Once they got started the job was done in 10 work days, just as quoted. I am thrilled that they could straighten my garage and it looks great. I am so happy with everything. And also thrilled with how the ceiling of the carport turned out.

I enjoyed working with Mr. Allen. I've recently dealt with a number of contractors who don't return calls, don't want to be bothered with your job, or don't show up when they say they will. Mr. Allen seemed genuinely focussed on providing good quality service. The whole process maybe took a bit longer and cost a little more than I had expected, but they did a quality job and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.

We set everything up through email. The company was on the job at the date & time agreed upon and everything was completed in the quoted estimated time. Both gentlemen were professional & courteous at all times. Not only did the contractor replace the shingles , but he also inspected the rest of the roof and let me know what to watch for in the future. D. Allen & Sons Contracting was a pleasure to work with from start to finish & I would definitely use them again.

The salesman was very organized and professional. He didn't just quote the job, he had a binder of options and talk about quality and cost. They were a little higher on price and they weren't very clear on their start date, but the quality and service made it all worth it. The crew stayed at task the whole time, they worked until the job was finished. My garage and house look beautiful because of their work. If your are looking to have any house work done involve this company and let them quote the job, it worth it. If you do decide to go with them, you won't regret it. Great communication from the moment we set the appointment for the estimate until the job was complete. The siding crew did an amazing job and went over everything with us as they were working. It was a free estimate. They gave me two different options of ways to go and he actually, I basically asked him whether I needed a new roof . He suggested that he could either do repairs, he gave me a round figure for that and also, I asked him to give me an estimate for a complete tear off and he gave me that. But he suggested that a repair one was all I needed.

As should be obvious, we consider Martin Allen and D. Allen and Sons Contracting to be upper echelon professionals. They have handled a broad spectrum of work in our home over the past five years and we couldn't be more pleased. As the point man, Marty is honest, straightforward and punctual. When he says when and how something will be done, you can absolutely rely on him to provide the utmost in materials, workmanship, service, and punctuality. We have found this to be true on three major projects. We are senior citizens. One often hears horror stories about seniors being victimized by remodelers. Marty and the D. Allen and Sons workers have treated us and our home as if we were members of heir family. We put our absolute trust in them and have been rewarded with beautiful results.

Martin was very easy to work with around getting an estimating, and work communication. The construction teams were on time, diligent and did a pretty good job cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely hire DAllen and Sons again.

Professional estimate-Excellent communications-explained to me that other estimators were not going to do the repair properly-prompt start date and finish time-Great crew and clean-up-Got the job done correctly at a lower cost (15-25% lower) than a couple other companies that would have skipped a necessary step. Top grade materials used- that come with an outstanding warranty.

Overall, I had a great experience with DAllen and Sons and plan to use them again. DAllen and Sons came recommended to me by a close Engineer friend who is very particular. I contacted them the second or third week in September for a quote. Admittedly, quite late in the season. I explained I had some water leakage issues by my dormer. 1 week after receiving quote, we had heavy rain and I had water drops inside my window-sill. I contacted DAllen and Sons explaining situation and they were working on my house the next week. I couldn't have been happier with their concern & timeliness! What a great first impression. The owners stopped by periodically to check on job progress which was re-assuring as a first-time customer. The foreman was hands-on, provided consistent direction to the team, was available for questions and addressed concerns immediately. Workers were professional, efficient, friendly and considerate. They worked and were not lazy. The vinyl siding was meticulously installed and wrapping the windowsills with white metal was a work of art. The laborer in particular was incredible. He was constantly on the move, getting things for folks and seemingly involved with everything. The workers left the job site neat & tidy at the end of the day and took care to ensure there was safe passage for my kids & I passing through work area. I was a little disappointed in the garage window replacement. It took a while to get the window and it seemed to be installed extending into the garage space rather than within existing window opening. Perhaps they had access issues to back of garage due to a fence or maybe there was a measurement / window sizing issue. I wasn't there that day and don't know. It's in & works but doesn't look like I anticipated. In fairness, I did not contact them after installation to check it out or modify so it's partially my fault. Had I contacted them, I'm confident they would've come back out quickly & explained / addressed it for me. Ultimately, I was grateful they replaced it so close to winter. The window replacement was a job afterthought on my part and pales in comparison to the great job they did replacing my roofs. I will use them again and have recommended them to friends.

DAllen & Sons Contracting has completed several jobs at my house to my complete satisfaction. Both Dennis and Martin are wonderful to work with. They have great ideas, are honest and knowledgeable. The estimate were clear, detailed and everything was followed through on as outlined. All jobs were completed using top quality materials and the quality of their work and attention to detail was exceptional. The crews were prompt, neat and a pleasure to have working at my home.
