Description of Work: Al came and gave us a free estimate, detailing the area we wanted sanded and sealed and polyurethane coated. Al gave a detailed estimate. We hired Al, as he had a competitive price and was flexible with timing the project, we were staying away from the house during this process. Taping off areas to other rooms with plastic, even removing a door as to not damage it. They took time to be particular and neat. Took off radiator covers in order to preserve them. They proceeded to sand the floors with the big machine as Al patches areas as needed and used a smaller hand sander for areas close to the wall. Sealed and poly after the sanding and a second coat of poly after drying the first coats! In the end, We Love The Floors! ***UPDATE. 4/13/15 Well, all looked good when the 2nd coat of poly was applied, until we came back home 2 days later to find over 100 areas with bubbles. I called Al,owner, from 10am call I received return call after a another voice mail and text message. All promptly called back, came the next night too look at the floor. Al cam Friday the 10th the lightly sand and apply another coat of poly. All did the work,himself this time, Al left his worker here the first day to finish and his worker and Al did the 2nds days work, Al co played the job himself. As per Al, there are a number of influences that could make bubbles occur- all possible but mind you- I am paying to rent a room while this is going on. Soooooo, Als price is fair, he's nice deal with- except when he talki Ver you and try's to make you say your happy. He came on time, after we reprimanded him for coming 1 hour late for the estimate yet we gave Al a chance. He then showed up in time all the other days. As of today, Monday - 10 days after this whole ordeal began, still not home. The poly took two days to dry this last time, so we have to prep the house before we can get back in. Als fair price was chewed up by the time consumed to get the job done correctly.

Description of Work: I HAD MY HARDWOOD FLOORS SANDED COMPLETELY DOWN TO THE BARE WOOD AND REFINISHED AND SEALED.
