Came to look at the job. Said he would send me a proposal. Never followed through. I gave him a reminder phone call and asked to please send me the proposal. Said he would. Never did. Bizarre.

What a find! Charlie and his crew were outstanding from start to finish. Quick estimates in a timely manner. The work was performed as scheduled. Even when work was delayed one day, they did not miss a beat. Charlie helped us decide on appropriate color schemes, when choosing pavers. His crew removed all of the old concrete neatly and efficiently. The walk was extended and widened, using many cuts to the pavers. Looks great. They repointed the front stones, repaired cracked concrete on the front steps and even replanted landscaping, which was not in the contract. Super job. Two people on the block saw his work and immediately hired him. You can't go wrong using Rolling Stone Masonry.

Charlie did a beautiful job on our front steps and walkway. We choose Charlie because his communication was very clear. His proposal was clear, he provided us with references and talked with us about a couple of different design options. Charlie built a strong foundation, and when it came to esthetics he put his heart in the color variations of the bluestone and the step risers. Our neighbors come to complement his work, and we feel like this is a great investment in our new home.

I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal from Charlie Vaccaro of Rolling Stone back in March but, due to weather conditions and other issues, the work was just completed. However, I am extremely pleased with the work that was performed. The two skilled masons on this job were very pleasant and hard-working individuals who obviously took pride in the quality of their work. Also, I found Charlie Vaccaro to be professional and honest. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

It was excellent. I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal that was advertised in March. Charlie contacted me immediately, we set up a day/time for him to come out and look at what needed to be done. He was right on time, I accepted the estimate and then waited for my scheduled timeframe. It was too cold at the time of the estimate to do the work so it was postponed til now. Charlie called, we set up the day and his crew arrived right on time. They did an excellent job, clean up was perfect. I'd definitely use them again for future jobs.

The project went excellently, we are very happy with end result. Charlie was very easy to work with, was flexible with our time table, he also worked very well with our landscape architect, using both his and her ideas to create a beautiful, functional result.

Charlie was very professional. He was responsive, punctual, and his prices were very competitive. His workers were also professional, focused and timely. I'm very happy with their work and would recommend them without reservation.

I found Rolling Stone on Angies list and it had already gotten good reviews. I emailed Charlie and he responded in less then 10 minutes. I explained that I was looking for someone I could trust as I was tired of friends saying I know a "guy". I couldn't really put into words what work I needed and he said he would come by and take a look and give me his opinion what should be done. After seeing what was needed he sent me a estimate of all work to be performed, the price seemed very fair so I agreed to the estimate and set a date for the work to commence. Charlie came to my home on May 13th handled everything personally and explained everything to me before any work was done. He answered all my questions and concerns without any hesitation. The men who did the work were polite and respectful and cleaned up the work site everyday. The work was done in 3 days. Charle's estimate came in about $2500 - $3500 less then the 3 other estimates I received. The new Flagstone looks beautiful. You can see the time and patience spent laying the stone, making sure the pitch to draw water away from the house was correct, and all the detail in making all the spacing between the stones perfect. Beautiful clean work that put a smile on my face, but more importantly a smile on my wife's.

I found Charlie (Mr. Vaccaro) to be highly professional. patient and proficient. Charlie's team/workers were pleasant, skillful and very neat.

Charlie is most of all a very good businessman. He was always very responsive to my messages and took as much time as needed to explain what was going to happen and to talk through any questions about his work or options I was thinking about to change the scope of the project. We made a few changes during the project and he incorporated them accurately with no problem. The price was fair and he was on the low side of the 6-8 bids I received on the project. His crew showed up on time every day and worked really hard. I would say the quality of the work was very good as well. We asked for the blue stone on the patio to be fitted in a natural pattern and Charlie had to sift through each piece to find ones that would fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. The end result is exactly what we wanted and looks very natural, like it has been there for some time. He also recommended we build a sitting wall to outline the patio and it was a great suggestion. I would recommend the work of Rolling Stone to everyone, and most of all it was a generally hassle free and enjoyable experience.

We gathered quotes from multiple sources and went back and forth with Charlie several times, but ultimately we went with a different company. However, we were very impressed by Charlie's responsiveness and professionalism. Maybe we'll have him do our patio one day!

Overall, they are generally responsive, timely, and have integrity. There were some communication challenges to address leveling, width, etc. Some of these might require some teaking in the Spring. However, the work done was top notch, and the pricing was reasonable. As there were three parties involved, including the landscaper, we probably needed to be more in synch at the outset.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the work that Charlie Vaccaro and Rolling Stone Masonry did at our house. Charlie was very easy to work with. He was always prompt and punctual in working with us, and very cooperative in going over the plans with us to ensure that our needs would be met. His professionalism was outstanding, the very high quality of the final results are extremely pleasing to us.

He came out, looked at the work, and then never delivered a plan per the deal. I reached out, he apologized and said he spoke to Angie's list about a refund.

Charlie and team did an excellent job. Very professional. Completed the project ahead of schedule and the finished product looks fantastic. Strong recommendation for Rolling Stones.

While I did need to remind the owner once to provide the quote, he did deliver the quote via Email, and when I let him know I had not received it, he promptly hand delivered a paper copy to the mailbox outside my home. I chose to use another contractor but would consider this company again for another project. The owner, Charlies is very courteous and pleasant.

Let me start by saying I am a perfectionist. Rolling Stone not only lived up to the expectations but they went above and beyond. They came under the time frame they stated and not a dollar more. The detailing was something that belonged on the MTV show "Cribs". Mr. Vaccaro always answered his phone and was forth right with all of his information. I really don't understand how this company is not getting every job on this site. I have access to several masons but this work can't even be classified in the masonry field, it should be under artists. The designs and visions they bring to the table is amazing as well. Do yourself a favor look no further.

So glad that Rolling Stone Masonry did the work. Both the wall and the patios were done beautifully and look great. Charlie offered suggestions and sent a proposal shortly after stopping by assess the situation. Appreciate that Charlie did all the leg work with the town - whether/type of permits were needed, inspection, etc. His communication and the professionalism of he and his workers couldn't have been better. I thought it was a very fair price for such good work.

We decided to go with another company simply because of the proximity to our home, however Charles was very easy to deal with and even came to our house a second time to meet my husband. We may use him for the next phase of our project as his pricing is very competitive and he is professional and responsive.

Cant say- no appointment made. I would like a refund.

Provider came and asked us what we wanted. He was very personable. He made suggestions for a good deal of work. He then said he would prepare a proposal and would hand draw a diagram of what he was proposing. He then sent the proposal with dollar values for the work and a hand drawn sketch of the work. In essence, we paid to get a bid on our project.

I don't have a McMansion or lots of money - just a small house on a lot that needed a retaining wall. Provider came to look at job - seemed knowlegable about stonework and may have been (judging from website photos) creative & talented as well, but likely was not interested in my simple, utilitarian project because the labor quote provided was (IMHO) outrageously overboard at $32/sq ft WITHOUT any stone included in the price!

He is very professional and nice. He called right away and arrived promptly for our estimate appointment. I would certainly use him in the future but unfortunately I am not able to complete the work at this time.

It went great, he was very responsive to all my questions over phone and email. He finished the job and I had one doubt about one part of the steps, he quickly re-finished them to my satisfaction. Would def. recommend him for other jobs.

They were on time and completed the job in two days. The quality of the workmanship was great and there were no hidden surprises as far as cost of the project. I would use them again and plan to. As far as their pricing they seem to be right in the middle compared to their competition.
