concrete repair, concrete driveways
+ 0 moreThe work was started and completed in a timely fashion. However, the concrete used was extremely poor quality and/or needed to be sealed. The sidewalk and driveway are peeling and crumbling. When I contacted the company, I was told that I must have been the one to cause the damage with something like rock salt. It is obvious from the photos below that the magnitude of this deterioration was not caused by some rock salt (which was not put down at all in the first year after installation).

+ -1 moreThe owner, Freddi, was very professional, listened to me throughout the whole project, and treated me with respect. He related my wishes to his crew without hesitation. The work progress was steady. The team was always focused on their work. I must say I appreciated having them do the work. I have had contractors do work at my home years ago. I hesitated to hire another one. I was pleased on the outcome. Thank you F.V. Contracting.
Description of Work: His team took out old cement in driveway and walkway. Also took away all unwanted debris Rebuilt 2 stoops with better quality bricks and stone. Redesigned walkways. Installed Cambridge pavers to form a 20 foot wide driveway and paths and widened apron. They had a cement truck deliver quality cement mix used for the sidewalks.The owner also recommended a couple of refinements of which I highly approved. The project took 6 consecutive days. The owner was a team leader throughout. He conversed with me at every step of the project.
