Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

I have used Roto Rooter many times and they are always great. They give you a call 30 minutes before they arrive, are always professional and clean up afterwards. Today Bob Warham (who I requested) installed a new kitchen faucet. He did a great job as always. Reasonable price. I highly recommend Roto Rooter and Bob.

Rough- misquoted on amount of time twice. The job took far longer than told. The workers were nice but did damage to some of the property. Damaged the wood threshold- told the supervisor which he acknowledged and never did anything about. Also found damage after they were done, never bothered to call them as we did not want to continue to deal with them. The cost of service seemed extremely high. On a positive note the plumber who initially came out to deal with the blockage was fantastic. Would absolutely use him anytime. Only reason this rating went from a fail to a C.

Young man named David S actually called 2 hours ahead of scheduled appointment asking for permission to come ahead of time. He assessed what he was up against and contacted me to seek the oaky to perform this job. I confirmed

Called roto-rooter and had someone came over to look at leak in ceiling. Bob came and took care of the problem was very quickly. He was very friendly and professional. He checked the problem and quickly diagnosed it. The whole process took about an hour. I am very happy with his service and professionalism. Thank you!

Very well. The service man Joe Rutkowski really knew what he was doing. He had to find the vent in the lawn under the dirt, Gave good explanation of the problem. He was very personable. I was Impressed with his people skills.

I was not happy with the inside job, but I had to call them back. He sort of fixed the problem, but I still have the problem, and I can't use the water there. The second time he came back, he only replaced some real thin tubing that supply the hot water and the cold water. He changed once one side, and he did not replace the other handle. So I called and asked why he didn't replace both handles, and he had to come back. I had to call another plumber. I have to call them back to level the ground. It is sticking up a little bit. If I have to have them come back three times, then I have to have them back 3 times.

The master plumber and his apprentice were very professional and friendly. They came and performed the main pipe replacement work, and went out of their way to fix an additional issue with the angle of the half-bath sewage pipe going into the main sewer line. They also replaced a temporary zip-tie pipe hanging work done by the previous owner with sturdier fixtures at no additional cost. It was roto-rooter so the price wasn't rock bottom, but I was willing to pay the premium to ensure that there were going to be no additional issues with the sale of the house.

They contacted me quickly but it was a while until the guy arrived. Turns out the bolt was loose. $115 to tighten a bolt. Tech was lets say "odd". I asked on the phone if I needed to provide a print out of the Angie's list payment and was told "no". Tech asked me for it, said girl I talked didn't know what she was talking about. I went to my PC to print it out and he followed me then stood behind me while I printed it out. Weird.

Good. Technician was punctual and very nice. Did his job well and was done quickly. Explained what he was going to do and what happened after he finished.

Tom showed up on time and was extremely professional. He clearly explained the quote and once I agreed, quickly performed the service. Top notch and did I mention he was here about 40 minutes after calling? And on a weekend? Outstanding!

I called early morning Friday and tech was on site a couple hours later. He was professional and fixed the issue in a timely manner. No problems since the fix.

Gary was on-time and knowledgable about the issue. After a quick diagnosis he snaked the line from the kitchen drain that was backing up into a basement drain and causing sitting, smelly water. Gary also gave good advice on my kitchen drain trap, which I was concerned about and the exterior downspouts that were draining into underground pipes headed to the sewer line. Great, efficient service I highly recommend.

It took a while to diagnose the problem, but the provider was patient and thorough and work with us to find the pipe. Once the pipe was found he repaired the pipe and cleaned up the area the best he could. He was responsive, polite, and professional!

It went very well. The repair man was efficient and very communicative throughout the repair.

From the outset, I was impressed with how quickly Roto-Rooter initiated contact to schedule plumbing service for our newly purchased home. Within 11 minutes after purchasing the $75-credit-for-$25 "Big Deal," I received a message requesting my telephone number which I had inadvertently neglected to provide. After I replied with my number, I received a call within the matter of an hour or so (at most) to schedule service. The scheduler was extremely polite and accommodating in scheduling service the next day, given the fact that we could not use our kitchen sink, dishwasher, or our washing machine in their respective then-current states of disrepair. Within the appointed frame (and after alerting us by phone in advance), Gary and his trainee/assistant, Dave, arrived at our new house to survey the plumbing problems we had listed in our message to Roto-Rooter. After some discussion and advice, they returned within the designated time frame the following day to do the repairs and faucet installation. During both visits, both Gary and Dave could not have been more courteous, professional, and accommodating. Because we had just moved in, there were boxes everywhere, and Dave moved several in the kitchen, without complaint, in order to access under the sink. Gary showed us what the issues were, explained what needed to be done, and what they were doing every step of the way. In fact, we were only charged for parts for repairing the newly discovered leaks. At one point, Gary had asked for a towel to wipe up a leak from the washing machine connection; when it became rather dirty, he kindly offered to have it laundered and returned to us later on. (I have no doubt that towel will be clean and on its way back to us.) Both were especially polite and kind to my 95 year-old mother, which I truly appreciated. We chose to purchase Roto-Rooter's "Big Deal" and to engage the company for these repairs because we had used Roto-Rooter in the past and had always been pleased with the service. We had previously tried another plumber who came recommended from Angie's List, with whom we were most disappointed. Roto-Rooter and its representatives have proved themselves once again to be reliable, dependable, and thoroughly professional, and will continue to be our go-to plumbers should any other issues arise in the future.

The plumber was on time, professional, courteous, neat and did an excellent job. He did not try to make me do work that was not needed. The price seemed very reasonable for all the work performed and materials used. He even did everything possible to save the wall surround so I would not have to replace it! This is now my "go to" plumber company and I highly recommend.

Frank removed the clog and he cleaned up under the sink for me. I really liked him and I will ask for him again the next time it happens.

I first used Roto Rooter services in October when I had a whole house water filter installed on my water line from my well. The plumber, Jason V., did an outstanding professional job. I had him install two toilets in November and most recently I had him install the new kitchen sink faucets. I find the job to be extremely well done. The serviceman was amicable, professional and most knowledgeable. He did a great job on each occasion. I am a do-it-yourselfer and I believe if you want something done right you do it yourself. This time, however, I pleasantly discovered I was wrong. The Roto Rooter plumber, Jason V, was simply outstanding in every respect and went out of his way to make sure the job(s) got done right the first time which is why I continue to use his services and that of Roto Rooter. In addition, scheduling appointments was simple and easy - either online or by phone. It was a great experience all the way around.

Got it partially opened but only to 18 ft. from drain pipe. Drain will need camera inspection I'll do at another time.

Sewage was backing up into my basement tub. Called a plumber about three weeks prior and they cleared the drain. After tubs starting filling up again, I was not calling the other plumber. They wanted 2800.00 to replace the pipes from house. Just a few years prior they replaced the pipes from sidewalk to street. Stating that was our problem. I used a special coupon an Angie's list. They came out, gentlemen was very pleasant. Totally snaked my entire line. This was just over a year ago, and no issues to date

Excellent experience overall. The dispatcher calls ahead of time to tell you when the technician is on their way which is helpful. In this case they asked if the technician could come early, which is certainly better than late! The technician, Jim M., was wonderful. He was professional and friendly. He explained to me as much, or as little as I would like to hear. I was very interested in watching the job progress and he had no problem with me over his shoulder, so I could be informed with the equipment (new experience for me). The job appears to have been done well, the parts are good quality, and I do not believe that they cut corners, in fact there are company policies that prevent them from such a thing. Afterwards Jim walked me through everything that was done, and how to use the products should I need to repair in the future. He even installed a drain spout so that any sump release from the back-up wouldn't ruin my grass. All in all, a pleasure to work with, both the office staff and the technicians. I am happy with the service and would definitely call them in the future for any more plumbing work!

Great, my tech gave good advice regarding the faucet I bought and even went to a hardware store to buy an extra part. Additionally he cut my toilet bolts and replaced their covers, a job let undone by previous plumber.

Jim M. arrived earlier than expected. He was very professional. He snaked the toilet but wasn't getting the results he wanted. I decided to replace the toilet then and there. He went out to pick-up the new toilet and came right back to install it. He was quick and efficient. He gave me some tips and made sure everything was working correctly. I asked him about another problem I was having with backwash from the sump pump in the basement. He checked it out and gave me options of what could be done and when it would be best to do it. Once I had decided, he made the arrangements and gave me the quote. The sump pump problem is going to be taken care of by two of his co-workers on Saturday. I sure couldn't ask for more. I will call Roto Rooter again and I will request Jim if he is available.

Our basement sink if really old and it clogged with washing machine debris among other things that couldn't be cleared with chemicals or my sink auger. Roto Rooter sent someone out right away and they were able to unclog my sink within a half an hour. Afterwards, the plumber sent gave me a quote for taking out the old sinks and installing a new one. The only minor complaint is that there was some clean up after the work.
