It went poorly from start of project as Groezinger/ Homeland property Services rarely showed up. Took 2/3 of the money; never finished the job. As a result we have had to get new estimates, hire a new carpenter and pursue the difference in Guilderland Small Claims court.
Description of Work: Groezinger- doing business as Homeland Property Services- was engaged to take down an existing deck, install new concrete supports and install new Trek decking. He was to be paid: 1/3 when old decking was removed; 1/3 when frame was completed; and 1/3 when finished. He took off the old deck, then showed up sporadically for an hour or two. This lasted for months. He always said I will be there tomorrow but rarely showed up as promised. He installed most of the new frame, got paid the second 1/3 to buy the Trek. Dumped some farming lumber in our yard; never returned. Left his wheelbarrow, extension card, and hyrdaulic jack in our yard; never returned. When we began to get new estimates, those carpenters pointed out that the work Groezinger did was low quality, and that he nailed together parts of the framework that needed to be hung on supports.
