EVERGREEN CUSTOM CESSPOOL

I had Evergreen pump my septic tank a few weeks ago and at that time Ron told me he may have to return to empty the overflow as well. I am so glad he told me that because when the second incident happened, I was prepared for it. As with his first visit, Ron explained every aspect of the work as it was happening. Because it took a little while to find the overflow, before he closed up the access, he inserted a pipe and capped it with a cement block to make finding it a bit easier in the future. Once again the work site was left clean and neat, the workers were friendly and professional, and I was left feeling confident that I got the best job anyone to hope for. Thanks again Ron!

Very satisfied with the outcome and hopefully do not need to see Ron for another 3 years...... But if I need him I know he will respond rapidly.

Gave us peace of mind as we were having a large holiday family gathering and did not want any cesspool issues. These guys are great!

It went great. They came by to clean out cesspool of new house. Had to find not one but two cesspools and then identify problem (problem was roots in the pipes). They cleared out the pipes and got everything running perfectly. Owner was very nice and very quick, did a good job, clearly explained pricing and all aspects of work that was done.

Great! The service was performed perfectly, professionally,. Ron was terrific. He let me know all along what needed to be done. Made suggestions for future services, and assured me that he would work with me on the cost. He left the job site clean and neat. I highly recommend this company.

Ron is patient in terms of explaining the details. The price is much higher than the promotion though, he said it is a cesspool and not septic tank. Well, it is the same in terms of pumping out the solid at the bottom. Whatever, it is a waste of time on both sides. ============================================= Respond to the company. Got Citywide came in. They pumped 2000 gallon and told me there is a second cesspool. Also, asked the previous owner and they said there is a second cesspool. We haven't really located the second pool because Citywide wanted 2600$ to install a riser for the first one in order to trace all the way to the second pool, which I think is ridiculous. But, back to the septic/cesspool issue. At least Ron is wrong in the sense the first cesspool by definition is a septic. This is what the Citywide folks told me. This might be confusing, so essentially only the last receiving pool is called cesspool. This sort of makes sense, because the pools in the front are most likely dead, eventually water has to seep down in the last pool. It also explains why Ron emphasizes there is only one pool, so he thinks the septic pumping price does not apply. As a matter of fact, most long island uses cesspool, but there is need to pump septic because the definition of septic is not the same compared to the rest of the company, which uses the septic system that involves drain field and fully enclosed concrete box. But the bottom line is Ron quoted a much higher price to pump 2000 gallon of waste plus adding chemicals compared to Citywide, which is known to be an expensive company. Still, I do not see the difference between pumping a septic vs. pumping a cesspool, adding chemicals and other treatment is separately prices, there should not be a difference. The company's response saying they just clean the heavy waste on TOP of the liquid is clearly inconsistent with what is advertised "Here's the Deal: $250.00 for a septic tank pumping only. The Real Deal: Septic tanks collect and process waste-water solids, while the liquids (effluent) flow out into the drain field. If the sludge and scum are not pumped out, these solids build up and overflow to the drain field, causing your drain field to clog and fail. Don?t let this happen to you: get your septic pumped out today!". Nowhere did it mention that the cleaning is just for what is on the top, and Ron did not say that at the spot either. In contrast, it mentioned both sludge and scum. Seriously, who is gonna only pump the top of the liquid but leaves the sludge still in the tank?

The owner Ron explained the process and offered advice. He was fair and professional.

Ron was prompt and professional. He assessed the situation, determined the problem, discussed the plan, left to purchase parts and returned in a timely fashion. He removed the disposal and reconnected the pipes and the dishwasher. He was very nice and not costly. I would definitely use him again.

Outstanding service! I called for the first time this morning and spoke with Ron, the owner, who was driving and pulled over to take my call. I believed it was time for service and although it was not an emergency, he arranged to come personally the same day. He and his employee emptied my cesspool, checking with me after 1000 gallons in case I didn't want to spend additional money to empty my the tank entirely. I wanted to empty all the way, which he did and asked about chemicals, explaining how much chemical is appropriate per 1000 gallons. He was courteous, committed and absolutely cares about his customers. I have asked Ron to come back in a couple of weeks with his camera to help us locate our main cesspool which 3 other companies have not been able to find. I will use Evergreen Custom Cesspool exclusively going forward.

I chose Evergreen because there was a deal on drain cleaning that popped up on Angie's list. Ron was very prompt, friendly and professional. He had to run the snake very far into the drain twice to get things cleared, but ultimately got it running again. And he returned later that day when I called him because the pipe under the sink was leaking slightly - he had to make a big trip to get back here but he did it no questions asked. My only regret is that he could not do some other plumbing work we needed done. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a similar problem with my mother in laws downstairs shower stall not draining a few years back. Her tenant called a competitor. The technician needed help because of a worn out cutting blade (used to grind through roots). After milking the job and struggling like bumbling idiots they presented a bill for around $1500. I have an 'A' rated service company and wasn't having it. I paid about half and knew I was still ripped off. When I needed service this time I was able to use my Angie's membership to find a true 'A'. I looked for a close A rated company and read the last 5 reviews. All A's, the same technician mentioned in most ratings (like mine) and a rating that matched what I thought I needed. My wife met the tech and within 1-2 hours it was fixed for what my company charge as a minimum for service. ($250) Thanks for your Professionalism. It was a pleasure

Ron is a truly honest and hard worker He cam several times to try and find this cesspool He would not quit He was so nice i felt like he was an old friend...He helped in in everyway..and got the builder on the phone and we finally found it...oddly in my backyard under my walkways..and patio...talk about a bad placement. He also cot my property mapped out so I know where my gas and water lines are...again in a place i never expected...I so appreciate everything he did for me.. He gave me a product to use...each month...i have noticed my drains are faster and toilet works better too..it is so much better than the home depot gallon of stuff... I now know I have two cesspools and where they are..I will use Ron for my house and my mom's ...i just could not trust anyone else... His wife runs the office..what a doll...she made calling the office a nice experience... Sometimes we really need a friend in the biz...especially cesspool...through angies list..i feel i found one..

Ron is great. He showed up a bit early and we discussed the entire workings of a cess pool in depth. He is extremely knowledgeable and really takes time with his clients. He even came into my house and helped me figure out a completely separate plumbing issue that I was having. I highly recommend his services.

They showed up promptly at the agreed upon date and time. The work was done efficiently and quickly and recommendations were made to prevent future problems. Ron was professional, polite and very helpful. I will definitely call them again next time we need their services.

Ron was extremely timely and informative about the job that needed to be done to remove the blockage from the main drain line located in the basement. He worked diligently and efficiently to resolve the problem. Once the blockage was removed, he checked that all the lines were clear by testing the water output from the sinks, washing machine, dishwasher, and toilets. His prices are very fair, and his dedication to the task at hand is impeccable.

He then did it perfectly and actually charged me less than anticipated. He showed me the work when completed and tested/showed me that everything is now working properly. Very professional, on time. Examined my drain and told me we did not need a any service. He spent about 20 minutes at our house and refused to charge us for his time. We were very happy with his advise and will call him again if we have a problem.I would recommend him to my neighbors.

Ron and Oscar came early, Very professional, they had to first find the cesspool and then removed bricks covering it with no additional charge. Could not be happier with their service. Ron does not overcharge, he only put in enough chemicals as needed, Would defineatly recommend!!

I can no say enough wonderful things about Evergreen. The service was flawless. My husband and I just moved in and our septic tank overflowed during a blizzard. I called a few companies to get estimates and Evergreen's was the best, plus they returned my call right away. They came right away to do the job with the owner there every minute. I had no idea where the cesspools were but, even under 4 feet of snow and ice, they located and pumped both out... In the middle of a blizzard. I had a few follow up questions a few months later and they were happy to help.
