Charlie met with my wife and I and reviewed several options and price points for a new masonry retaining wall and to repave the driveway. After we made our selection Charlie personally dropped off stone samples at our house to ensure that we would be happy at the end of the day. The job was completed in two days without issue and we love the results. We couldn't have asked for better client care or a better job done. Everything went really well. Charlie is responsive and easy to work with. The estimate was clearly laid out, easy to understand and the finished job matched scope and price. He came to the house several times before being hired to go over design and revisions and also met my wife and I at the stone yard to help pick cost effective materials to stay on budget. Fast, professional and respectful work crew. Job was done exactly on time. I would easily recommend them to anyone and will use them again for some future projects.

It went well and they were very competitive on price. There were some delays in getting started due to the weather holding back their other jobs, but once started the crew worked through some extremely hot days to get our work done as quickly as possible. The work was of highest quality and the finished product looks great! They had missed one small detail and promised to come back to fix it. They did as promised. Highly recommend for your masonry needs.

The job went great. Charlie was a cool guy and made sure everything went smoothly. The work happened on schedule and was finished faster then I would have anticipated. The final outcome was beautiful!

This review is long overdue! I can't say enough about Charlie and his crew! They do amazing work and would highly recommend him to friends family etc!! Charlie was very responsive from the quoting process through the end of the job. He was onsite multiple times everyday. He and his crew helped us transform our backyard patio that wasn't used into an amazing space we enjoyed all spring summer and fall.

I hired Rolling Stone Masonry to do work around my home in July. The owner, Charlie Vaccaro, was a pleasure to work with. He returned all my calls promptly and checked on the work being done daily. Workers Joakim and Segundo arrived early every day and worked so hard all day. Charlie carefully listened to what I wanted and did everything to complete the job as requested. Everything came out beautifully, and I am very happy with all the work that was done. I would recommend Rolling Stone Masonry very highly to anyone needing work around his or her home or business.

Superbly! As a longtime home owner I've dealt with many contractors. Charlie Vaccaro and his team are by far among the very best I've ever hired to do work on my home. Charlie and his entire team are extremely professional, highly skilled, and very personable. Charlie was honest and accurate as to the start and finish dates. His team worked straight through on the job and finished it in three days (the third only necessary because of weather). Pricing was competitive and included obtaining the necessary building permit. And the finished product is beautiful! My expectations have been exceeded. You definitely want to work with Charlie and his team. Definitely!

Charlie's crew showed up on time, worked very diligently straight through until they finished the job 8 days after starting. We like the quality of the work, and they did a good job of cleaning up each day throughout the job. No surprises on the scope of the work or it's cost: both were spelled out clearly in advance and did not change during the course of the work. Charlie is a good communicator, and checked in with us regularly during the course of the job, making sure everything was satisfactory. Charlie is a consummate professional. He provided a clear and concise proposal with all the terms outlined and the costs of his services and most importantly he stayed within my budget. His staff was punctual, flexible, reliable and they kept the job moving along even though weather was a constant issue. The end result is beautiful and puts a smile on my face. Charlie did an excellent job! He was professional, responsive, and very flexible as we changed the scope and design of the plan a couple of times. Installation was incredibly efficient , fast and minimally disruptive. We were able to enjoy the patio soon after installation.

Contractor gave price and start date. He did not show up or call. When I called he did not apologize, but gave another start date. He did not show up.

We were very impressed by Charlie's knowledge, punctuality, and attention to detail. He gave clear and detailed estimates, and full warning about several issues that might arise during the course of work. His pricing was fair and by item was in line with other estimates. I felt confident that there would be no surprises during the project and that the job would be completed neatly. In the end, we were not able to go through the project as we had planned, but I appreciate the time Charlie gave us.

The project went smoothly from quote to project completion. I could not have asked for it to have gone better! I really appreciated that Charlie worked with my small budget. Charlie and the Rolling Stone Masonry team were professional, friendly and punctual. The work is beautiful and such an improvement from what it looked like before. They created a lovely design on my stone walkway. There were additional things they noticed as they were repairing some loose steps and they repaired them at no additional charge. That was really nice of Rolling Stone Masonry. I would definitely recommend Rolling Stone Masonry and will hire them again to do masonry work.

This was a big deal purchase and it was great. I used them right after I purchased the deal. It cost more than the $399 price of the big deal. I thought the price was fair, but it was high. I am still happy with the work. It was kind of a pre-snow type of fix, that kind of thing. I recommended him to my brother and my brother was not happy at all. He did not use this company and said the price was way too high. I think I did okay and my brother thought I did okay. I have referred him to two people and both people said they were too high. The quality of his work was very nice. I will call him again if I want an estimate. He was a very personable guy and I think he did a really good job; I have no problems with that.

Initially, I was pleased with the work done. The mason laid stones out in accordance to how they used to be. After a few months, puddling began on the walkway. It's been just over a year, and the work has been failing for months. I called to get the mason to come back out and fix the issue, but he refuses. I signed a contract that guaranteed this work for two years, and now he won't honor it.

Recommended company. Purchased the big deal and was given a quote for repairing a damaged retaining wall. Company was professional but I was not aware the significant cost it would be to repair what I wanted so they suggested a refund, which was given back.

We have done a ton of work on our home that we purchased almost two years ago... I have dealt with several contractors and have not found any of them to even compare to the professionalism that this company brings to the table. Upon contact Charlie, the owner came onsite and gave a full estimate on the proposed projects, and was honest about what really needed to be done versus repaired. Within a few days as promised I received a detailed quote via email. He was responsive and easy to deal with to get the job going. We agreed upon a date, and a deadline as we had a party planned. His crew showed up on time everyday, worked through heavy rain when necessary. They were respectful and cleaned up everyday, we had terrible weather and yet they were able to complete the job as agreed. His crew are all true masons, these guys are not just laborers! I am a control freak, and very OCD... I was shocked how much we all thought alike and how much workmanship and care went into the work. I would hire them 1,000 times over. We had several quotes, Rolling Stone was the most fairly priced and you will be impressed with the quality and reliability you will receive.

It was not well. We got a refund for that. The guy complained that the drive was too far from his local business. He quoted us an astronomical price beyond what we thought we would pay. They quoted us between $1500 and $2000. I had a fair interaction with them. The quote was fairly detailed.

Charlie V. had been extremely responsive and meticulous with his work. Provided detailed scope, was honest about timing and came through on all accounts. His workers were timely and always left the job clean. Upon completion he inspected and made sure I was completely happy, which I was. I will utilize his services for future jobs and highly recommend.

During the last 2 weeks of July, owner, Charlie Vaccaro, looked at the propose project of installing a new patio, left an estimate, and reference of projects completed with other clients. Rolling Stone's estimate was competitive in comparison with other contractors. I followed-up in calling Mr. Vaccaro's references and received great reviews and positive feedback about Rolling Stone's work. I proceeded to hire Rolling Stone for the work. A contract was signed on July 28 with a 10% deposit of $500.00. Mr. Vacarro estimated to commence the project during the last week of July, however, he did advise that it could be a week later due to possible delays of projects in progress. This held true and Rolling stone started work on September 3rd. From the onset, Rolling Stone was very professional and communicative in returning phone calls. Removal and new installation of a paver patio was completed within the three day timeline. Mr. Vaccaro was at the sight everyday overseeing the work by his crew. My wife and I are very happy with the patio. Mr. Vacarro and his crew were very professional, servicing, and clean. We are completely satisfied with the patio and Rolling Stones's work. I totally recommend Rolling Stone and would definitely use them again.
