Friendly, informative, hard worker, great person to handle calls at his office. Have had others out for similar problem but not totally honest or as knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ron Sass owner of Evergreen Custom Cesspool is the person that came over on Saturday to take care of the backup issue. Ron and his team were very courteous and responsive. We moved into the house about a year ago and the previous owner did not volunteer any information about the cesspool integrity or its location. The first thing Ron did, was to check if the cesspool is full. By checking the trap, Ron determine that it was full and needed to be pumped. They spent a substantial amount of time looking for the cesspool location and were thinking of other options. After talking to a neighbor per Ron?s suggestion, Ron was able to find the cesspool and pumped 2000 gallons. Ron provided suggestions for this original cesspool and other possible options. Ron and his team were professional and courteous. I would recommend Evergreen for any cesspool issues.

I called Ron at 7:30 in the morning and he came later that day. What I hoped was a simple clogged sink drain turned out to require replacing the entire sink line and replumbing the kitchen sink drain. Ron returned the next day to finish the job. I thought the price was more then fair for the amount of work required. Ron's a real professional and I highly recommend him.

We had recently moved into a different house and had 4 blockages in our main drain pipe within 9 months. We had called another service in twice. They took care of the immediate problem by snaking the line, but the line always seemed to be flowing slow. I saw the great reviews for Evergreen and decided to call Ron. Sandy took our information and was very nice. Ron called us and came over right away. We were at wits end with all the back ups and were ready to have a new 46 foot drain line installed. We thought there was a pitching problem with the pipes but we didn't realize no one had ever bothered to open the trap. They just snaked through them from the outside. Apparently, Ron was the only one who bothered to check everything and opened the u shaped traps and found it was mostly clogged with a small hole in the middle. He cleared the trap and installed new plugs. Ron was the only one who solved our flow issue by being so thorough. He assured us that this was our problem all along. We could have saved so much aggregation and money if we had called Ron first! So if you have any sewer or cesspool problems, I would highly recommend that you should call Ron first! Ron is a great guy, honest and hard working. We would definitely use him again, and would not hesitate to refer him highly to any family or friends with cesspool or sewer problems.

bottom line he found the issue --( some tree root problems)--- + he did check all the pertinent lines-- including the washer. felt we were in good hands + that he honest about the whole thing.

I thought the pricing was fair and the work was done quickly and professionally. Not much else to say. There is now less poop under my front lawn. A+ Will definitely call them again.

We called a line rooter serviceman to clean what we thought was a mostly clogged cesspool line.When he removed the clean out plug, the trap began filling with water from the line and it didn't stop. We started bailing water into 5 gallon buckets as fast as we could until it slowed down. The rooter guy told me to call for a pumpout immediately because the cesspool was full. I called two or three companies listed and got answering machines (it was late afternoon on Halloween) But Ron from Evergreen picked up the phone and came right over. The owner did all the work himself and was very courteous and professional. I would recommend him without hesitation as he has become my go to guy for any septic line problems.

Ron, the owner, does the work. He was courteous, friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do. He was competitively priced. He came to my house within a couple of hours of calling him. This was not an emergency, but a proactive treatment.

Ron literally got to the "root" of the problem by finding and removing a large root from the main sewer line. He saved us from the major headache of having to deal with a sewer back-up. He was very thorough and we will use this company again.

Ron is a true professional, honest, and courteous. They located my cesspool cover which was buried deeper than expected. Ron did not charge me extra as a courtesy. They were prompt, respectful, and very thorough with the clean up. They actually reset the stones in my flower bed, swept the dirt, and removed any extra debris. True pro's. Ron, the owner, showed up on time. Actually, he was five minutes early. Ron was professional and affable. The price I was quoted on the phone was the price I was charged. No attempt was made to pad the bill. The job itself went very smoothly. This was as pleasant an experience as I imagine a cesspool job can be. We had concerns about our existing cesspool because there was a strong possibility it was partially under our driveway and we wanted to redo our driveway in the spring. We got estimates/assessments from various companies and settled on Ron/Evergreen for the following reasons: 1) Price - he is extremely competitive. 2) Knowledge - Ron took the time to explain how to deal with settling land and the risk to the driveway. He clearly has many years of experience and takes the time to explain everything in simple terms. Where as others gave us different solutions but didn't explain the risks. 3) He made himself available to answer our questions several times even though he has a very busy schedule. His team (and Ron) showed up as expected, completed the job on time and constantly kept me in the loop while the work was going on. We were also happy to learn that the cesspool wasn't under the driveway. We couldn't be more happy with the experience. I would highly recommend him. Thanks Ron.

Ron spoke with me at length on the phone to try to diagnose the problem. He explained potential causes and asked me to perform tests so he could get more information. After I called with those results, he came to my house to investigate further. He determined the best solution for us is to have a plumber come to do work. Ron seemed very knowledgeable. He was thorough and answered all my questions. I appreciated his time and advice. He didn't charge me for anything. Sandy, who answers the office phone, made sure Ron returned my calls in a timely manner.

Ron came the next morning after I called - & he apologized it wasn't that same evening (did not expect him to come same day but appreciate that it was his first reaction which tells me he aims to assist ASAP).

Ron,the owner,was great from start to finish.Told me all the details about the job right from start and made us feel very confident in the fact that we were getting a true professional.He went to Nassau office to get all permits and had street marked for gas and water lines.Completed job in time frame he had told us and did a great job cleaning up.Would definetely recommend this company to anyone needing sewer line replaced or any other services they provide.

I had water backed up in the basement and looked in Angie's List where I found Evergreen. I called about 10AM and was told he was out on a job. He said he would come about 3PM or possibly sooner. He actually came about 2PM. We thought it was a backup in the house portion of the line. Ron found that the blockage was in the portion that goes from the house to street. There were some small roots that were blocking the main drain line, which he unclogged. He checked the rest of the line and provided suggestions and answer my questions. I recommend this company highly and will use him again in the future.

He quickly located the cesspool cover, pumped out the sludge and added sulfuric acid to the cesspool. He is very professional. He did not recommend unnecessary services. He is also very friendly and explained every thing what he will do before starting work and showed it after completing.

Ron is professional, knowledgeable, honest, patient, friendly and reliable. He did great job to identify the problem and cleared the blockage of the main drainpipe. He explained to me that he had a meeting previously scheduled in the morning but would try his best to come before noon. He was very punctual and arrived before noon as promised. Originally I thought it could be the cesspool backup. Ron found out the real cause was the blockage of the main drain line and unclogged the drain line.
