One of the reasons we bought this was they said they would clean the ceiling fans, they didn't. They said it would be an extra $30.00 for their cleaning products and vacuums, tools, etc. We paid it. They were surprised with that and asked for our vacuum, paper towels, and still accepted the money. They did not vacuum the furniture or mats. When I said we wanted the beds made, but not to worry about changing the sheets this time since we just got in from vacation, she said that would be extra. I said it was listed as part of the package. When they left, the sink still had crumbs in it. The recycle pail was still full. The cabinets were not wiped down. The hand towels in the bathroom were not folded. Things were shoved around and not put back. At the 2.5 hour mark we were told they wouldn't have time to do a good job but if we paid more money they would stay. we turned that down and told them to just finish the day. They didn't have to touch two of the kids' bedrooms at all. We were VERY surprised since this company got such wonderful reviews and A ratings. We were hoping they were going to live up to their reputation. We would definitely not use this company again.

Came in, i showed them what i wanted cleaned, and they got straight to it!. No slacking, no down time, no talking... just straight cleaning the entire time. I love that! These people were about business and just want to satisfy the customer. I see why so many people use this company.

VERY WELL. THE PROVIDER WAS ON TIME AND DID EVERYTHING THEY WERE ASKED TO DO.

I am using them for the second time today and they are doing a great job again.

I was very impressed with the housekeeping work performed. The two ladies worked hard and did a very nice cleaning job on a house that certainly needed it! I would definitely recommend this company and would nor hesitate to use them in the future!

We hired Ula specifically for cleaning our blinds after moving in to a 3 bedroom ranch. The house was in good condition and we cleaned it after moving in. We like to keep a clean home ourselves. We just didn't want to clean all the blinds and windows. When they arrived, we instructed them to start with the windows and blinds as that was our priority. If there was time left over at the end, we told them to vacuum and mop and go from there. We left the house to stay out of their way and when we came back a few hours later, none of the blinds or windows were done. I could go on about how unpleasant the rest of the experience was but I'm not one to trash people or companies. Just stay away from Ula.

This was my first time ever using a cleaning service for my house, so i didn't know what to expect. Two women showed up at my house and got to work right away. They did a very good job cleaning every room of my house. They cleaned the floors, windows, shelves and dusted every surface. I am completely happy with the service.

We had an appointment with ANNIE SHINES CLEANING. Annie asked us to remove everything from the counters, tables, etc. which took a few hours the night before. Next day I receive a TEXT MESSAGE (not a phone call) canceling our appointment. We were in a panic, so I called Housecleaning by Ula. They couldn't have been more understanding. Since, we didn't want to have to put everything back for a second time, they were able to rearrange their schedule to accommodate a same day cleaning. Two ladies showed up promptly at 2pm and were finished three hours later. From top to bottom, the house was cleaned. As for the price, $175.00 isn't bad for same day service. This was our first time using a cleaning service and we are definitely going to use them again!!! Thank you!!!!

It was excellent. Scheduling was very easy and the work was done well. They provided a good service, did what was expected, and were professional.

Excellent. job. Very honest..While cleaning out some rarely used cabinet space, the young woman found $400 in cash which I had completely forgotten about.,She could easily pocketed the money and I would have never been aware of it. Instead she told me she found the $400 and gave it to me. In a sense, I made money on the house cleaning job. I gave her a nice tip in addition to the $150

I hired them for eight man hours because I know it takes six to clean my house very well and that with all four bedroom being cleaned. (They were only cleaning two) I figured I'd have the extra two hours for detail. For one- they left 20 minutes early (totaling 40 man minutes) when I went over my home after they left it was still dirty. There was coffee on one of my tables that had spilt (it was still there and I specifically showed it to them) My cabinet in the basement was still dusty. The basement floor was filthy you could see feet marks and streaks all over the floor. I swept the floor and had a pile of stuff to pick up after it was cleaned. They mixed all the clean rags with the dirty rags so they all had to be cleaned. My kitchen cabinets had all streak marks on them (the ones that were cleaned) I told them that the sheets in the two bedrooms had to be changed and left them out and when I went into my sons room his bed was made and the sheets were still sitting there they said they didn't see them so they had to redo it. The cabinets in my living room were not wiped down they were left dusty. Also the stuff on my husband dresser was thrown in a draw. (No one should be opening his draws to put anything in) I sent pictures to Ursula showing her things I found and had no response. It seems that they looked to see what had to be done and went in slow motion to use up the time. I have had different cleaning services over the years and this one was one of the worst. I'm not even sure that the girls that were here ever cleaned a house before.

Two women showed up, on time and with all necessary cleaning supplies. They were friendly. I walk them through the house discussing all the areas I wanted cleaned (basic instruction given). That's all it took, the entire place cleaned nicely. Area included three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen (with appliances), windows, cabinets, closets, dining and living rooms. I left them there and they locked-up when they left. Upon my return, I was completely satisfied with the job done. I will definitely use them again for future move-in/move-out cleaning.

The women ula sent to clean were lovely. They arrived promptly and cleaned thoroughly. They worked quickly and efficiently. When I asked if additional cleaning could be done, one was able to stay three hours longer. Ula later came. She looked at what had been done and asked if I was satisfied. These are very nice people. I recently had construction done. The house is a mess. Ula set me up with a kong appointment for next week. I know I will be very pleased when I have my house clean again.

Staff did a satisfactory job cleaning our home. We were not overly impressed.

Staff arrived early and throughly cleaned our home even without our presence. I definitely plan on using them again.

It went well we have used this service several times until we left for the winter. We will use them again in about 2 weeks.

Initially, there was a problem with communication regarding scheduling with Ula but once we got past that everything went smoothly. The two women Ula dropped off were very pleasant but did not understand English very well and had a difficult time understanding what I said to them. They also could not speak it well so they could not make me understand what they were saying. Other than that I had no complaint and would use the service again.

I am very, very happy with Housecleaning by Ula! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family The team of 2 ladies that came did a deep clean of my 2-bedroom/1.5-bathroom apartment. They thoroughly cleaned every room, took their time dusting, wiped down baseboards, changed bedsheets on one bed, washed the interior of my windows, wiped down windowsills, vacuumed up cat hair & litter, and even wiped down my old blinds. They did a fantastic job on my carpeted steps too! I was also really impressed with how well my floors turned out when they used my "Shark" steam mop. Days later and my apartment is still sparkling clean! I will probably schedule Housecleaning by Ula's deep clean once a month. To sum up my review; I recommend Housecleaning by Ula to anyone looking for meticulous cleaners that are reliable and affordable, whether it's just a deep clean or scheduled regularly.

To say I was disappointed by this service is an understatement. I paid Ula $200 and bought $100 worth of cleaning supplies that barley got any use from the two woman sent to my house. I left a very detailed list for them and several things were missed. One entire bathroom was left untouched and a disgusting rag was found behind another toilet. The baseboards, bottoms of tables and chairs and under the beds were dusty - more so then how we left them for the team to clean. Below is the note I sent Ula on her website giving her a chance to make things right, to date we have heard nothing from her. Shortly you will see an apologetic reply from her stating that she doesn't understand how we could say these things, its her standard reply. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Hi Ula, Last Thursday you sent a team of 2 to "deep clean" our home at XXX. Both my wife and I were very disappointed with the service. It was as if only things at eye level were cleaned. Baseboards, bottoms of chairs, under the beds were all left dusty. We found dirty rags behind one toilet and one entire bathroom was left untouched. The windows were very streaky, as if the same wet cloth was used for everything. I purchased all the supplies you suggested and some weren't even used, example is the Easy Off oven cleaner. Not only was it not used, but the inside of the over wasn't touched. We left a very specific list for your team and obviously this wasn't enough. I will give you time to reply before I post any comments publicly, which at this time would be very negative.

They were great. They were coming close to the end of the time we had bought via an Angie's List deal so they came to me and said they had a certain amount left to do, and we said to go ahead. When they were finished, I talked to their manager on the phone and she gave me the price. VERY reasonable for the amount of hard work they did.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List originally. They are now coming every other week. I find the company easy to work with and very responsive. They are flexible if we need to change schedules. They do a great job. They ladies are pleasant and come in and do a great job. I leave them with my cleaning supplies, rags and paper towels. I just prefer that they use the products I like. My house is always fresh and ready for company when they leave.

I am revising my 8/1/14 Review of Housecleaning by Ula. After I had subsequent conversations with her about the team she sent to my home. It appeared that one of the duo did not understand my needs. The other member came by to try to help & it took time away. As this was a move in move out service, & chalking it up to a hard day. Ursla refunded me, so I can say she is reliable & refunded me my whole refund. That showed her committmrnt to excellence.

This is the first time we used a company for housecleaning... we have always used individuals. The company is big enough to add a level of professionalism, and small enough to give personal attention. Not only is the cleaning the best we ever had, but there is also a superior level of professionalism and reliability. Ula personally came to the house and gave us an accurate quote, and they always confirm appointments the day before. We have been very pleased in every way with the results and price.

I found this house cleaning service on AngiesList a few months ago. I was happy with their reviews and their pricing structure. Their cleaning crew was brusque but appeared to work diligently when I was there. Over the continuing months their thoroughness dwindled. Dirt and dust were left behind open doors, against the wall, and also under furniture. Additionally, hard water stains were also left behind. They also consistently failed to place garbage can liners in our bins throughout the house, despite being asked to do so. When these concerns were brought to the owner's attention, she said she would speak to the team. She said their response was that the hard water stains were "clean" but only appeared to be cleaner the first time they did it because it was a new experience. We quickly put that theory to rest when we used a Magic Eraser ourselves and got rid of the stains. She also said that the cleaning crew was as thorough as they always have been. I appreciate her desire to stand by her team, but her customer service was clearly lacking. This was all made readily apparent when she told them not to come to our house on their scheduled day without any sort of indication to me that she was doing so. We were going to use this service for our move-out cleaning job, but I couldn't in good conscience trust them with the state of our former residence upon moving out. She tried to work with me to schedule a make-up date when I contacted her, but I just can't trust this company any more. I need a cleaning crew to do a better job than what I am capable of, there is a reason it's a paid-for service.
