Everything they did at my house had to be done twice...Bathroom...twice...roof...twice...everything they touched turned to garbage....actually had to get a lawyer to get things completed correctly.

Job was started on time. Guys were great. Any problems were dealt with swiftly to our satisfaction. Very reliable. Did not worry at all about workers being in house when we were not home. Totally honest staff who took good care of house.

They put a good amount of blown-in insulation in the attic but I wish they had recommended a different type of insulation because I have a furnace up there for my second floor heating. My heating contractor told me some time later that he vacuumed some of it away from the furnace area as a safety precaution. Perhaps this is my fault for not doing enough research on types of insulation. The people from Murtha were neat and did seem to want to do a good job. I would use them again.

Very good. I was satisfied. They are a good company to deal with and Mr Michael the owner made a plan that was workable. He made sure the job progressed smoothly and timely. His price was not the lowest but his company was best suited to our needs.

I never write reviews, but my recent experience with Murtha Construction compels me to do so. It was suggested to me to have an energy audit done on my home because of the incentives that were available to reduce my heating bill. I did some research and had Murtha come in to perform a free energy audit. I was prepared with a few names, but I felt confident after having the audit done and meeting with Michael Storey that this company had my best interest in mind. From the time I called to set up the initial appointment through the job being completed, I have received nothing but friendly, courteous professional treatment. Everyone who I came in contact with from that company was excellent whether on the phone or in person. They were all knowledgeable about what I needed and didn’t try to sell me anything more. When the contractors came in to do the job, I was amazed at how polite and considerate the whole crew was. They went over and beyond what I expected and didn’t leave a stitch of debris behind. I never would have known they were there except for the fact that my home is a lot warmer and I am already saving on oil. I found their dedication and commitment to be outstanding. I highly recommend them.
