Clearview Tree & Land Corp.

The crew arrived early (by 7:15) for my 7:30 appointment. The removal and clean up was done in less than 30 minutes. They were fast, professional and extremely serious about their work while also being very cheerful. They only accept cash or checks. Total job for the removal of a mature tree and a semi-mature overgrown weed was $800 plus tax. I would definitely hire them again and recommended them to friends.

Called for a quote for 2 trees and some bushes to be removed including stump grinding. Someone came by and left an estimate in my mailbox the next day. Awesome. Price was in the range of others (not the lowest quote we received) but they told me they could do it all in one day. Signed the estimate and sent it back. They said they would be there on Wednesday, June 21 with all work completed that day. The trees were down by 9:15am - amazing! At 3pm I received a call that the stump grinders were not going to be there until the next day but would come first thing Thursday. No problem. Thursday they did not show up. After multiple calls they finally told us that the grinder had broke but that they would come first thing Friday morning. How are you coming Friday if your machine doesn't work? They didn't show up Friday either. Multiple calls and messages and it is now Monday June 26 at 10am and we have still not received a single call back and they have not shown up. I had concrete work scheduled that had to be postponed and I am not happy.

They were very good. They had really great price. They shut down in the winter so I would probably use them in the spring. The guy was really awesome. He was easy to communicate with. He came out with no problem. We would use them. They were easy to talk to. They gave us an excellent fair price. It was a pretty good price. They were great.

They were very efficient and thorough. They spent the entire day cleaning up and getting all of the debris picked up. It was a very big tree. The tree fell on top of my car, garage and fence. It was a huge mess and I am glad Clearview Tree & Land Corp. were able to do such a thorough efficient clean up.

Went well. Only problem I had was trying to pay them the cash. Our time schedules weren't coinciding.

I met The owner, Oscar, a couple of times. He is so down to earth. He is very nice. His Arboist helped us with the Permit for tree removals for our Village. As soon as we received the permit, he made an appointment for me for the next morning at 8A. The boys were already outside of my house before 7:30A to get to work! I was lucky to have 7 professionals helping me with my mess. They took down 7+ trees, grinded all stumps, cleaned out the excess bush mess, removed most vines on other trees. They were amazing. I plan to work with Oscar again since my home is a pretty big project. We definitely have more trees to deal with. He is a well-rounded guy. Though his landscaper is always MIA. I can barely get him to come here to talk about landscaping and give me an appropriate proposal and estimate. You would think he would put the effort to have me as his customer...i would call him every couple of days! You would think its the other way around. Anyways, I gave us on the guy and been looking for other landscapers. I wanted to work with this landscaper just because i really liked Oscar but its all good...i'll work with him on my other projects. I know in the future if you want to feed the boys, they only like Spanish food and coke, LOL!

Don't be fooled by their customer service. I thought it's a professional company when I initially contacted them, and it's certainly not. I have been looking for a company to remove a tree. I accepted this company's proposal, and scheduled an appointment. they said that they will confirm with me the exact time window before the service day, but I didn't get any call and ended up with calling them in order to get the time window. On the supposed service day, nobody came, and I needed to call them again and I got an answer saying that their service car was broken. Even if that was true, they certainly could have contacted me proactively instead of keeping me waiting forever. I decided to cancel the transaction.

The job itself went ok. My only complaint was that I was given a window of 1 to 3 pm for them to arrive. At 3:10 they still weren't here so I called the office. I was informed that the crew was stuck in traffic and would be about another 1/2 hour. I told the woman that if they knew they were going to be late, someone should have called me. I can understand if they are delayed by traffic or a previous job running late but they should have just called to let me know. That way they could have avoided this complaint.

Clearview was responsive, by far the most inexpensive, fast and professional. A team of guys worked together to bring down a large tree that was shading my, and my neighbor's, yard. It was growing in a dangerous way, as well as the Mulberry next to it. The guys were very tidy, and respectful. I was really amazed at how quickly they cut down the tree and managed to avoid the cable and phone wires that were now surrounded by the branches. During the process I realized that the remaining tree was shading my neighbor and we quickly negotiated a price so they could trim back some large branches from the second tree as well. The experience and flexibility of the men doing the work was evident and they left the path, yard and sidewalk where they had to remove a huge amount of branches and leaves cleaner than when they arrived. An excellent job, and nice people.

Orlando called me the day after I left a 9pm message. He was able to come by and give me an estimate the next day. His crew was on time, courteous, extremely professional and efficient. The trees removed had to be brought in through my entire apartment. The put paper on the floors and walls and not a thing was damaged. Would call them again in a heartbeat.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE...After a very long day at work I am sitting down to write a review because of how outraged I am at the unprofessionalism of this company. A couple of weeks ago I spent about 30 minutes walking around my property and showing Richard in detail which trees I needed taken down. After an extensive detailed conversation I was given a written quote of $6000. The job would take approximately 2 full days to complete. In addition, I sent him to my neighbors house to price out a job. For two days he stood to make approx. $7500. Richard was very helpful and went across the street to my village hall and spoke with our village arborist. He did a walk thru with them about a week later to make sure we would have no problems getting a permit. All sounds fantastic so far... HERE COMES THE OUTRAGEOUS PART...Richard's crew comes to our house today to start the job. Orlando, the foreman decides that Richard underestimated the job and refuses to work unless we pay an additional $4000. Richard calls my husband at work and tries to get him to agree to pay the additional money. My husband, as anyone in their right mind would do, does not agree and tells the men not to proceed with the job. Orlando decides that he is going to try to talk with my husband and renegotiate the deal again by lowering his original amount of $4000 that he was trying to get out of us. Of course we do not agree. This gets even better. My husband comes home to find that when Orlando and his crew went to my neighbors house they drove on part of our sidewalk and broke a main water line to our house. The village had to come today and thank goodness repaired the water line immediately at the cost of Clearview Tree & Land Corp. All in all not only did they lose our business, but they also lost a lot more money because they now will be billed for the damage they caused. SHAME ON YOU CLEARVIEW. YOU ARE A DISHONEST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS that does not deserve to work in our village.

Great! They were careful with my property and my neighbor's property, prompt and did exactly what they said they would do in written contract. Office staff accommodated by sending receipt electronically.

This was the second time we had this company come out. The first time they guranteed that by trimming back a tree it would solve our problems (thousands of mulberries being dropped in our yard). We paid almost $1000 to have the tree trimmed back only 2 months later to have the exact same problem. They also didn't trim as far back as they intiially claimed they would. I had to make numerous calls to the company to get them to come back out and to agree to finish the job (removing the tree) for the price of an addditional $1000. Well they came on Friday and did a fine job removing the tree. My neighbor and I were splitting the cost however and therefore I handed them $500 for my half, plus $100 in tip. When they went to collect from my neighbor they claimed I only paid $300. THen when she threatened to call me they and quot;foundand quot; an additional $200. Notice no mention of the $100 tip. Completely unprofessional. i had numerous issues with this company and although they may seem cheaper, they will steal money from you in the end. Go with someone better.

Provider came and provided a thorough and thoughtful estimate. On the day of the removal, his crew showed up on time and removed the tree quickly and professionally. They did everything they promised and kept the house clean, which was difficult given that they had to carry the branches through it. The tree was located in the corner of the yard, abutting three neighbors properties. The Clearview team took it down without disturbing the neighbors yards at all. I'd hire these guys again for sure.

The guys that came to cut down the tree and grind the stumps were extremely quick and clean. They got the job done without making a mess or causing any damage to the property surrounding the work area. Only issue was with the scheduling department, who I had to call 4 times to get my appointments set up and to get information out of. However, I'm willing to deal with that, due to the excellent work and professionalism of the actual laborers and Oscar (the guy who gives the estimate).

Best price of 5 different quotes by an order of magnitude. Teams were super efficient and quick from estimate to tree cutting to stump grinding. The entire process was a pleasure and these guys are true pros with no damage. I would highly recommend them as your first and only call if you need to have trees removed. They have the right people, equipment and attitude.

I called last Monday morning to schedule an estimate and informed them that a large branch was dangling from a tree and was potentially dangerous. They told me they could get an estimator over in the afternoon. Great. I said we'd make sure someone was home. 20 minutes later the estimator called and said he'd be there in 10 minutes. I informed he that no one would be home, but he said that wasn't a problem. He would just take a look and leave the estimate in the mailbox. Fine. The estimate was $250 which was reasonable but because we were not home, we were unable to discuss whether more pruning was needed. I called to schedule, and was told they could come back later Monday afternoon. Fantastic. Except they didn't show. I called again on Tuesday and they apologized for the misunderstanding and said the scheduler would call back later. They didn't. I called again for the next few days with no response. I had begun to look for another provider when they called and said they could come Monday. OK. I just wanted the branch gone. The appointment was scheduled for 12:00-3:00, but at 11:00 the door bell rang. Which would be no problem except they didn't call to say they'd be early. My wife was in the basement doing laundry so it took a minute for her to answer the door, but they gave her attitude for having to wait at the door. The crew leader was completely unprofessional, particularly about discussing the payment, and also insisted the check be made out to cash. In the end they removed the branch, and the work was done neatly and quickly, but I do not intend to use this company again.

The men were punctual, professional and responsive to my needs. My basement was recently painted as was my driveway. They were very thorough and careful. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Great job Clearview!!

I hired Clearview Tree Service to cut a very large tree down. I was extremely happy and pleased with their work. They matched two previous prices that I received. The crew was very professional and they really knew how to work very well together. I would highly recommend them and I am very meticulous when it comes to having work done. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would recommend them a 10.

We had three trees that had really become overgrown and searched out a company that could help us trim branches and remove the waste. The folks at Clearview Tree and Land where the most professional people we called. They returned our call promptly (a pet peeve of ours) and had a representative come out and look at the job. The price they quoted was $300, which we thought was very fair for the amount of work that had to be done. They showed up on time and came with a whole team of workers. They followed our directions and helped make valuable suggestions. When they finished, they cleaned up everything like they were never there. I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of their service and would highly recommend them.

Overall it was a good experience. Had some trouble with the scheduling but the guys themselves who did the work were great. Very efficient, professional, and quick. Also I had 4 different companies come out for quotes and Clearview was by far the cheapest. Great rate and great work!

Someone showed on-time for the estimate, and I ended up hiring him on the spot - the price was good, and I had read positive reviews. We scheduled the service for the following week, but I got a call later that day saying they could do it tomorrow. Of course, I agreed. Jose ran the show and they cleared everything within an hour or so. Most of the laborers left after the trees were removed and two individuals stayed with the stump grinder. I did not notice until the following week, but they missed three stumps that were supposed to be removed. I should have checked their work more closely, but I cannot give them an A given they did not actually complete the job. I had someone else doing some work when I realized the stumps were not removed and they offered to grind them out for me - crisis adverted.

They were very professional and reliable. Someone came by for an estimate, provided me a much cheaper quote than other companies. I scheduled an appt, and they came on time, and finished the job in less than an hour! The area was completely clean as well... they are fast, efficient and professional.

We hired Clearview to remove many large fallen trees and branches from and quot;Superstorm Sandyand quot;. Oscar visited our property and provided us with his professional suggestions and a competitive proposal. After we agreed to have them do the work, it was performed promptly and very well. Their workmen were efficient and careful. Alison, on their office staff, was always very responsive if we had any follow-up questions. It was a pleasure to work with Clearview, and we highly recommend them.

On the day of the service, Jose was the foreman and he led a crew of 8 men who arrived 10 minutes earlier than the 8am appointment time and he worked diligently and tirelessly to cut down and remove all 5 trees on the same day. Jose was a very experienced climber and tree cutter and his men looked up to him as a leader and for guidance. A different crew of 2 men came later in the day to grind the stumps. The crew worked well with each other and shared the same objective to get the work done as quickly and safely as possible. Each crew cleaned up the area where the work was performed and each crew member performed their role happily and with professionalism. I would recommend Clearview to my neighbors and family members who need tree services done right and at a reasonable price. In fact, I've recommended Clearview to my aunt who lives in Flushing, NY, who will contact Clearview sometime this week for an estimate to remove trees from her property.
