Review of Done Right Cleaning My experience with the crew that Janet Yuckel’s sent from Done Right Cleaning was wonderful. Janet went out of her way to fit me in when the other service I had scheduled bailed on me only three days before an Open House to sell my home. Her crew of four women was punctual and friendly. They worked together with efficiency and coordination that let them do more in two hours than I would have thought possible. They cleaned about 800 square feet of fairly dirty hardwoods in that time, and I am amazed by the results. I was also pleased with the very reasonable charge for this service! If I ever need cleaning, or any of the other services offered by Done Right Cleaning, I’ll definitely call Janet again.

The women are very polite and ready to work. They did a wonderful top to bottom clean of my home. This companies prices are very comparable to others in the area, and are actually the only ones I found find to service my exact location. Can't wait for them to come again!

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, the crew was 2 hours late. However they were fantastic! Great detail work, fabulous communication, immediately responsive to every request and overall wonderful. Cannot say enough good things. Recommend HIGHLY!

Our home is 3600 sf. Generally, they cleaned the entire first floor (kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, half-bath, and a separate 500 sf in-law apartment, the stairs/hallway upstairs and two additional full bathrooms. One team member spent the entire time in the kitchen: counters, cabinets, microwave, appliances, walls if smudged, molding, window sills, light fixtures, window, dusting of anything on the counters, dusting of framed pictures, tile floor, and any dishes I hadn't done. Nothing was done half-way. When the person cleaned the floor she meant business. Most people probably just go over the floor with a Swiffer or sponge mop. Done Right thoroughly wet the floor, then went to work on it with one of those heavy duty mops and scrub brushes if necessary. The rest of the house was treated the same way. We have hardwood hallways and flooring. Every throw rug was picked up and the flooring cleaned beneath. Dusting was handled the same way, the entire flat surface was cleaned - items on coffee tables and side tables were removed, not just cleaned around, they even dusted areas most people don't touch, like tops of window frames, the refrigerator, and high mantles. Seat cushions were removed from the furniture, and the interiors were vacuumed. They moved furniture to vacuum under things, including the couches. We have two dogs and two cats so there is a lot of fur everywhere. The dogs like to sit in a bay window - Done Right removed the dog beds, thoroughly vacuumed them, and cleaned the bay window before putting them back. The bathrooms were always spotless and they used toothbrushes to get at the crevices. I've never been much of a housekeeper (raised by a man) but Done Right always exceeded any expectation I might have had about a clean house. Janet (the owner) was always very accommodating if I needed extra help. ALWAYS. I knew I could count on them if I got in a bind. I haven't read all the reviews, but some people were complaining about the price. Done Right is pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you're content with someone coming in to do a quick run through (vacuum what can be easily accessed, dusting around objects, spraying a little air freshener so things "look" clean) use someone else. If you want your home CLEAN, by individuals who are bonded and insured, and who will clean the house the right way, then consider Done Right. If you are working with a budget, let Janet know so she can plan the team's time accordingly. I really miss these guys. They were the best.

I was more than satisfied with the service. I especially liked that everyone seemed eager to please.

3 women cleaned for 2 hours. They were quiet and professional. They worked well as a team. They did an excellent job, better than I could have done in that short period of time.

They were outrageously over priced. When they came out to do the cleaning, I was under the impression that it was going to be completed in one day. I had contacted them on short notice, and I thought this was reason I was paying a higher price. When the cleaners left they asked to be paid for the first day's work before coming back to complete the job. This didn't strike me as very professional.

There's nothing I dislike about them, they're prompt, very professional, very thorough and very accommodating.

It was good. I thought that the price was way too high. With regard to responsiveness, they are very good.

I bought a living social deal for this service as we were looking for a company to take care of our house on a regular basis. They finished early said that my house was pretty clean already and didn't need the whole prepaid three hours done. I was disappointed with their lack of interest in seeing more that needs to be done in my house. We never used them again.

While the $1800 bill was totally outrageous, there wasn't much I could do about it. I wasn't there. The realtor had given them a key. The house was, indeed, cleaned. (That is not my complaint. I do believe they use toothbrushes and cotton swabs and move in slow motion, scrubbing everything at least 67 times.) But I do have a valid complaint re: the windows. The realtor did ask them to do the garage windows and the windows on the back porch. And I told the owner of the cleaning company that I am not contesting the $120 they charged for that. (Though why it took them four hours is beyond me. I could have done it in an hour. And these are professionals!!) But I felt she should give me a refund for the work she spent doing the other windows, as I has asked them explicity not to do them. (When I called about this after the fact, the owner acknoweldged that I had told her not to do the windows; she said the realtor had asked them to do them all. But this is not true. The realtor had asked them only to do the garage and porch windows.) Though the website of this company claims to want to please their customers, a pleasant experience was not at all what I had on the phone. The woman hung up on me when I tried to get an accounting. I strongly urge people to avoid this company unless they are planning on hosting the Queen of England. The scrubbing they give a house does merit such a visit. But be prepared to spend the better half of your monthly wages--and be prepared for numerous visits. And then ask yourself if it was worth it.

I was given a quote ,on the phone,after giving the layout of our home and needs of my cleaning preferences. We have a large home, but only 2 of us living here now.I wanted the whole house cleaned, but the rooms that needed more attention were the kitchen, family room, master bedroom/bath,kitchen- the rooms that are used daily. Our home is always picked up and organized-nothing to sort through or declutter. The price I was given, was 1/2 the amount that it ended up costing. Janet did say that it could be a little more or less,depending... that was a joke. 3 women came,on time,but were not very friendly. I asked if there was anyone in charge,so as to address my needs as I showed them through the house. They said no. So, I addressed all 3 of them. We went through the house and I even deleted some of the things I mentioned on the phone,as I decided to do them myself,like window washing in our 4 season room,which has many windows. After showing them around, I proceeded to get myself ready,as I had to take my Dad to the Dr.'s. Once I was ready, I went to each of the women and gave them a tip,as I would not be back,before they left. So, it was another $60 on top of the price. I was going through the rooms that already had been done and there was much streaking on the tops of the furniture in the bedroom and the dining room. They said they used and quot;Pledgeand quot; and that must have caused it. I said I don't use polish on my furniture-just a damp cloth. I asked them to please get rid of the streaks-she kept rubbing ,as if to remove the and quot;Pledgeand quot;. The rags that they were using were rough-like old towels,not soft ,like dust rags. I was in a hurry, so assummed it would be done to my satisfaction, after raising the issue. When I returned home, the house was clean,overall. But, the tops of the furniture were dusty,as well as the steps going up to the 2nd floor. It looked as if they hadn't been done. I believe the cloths they used, were inappropriate for dusting. The stairs looked like they hadn't been done,so I did them myself and redid the dusting of the furniture tops. The dining room table was all streaked from and quot;Pledge-I was so miffed! I had to rub and rub,to get all the extra polish off! There was little attention, to putting things back where they moved them from-just put back,at their whim. I have no idea how long they were here-my mistake! I could not be here,but in the future will make sure I am,upon completion of any job, I contract. A day or so later, I was called and asked if the job had been done to my satisfaction.I told here it was ok- not great. We ended our conversation and the bill was forthcoming- almost double the price we talked about!! This is not right-I was taken and will never call these people again. Their come-on is good and Janet is very friendly, on the phone, working to and quot;getand quot; the job. But, the result was less than stellar and the price was unjustified! It was NOT and quot;Done Rightand quot;!

I was 34 weeks (8.5 months) pregnant when I called Janet, the owner, to come and clean our house. I tried mopping the floor one day and I was out of commission for 2 days so I wasn't going to tackle the baseboards. Janet gave me a quote over the phone and told me that she'll be sending 3 cleaners to do the whole house. On the day of the cleaning, 3 ladies showed up and asked me what I wanted cleaned. Since it was my first time using a cleaning company, I really didn't know what to ask so I said to focus on the baseboards and bathrooms. They gave me suggestions on what else they can do so I took them up for it. They cleaning all of our windows, baseboards, bathrooms, vacuumed the floor and furniture, mopped the floors, cleaned the kitchen including cleaning the inside of my oven, washed the dishes in the sink, dusted, and even wiped off our light bulbs, light switches, and more. The house was so nice and clean after they left my husband wouldn't stop commenting on how clean the shower looked and how nice everything was. They did such a great job that even my husband said when are they coming back. :D
