Description of Work: We did not use Rolling Stone because of what I can only describe as an odd turn of events. We had received bids from three companies and had accepted Rolling Stone's bid even though it was a bit more than others because they promised to do a thorough job. My steps were falling down, creating a dangerous situation for my clients who walk the path to my office. Despite that situation, two months after accepting our bid, the work had not begun. With no promised date (just a possibility) in sight, while on the phone with Rolling Stone after hearing of the possibility, not likelihood of the work beginning, I wondered aloud if someone had fallen on the steps, would I get sued and pass that along to Rolling Stone. A day later, he called and said he refused to do the work because I had threatened him! What a gift! Instead, we used Dr. Pavers, who signed a contract with a start date and began on time, did a beautiful job and charged over $1,000 less.

The projected was a little delayed due to the weather. Charlie kept us informed and updated on when we could expect the work to start and when it would be completed. His team is extremely professional. We have enjoyed our new patio this past summer! I would highly recommend Rolling Stone Masonry.
Description of Work: We had a new patio built in our backyard. Charlie and his team removed the old patio. New stairs from the kitchen to the patio were built as well as the patio.

+ 2 moreI was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the work his men performed (Charlie estimated and supervised the work, but he had his crew do the actual work). The price was exactly what had been quoted from the beginning. He began the work when he said he would, and completed it on time. The only reason this review is written so late is that I had dropped off Angie's List for a few years, and was disturbed to see the one posted review so negative. I highly recommend Rolling Stone Masonry.
Description of Work: The work involved removing a brick patio and replacing it with Cambridge pavers. It also involved using existing bricks (salvaged from the patio) to re-do a smaller patio. Charlie was extremely professional and dependable throughout the process.

+ 1 moreCharlie, referred to me by Casa Building supplies, gave me a verbal quote (he wouldn't give me a written one) of $1600 to apply brick veneer to my home on both sides of my door above and around windows. The day before he began, he increased the price 25%. Withcold weather fast approaching I guess he thought I wouldn't have options. I didn't use him for obvious reasons. UPDATE:The provider's response is completely false. I purchased all the materials, based on Charlie's quote, from CASA building materials in Elmsford. Now there is public evidence this company, and its owner, are not truthful.
