John has been amazing. ConEd has literally taken 8 months to get to this point, and perhaps 6-8 visits to my home, and we finally have an installation date of April 2018 for 220V. One thing after another went wrong with ConEd. First, John discovered a dead neutral wire from the street - my home had been running on water ground for probably years (very dangerous)! He had ConEd pull an emergency feed from the nearby light pole. Then, he worked on upgrading our panel to have enough circuits, which he did very nicely, including building a small wall segment to ensure that there was adequate separation with the gas meter. Then, ConEd came out again and told us we needed to get the second meter physically disconnected, as we were a legal two-family home but used only one meter. So, he walked me through that process. Then, ConEd came out to pull new cables from the street, spent quite a few hours and couldn't get the snake through. So, ConEd had to get permission to drill a new conduit, etc. They came out in December after getting the permits to determine how to do it. John has literally been here every step of the way, including days when ConEd said they would show up between 8 and 11 but didn't actually show up until 2. He has been very dedicated, but ConEd will only move so fast.

The job was done very well with a lot of care given to details and to making sure everything was done properly. This includes cutting through very thick, very stubborn roots that filled the space where electrical lines needed to be laid. He was always on time and was very flexible when it came to my availability.

Was not able to fix light. Wasted a lot of time. He was nice but money was not worth it.

The job was done so accurately, without any issues.

I called at 11pm hoping just to leave a message and John answered his phone. He also advised me that the problem I had was likely a LIPA issue but offered to come over immediately if I wished. Furthermore he checked the following morning to see how everything was despite my not having an opportunity to actually hire him. I would not hesitate to contact him again based on his professionalism and concern.

It went great! John was on time, reasonable, friendly, and cleaned everything up afterward:) would recommend to anyone!!

Everything went well, John was on time every day and very helpful, explaining to me everything that had to be done. I will definitely continue to use Jc Electric for all of my electrical needs. The job was completed quickly and the workers were very neat. I thought the price was very fair. This was the third time I had work done from Jc Electric and I will definitely use them again in the future.
