have been happier. A crew of 9 friendly, efficient and fast movers did my entire job in one day. Packed, loaded truck and un loaded truck. They handled my Steinway with care. Owner Jim is super responsive to specific requests and concerns. David, the team leader and professional piano mover was a pleasure to work with I felt that the entire team genuinely cared. It was actually an enjoyable experience, I will absolutely use them again in the future. A few items were inadvertently packed onto the truck and Jim brought them back to me the following day.

These guys are amazing! On time, very professional. The owner, Jimmy, is great and so are his employees, Davey and Joachim. They were hard working and went the extra step for me. My sofa and an armoire were far too large to get in....they tried everything. Even went in rear to try to get them in. They felt bad for me so they took the sofa to a friend's house, nearaby for storage and transported the armoire to a center in Westchester for donation. The did not charge for this extra trouble. They are not cheap....but you get what you pay for. Hire them!

Excellent! The company was very responsive throughout the process. The movers were efficient, friendly and helpful. They performed a brief (pre-existing) repair job on the couch after the move at no additional cost. I would definitely hire this company again for in-house and larger moves.
