Able Arborist

Project was performed in 2 parts. Friday the tree was removed with a great deal of care due to overhanging above the power lines. Used a bucket truck, large truck for chips and wood as well as a log lifter to put large logs into truck. Monday Mike and his crew returned to grind out the stump and totally rake up the front yard and remove ALL debris. Very impressive!!! Friday the crew consisted of Mike LaRose (owner) with Larry doing the cutting from the bucket truck and Scott who along with Mike totally kept up with the limbs to be ground up through the huge chipper. The only break they took was the one I insisted upon when I provided lunch!! lol

Everything went great and on schedule ... very impressed with Mike LaRose the owner of Able Arborist ... very knowledgeable, friendly,honest and very reasonable on his estimates. When I asked how much money he needed up front he said none ... he would collect the money when the job was done to my satisfaction ... WOW!! .... I have never had a contractor say that to me before ... they usually require something up front before getting started. Mike arrived on time the day we had agreed upon. Completed the work of cutting down 2 trees, grinding 5 stumps and several ugly evergreen shrubs lining the front of my house. He used the ground out stump chips to fill in the holes left from grinding saving me money by not needing as much topsoil when I reseeded the area ... thanks Mike. Before he left he cleaned up all the areas that he had worked on. His prices were reaonable and his work was excellent. I highly recommend Mike LaRose .... you'll be glad you did .. I plan on using his services again in the future.

He arrived when he said he would. Completed the work of cutting and clean up after grinding down all three stumps , which most tree men do not do. When he left you would not know that the trees had been there. I had had him cut down two huge maples during the summer on my other property. His price was lower than competitors and his work was excellent. I would recommend him above anyone. In addition, he is a very nice guy who is considerate of your property. You would do well to utilize his services.

Good Experience

The owner of this company is Mike LaRose. He is fantastic. He is a super nice guy. He is very fair. He has a lift truck and state of the art equipments. He leaves the yard spotless because he grinds everything he cuts puts it in his truck and mulches it immediately. The line of trees that I had him chop off the top were 80 ft tall and he took about 30ft off them because I have a solar home and they were shading my house and they are evergreen. He did an amazing job because he had to take a lot off. He is honest and fair. He is kind of busy so he might take a while for him to get to you. I guess it could be looked at as negative but I always look at a contractor when they are busy and in demand, people appreciate their work they do a good job normally. I had to wait for him to come but he did come and did a great job. Years ago I had tree swing hanging from a 200 year old tree in my yard and while he was there trimming some dead tree limbs and stuff so that it did not fall on my grand kids he actually hooked up the tree swing for me. He backed up his truck under the tree and did that for me. I would have gladly paid for the work he did but he wanted it only when he is done. He was to come back and get some bulbs for me. As for responsiveness he gets to you but you would have to wait. I will use him in the future.
