YABOO FENCE CO

Yaboo installed a fence around our property. Darren measured and provided a quote, but about halfway through installation the workers told us that his measurements were off by two lengths of the fence. Darren was extremely rude, tried to put the blame on us, and even told us “I don’t care if your happy.” We ended up having to pay for the two additional lengths of fence. I tried several times to call the owner to complain about Darren’s unprofessional and rude behavior, and they never bothered to call me back. I even went in person, and they turned me away. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect, especially for such a large project/purchase. Fast forward to the first big storm. The fence blew over and took a retaining wall with it. Cost thousands to repair the wall and fence, and the contractor told us it should never have been installed into a retaining wall like that. We have done many home improvements, worked with many contractors, and this was by far the WORST experience.

Replaced fencing began to collapse about a year later. We had handy man shore-up fencing. Approximately 2 months ago, replaced fencing collapsed completely. ONLY the replaced fencing collapsed. We contacted Yaboo for explanation and to discuss replacing the collapsed sections. Their explanation was flimsy at best (to quote a rep more or less...who knows what happened...could be anything no point in going down that road) We got estimate and went to another provider, Fesco Fencing. Fesco provided detail estimate and analysis of what went wrong with Yaboo. Simply stated, Yaboo did not dig deep enough before putting in shoring posts. Since no other sections collapsed and those sections were over ten years old, it seems as if the analysis is correct. I would never use Yaboo again

They were extremely competitive with their pricing, which was one of the reasons why we went with them. They had a lot of different fencing options and helped us decide which would work best on our property. They completed the job exactly when they said they would. We would use them again in the future.

They were on time and got back to me with answers to all my questions, but their price was so far off everyone else it just made me wonder...

Overall it went well. However, since the cost for Yaboo to do this was very high, I was not impressed that they forgot to bring a gate post cap and didn't bring enough screws for all of the gate brackets. Each gate bracket has 2 or 3 screws in them instead of the full amount of 4. And when I brought up the post cap, they said for me to stop into the store and pick it up. Which I did and was no problem. However at their prices, I would expect this to be done during installation.

Went well, but they had to modify the layout (my fault) which resulted in unused pieces of fencing, which they would not take back, resulting in lower ratings for price and professionalism.

We purchased a new house and had about a week until we had to move in and needed a fence in the backyard for our dog. I met with Vincent who laid out all of the options for the fence, as well as measured the property lines and provided suggestions for how to deal with tricky landscape situations. The fence installation was very fast, in fact much faster than their original estimate. The team was very nice and professional, and my wife and I are very happy with the results!

They were pretty good. They matched their competitor's price because we wanted someone local so they actually brought the price down. They were very fast about doing their work. They came to give me a quote and then I told them that I got lower quotes from someone else and they actually matched it and gave me more on top of that. They were professional all around. There wasn't anything they did that I would say that I don't like about them.

The fence was installed professionally, and in a timely manner

They were lovely. They're fast, efficient and gave us a discount. They are wonderful people. We're always looking for payment plans with zero interest, so we ended paying it out probably at least six months with no interest. It was really helpful to us because we're retiring and we're on a fixed income. They were here when they said, they're wonderful and efficient team, no mistakes and everything is perfectly lined up. They used a really high grade of wood, they gave us a free upgrade from pine to cedar; cedar is a better wood that would last longer. They're really nice all around. He came in at the best price and was able to come the soonest. We used him again recently, we had had another tree fall and crashed through about two or three sections of the fence. He really worked with us and gave us a really deep discount because we were repeat customer.

This was my second go-round with Yaboo Fence. They had installed a much larger section of chain link and wood fencing on my property last year and all went so well that I used them again this year for a continuation of the wood fencing on my property. I had dealt with salesman Darren last year but because he had left the company, I was introduced to salesman Tim. Tim was terrific to deal with: polite, professional, punctual. He did everything he said he would do, was always available to me for questions or concerns and followed through until the job was completed. The day of the installation, the three installers arrived on time. Two of the installers, Wilson and John, had done the work last year so I knew I was in good hands. For this job, they had Luis along to assist. These guys work very well: they work clean, take their time, and were very approachable when it came to any questions while the job was being done. I should add that there was a problem with last year's installation as far as the height of the fence and the sturdiness of some of the poles, as well as a gap in one of the gates. Because Yaboo warrants their work, Tim saw to it that the installers corrected the problems with last year's install at no charge. The finished product looks great and we are, once again, very pleased. I had gotten three other estimates for the work I needed done on my fence, and Yaboo was not the least expensive. But because of my positive previous experience with them, the fact that they were making good on their warranty without hesitation, and my comfort level with Tim - I knew we'd be in good hands with Yaboo. I will be dealing with Yaboo for the next section of fencing we need done and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable company to handle their fencing needs.

Overall, the experience was terrific. Salesman was extremely responsive. Once I gave my deposit, we had a few hiccups with scheduling but nothing major - and as much me as them. The workers were great, efficient, clean, hard working and professional. Plus they were really sweet with my dogs.

They were great. They beat out everybody's price. We had them back the second time to finish the rest of the fence. They did a very good job. They are pleasant workers. They are nice people. They come when they say they would come. I would use them in the future.

Great experience all the way. Vincent was very helpful when he came out for our estimate. He worked with us to give us what we wanted for what we could afford. The workers showed up two weeks later, on a freezing cold morning, and got to work. They were quick, quiet, and efficient. The job was done the same day, the workmanship looked great, and our backyard was cleaner than when they'd started. Thank you. Even a follow-up call to ensure we were still happy with everything. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It was great. They will come and fix it if you ever have any problem with their fence. I once had a problem with my gate and they came and fixed it at no charge as part of the contract. They were very prompt in answering any questions that I had. We used them because they were the most reasonable. They are really a great company.

It went pretty well. I had remove an old background fence and put in a new fence with a gate. It was very beautifully done. They also replaced a fence around my garden as well, along with another on the front of the house.

It went very smoothly. We visited the store in West Nyack, John was helpful in choosing our fence, he did not push us toward the more expensive fences but helped us add an embellishment (curve) top for no up-charge to our basic sturdy cedar fence. The installers put in the fences in two days, the did a great job. It is sturdy, attractive and well built and they cleaned up nicely after themselves.

We were very happy with Yaboo Fence Co. They got here on time and worked hard. The fence is very good quality. They were very polite and neat. The whole project went smoothly. I think their price was very good.
