I called these folks 3 times over a two week period to visit my house and give me an estimate. They told me they could only stop by at the time that I was out of town and that is OK but they never did. I never got my estimate but I did get a call a week later after I had another company take down the tree. I recommend Marsh's Tree Service at 716-386-7642. These are a bunch of young guys who work hard and do a great job. They did exactly what I requested and cleaned up afterwards.
Description of Work: I requested an estimate to cut down a 35 foot dead pine tree and haul it away before it fell on my neighbor's house.

Unfortunately I do not remember this particular individual but I will say that we try to always get back to someone as quickly as possible with a phone call and then to look at their work. That being said there are times when we are working at the other end of the county and it is difficult to see something right away. Also we try to look at work whenever possible with the customer asking for the estimate. That way there is little chance of miss communication as to what work is to be done. There are also times when we have emergency work that may take priority over something else. We have been in business for over 20 years and we have always worked hard to provide fast professional service for our customers. Hopefully we are rated on the work that we do and not for a phone call that came a little late.

My initial call was responded to within 24 hours. Estimate was fair. Work was done on the promised day, quickly and efficiently. Great Lakes has removed trees and trimmed up others for me before. Never had a problem with them and Dave & his workers are always friendly and professional.
Description of Work: Tree limb broke off large tree at the back of our yard, was hanging by about 6 inches of bark/wood. Wasn't a "dangerous" situation, but was hazardous. Great Lakes removed the limb and another dead limb that could have come down with the next bad snow or wind storm.

A high wind thunder & lightning storm broke off a huge branch of a box elder tree in my backyard. Mr. Matthews came over right away after I called to look at it and give me an estimate, and then his crew took down the tree very quickly for a fair price in the midst of very high demand.
Description of Work: The company took down an overgrown box elder tree, and ground out the roots.
