Description of Work: They moved our 2 bedroom apartment from Rochester to Buffalo in about 4 hours. They were fast and friendly the whole time. We were impressed with the cost, speed and friendliness of the two guys who moves us. A great experience. I would recommend them.

 + -1 moreLafayette Storage and Moving Corporation is absolutely outstanding!! I was referred to them by my realtor, and was he right!! I had never worked with a moving company before, and had heard some pretty scary stories. I joined Angie's List to help me make my decision. They were already rated A on Angie's list, and that, together with the recommendation and the value, made me choose them. They arrived on time at my house. The absolute thoroughness of their care of my possessions was amazing. The lead, George, was the best. Also Darlene and Brandon did an outstanding job supporting George. Everything was carefully prepared and then loaded onto the truck. They even stopped due to a rain storm, to make sure none of my possessions would get wet. They arrived at the date and time they said, here in Virginia. Once again everything was carefully unloaded from the truck, removed from its protective coverings, and set up for me. The 2 individuals who helped here in Virginia (I apologize, I can't remember their names) were also great and very supportive of George. I should also mention that even before the move, they were very kind and courteous. Marietta was very helpful as we worked through the estimate. Mark, in the office, gave me special boxes to help protect my TV, and several wardrobe carriers, all free of charge. Very personable, but also very efficient. And add in the best value, they absolutely get an A++rating from me.

 + -1 moreOverall, the move went well, no problems. They actually did show up a little earlier than scheduled, but that worked out well. I don't know if the 2 guys that showed up were his and quot;regularand quot; workers. I expected younger guys, but they did just fine.
Description of Work: We picked these movers to move my mother-in-law from one apartment to another in the same building. They had a 3 hour minimium, which many companies I contacted did. We knew it would only take 2 hours, but had to take the minimium. They did a fine job. They were careful with the furniture and actually finished under 2 hours! They were one of the few companies that could do the move on a Saturday, and we were able to pick a date ourselves. The person I talked to on the phone did mention that he needed to find the staff that would come in on a Saturday, at a later time in the morning, since they routinely work Sat. AM only, but had to adjust the time to my mother-in-law's schedule.
