Description of Work: Took off 2 layers of old roof, put up new GAF roof and roof electric vent. Cleaned up after job completed. Excellent work, after about two or three years no leaks , fan still works, And I believe work was done before hurricane Sandy (House is in North Massapequa). My review was given shortly after roof went up so you can check the exact date and cost which I recall was a good price.

Description of Work: John Goess is a pros-pro and knows the roofing business better than most. Like me, he's a member of our local Chamber of Commerce, so that gave him the edge over others that gave estimates. He wasn't the cheapest--but his price was in the ballpark. John and his team worked quickly, efficiently and professionally. It absolutely poured two days after the job and my once-leaky roof had zero leaks. | |Only one minor issue (and I spoke to John about this), is that I thought the clean-up could have been better. By sending someone "once around the property" at the end of the project, he would have picked up quite a bit of debris. I don't doubt they carted off a lot to begin with, but John said that some of the stuff ended up in the bushes which made it hard for his guys to get at. Fair enough, however I fail to understand how that responsibility became mine. | |Important note: The "minor" clean-up issue should not prevent you from hiring John Goess Roofing. Just make sure you have an understanding about the clean-up before you move forward with the project.

Description of Work: roof on house including all plywood, all clean-up and dumpster removal, high quality roofing. I have used him on two houses and highly recommend!

Description of Work: We had a roof leak in an upstairs bathroom. We had two other estimates for repairs, which both included replacing the rear half of the roof. John Goess caulked where he believed the leak to be, charged us nothing for 1/2 hour of his time, and so far all is ok. We will definitely call him when we need to do the roof replacement!

Description of Work: Called the company two times to have an estimate done for a complete new roof house and garage. Very nice on the phone salesperson never showed for estimate and never called

Description of Work: We asked for the estimate and guy was professional. Unfortunately we did not give him contract because we had to go through somebody else's recommedation. But I felt John was very good

Description of Work: Excellent work, He took off old roof and replaced with GAF. This was about 5 years ago. No problems since. Note, I live in North Massapequa and not one piece came off the roof during hurricane Sandy, About six months after completion of the roof I did have a question and John got right back to me. We need more companies like "John Goess Roofing".

Description of Work: John arrived at my home within one hour after calling him for an estimate. Price agreed upon. Work performed within a couple of days from the estimate and was finished in one day. Excellent work, house and one-car garage. Cleanup was adequate but could have been a little better - it was a very windy day so some of the debris landed around and under my flowers. No big deal & my only very minor complaint.

Description of Work: Roof stripped down to bare wood. Protective sheeting applied. New Shingles installed. Old Roof TV antena removed. Gutters cleaned and tightened. Service was prompt, efficient, thorough. No debris was left behind. I was very pleased and recommend this company highly.
