The two person crew showed up on time and did a very good job--they also made some great suggestions on how to make certain rooms show better. I was very happy with the service. It did end up costing a little more than the original estimate but that was because they needed more time than was originally projected.

I was very specific of what had to be done - it was all pretty simple cleaning. I needed an empty apartment cleaned -a very small bathroom and tiny kitchen area, wipe out the cabinets, clean a small refrigerator and stove. Dust the moldings, windowsills, blinds, room corners, etc. Nothing tremendous. No furniture to be dusted. Didn't need any floors done since I'm having the carpets cleaned. There were 2 girls for 2 hours each, so that should be 4 hours of cleaning - plenty of time to finiish this relatively small job. I mean - I could finish it myself in 2 hours, but decided to go with Angie's List and found Ula's Housecleaning. I explained everything to Marta, who was very pleasant and always said okay to everything I said. I left them alone to do their thing, but whenever I checked in, I noticed they were doing things I didn't ask and not doing what I did ask. I told them no vacuuming since the carpets were being cleaned, but when I came in Angela was vacuuming. When I asked if the blinds had been cleaned, they told me yes, until I showed them that they were still very dusty. Angela stopped vacuuming and started to do the blinds, in slow motion. I pointed out to Marta that the shower doors were still very dirty, and she said she'd do them again. By the time they left it was dark, but I was furious when I checked it in the daylight next day. Inside the cabinets weren't touched at all - food crumbs weren't even wiped out, let alone cleaning them. The kitchen sink wasn't sparkling like it normally does after I clean it... a little soft scrub (which I gave them) and it should be glowing, but I noticed they just used wet rags and a bucket of Fabuloso for just about everything. It doesn't work when something needs a little scrubbing. The stove top was cleaned, but the knobs and around the knobs were left completely greasy. The bathroom was even worse. The faucet had brown g*** stuck around the handles - I only took a sponge and Clorox spray cleaner and it came right off. I gave them every kind of cleaning product to use, but they seemed to only use the wet rags and Fabuloso and did a quick wipe, but didn't try to clean the areas that were clearly dirty. The shower doors had black gunk stuck in the track corners, which I clearly pointed out in the beginning, but I guess they don't like to clean the dirty parts. Outside and inside the toilet were disgusting. Behind the toilet was left in a ton of dusty filth and I almost gagged when I looked under the toilet rim. Ursula said she'd have the girls back to complete the cleaning properly, but I almost felt that she didn't believe me, so I took pictures of everything to show her how dirty everything still was, but she didn't reply. She kept saying how good their reviews were. After starting to clean it again myself and really seeing how poorly it was done, I'd rather not have them back. It should be second nature to clean a bathroom properly, especially if you do it for a living. I am very surprised that others seem to be happy with their services, according to the reviews. I wonder if people are being completely honest about their experience. I mean, I thought Marta and Angela were very nice and I felt bad when I complained to Ursula about them. Are people holding back? I'm not talking about missing a spot here and there, this was a very bad cleaning job. Did I just get them on a very bad day?

I called a few places to see who could do a post-renovation clean-up of our house before we moved in the next day. Unfortunately because I procrastinated everyone I called said it was impossible on such short notice - except for Housecleaning by Ula! The owner, Ursula, was very responsive and was able to get two of her staff to come in that afternoon. They worked hard to clean up all the dust from the walls, moldings, and windows from flooring work that was done in the home. They also disinfected three bathrooms, the kitchen, and cleaned inside all the cabinets. They came in at 3:30pm and semi-finished at 8:30pm. I say semi-finished because I had them skip the living/dining room and basement because it was getting so late and I still had my 3 kids with me (I had already previously cleaned those areas myself anyway). They did an awesome job! I was so happy to be able to move into a saw-dust free home! Very small issue, there is a little bit of a language barrier but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't communicate with at least one of them about exactly what I needed done.

Bought a big deal from Angie's list, was contacted promptly. 2 ladies showed up to do a deep clean. They did a good normal clean. I have a larger house and am clean anyway so it was good. They were professional and I was not worried having them in my house. I would use ulas company again.

They were very very sweet ladies named Marta and Angela. One spoke English very well so that was good b/c I only speak little Spanish. I thought they did a very very FAST job. I paid for 6 hours of cleaning and well they were done in 2 and a half hours. Hmmm. I know I told them not to change the bedroom sheets so that must take about 45 mins because it's 3 beds. I am overall happy with the cleaning, just one pet peeve of mine is when you move something to dust please please please put it back exactly where it was or make it better don't just leave it all disorganized on the dressers. That's all! I would recommend those two ladies again because they were so sweet and well I felt like I can trust them and they were super fast!! I am happy with the results and my house feels very neat and clean now thanks to Marta and Angela.

Both Ursula and the sisters that came to do my cleaning were so polite and pleasant. Even though the sisters didn't really speak English they were able to understand what I wanted and did a phenomenal job. Will have them back next week

Ursula was very friendly and professional from the beginning. She worked hard to fit into our very tight schedule and her prices were very reasonable. The team she sent were wonderful! They had our tub shining which we didn't even think was possible, they went above and beyond our expectations in the entire house and it was such a huge burden lifted from us as we had so much to do for our wedding and had so many rooms that required deep cleaning. We will definitely be using them again!

It always goes well. They are very professional. They clean your house like you would clean it. Again, I have been using Ula for many years and I am lucky to have found her right away. I recommend them to anyone for excellent housecleaning.

All I have to say is great job! Owner, Ula was a pleasure to meet as well. She came over to give me an initial estimate and we both worked around my crazy schedule. Very lovely woman, and the ladies did an awesome job!

She does a good job, when I had an emergency she sent someone out the next day which I appreciated and I would recommend her.

The ladies were punctual, courteous and accommodating. The work performed was top quality and I could not ask for more. Highly recommended from a picky person.

First, I purchased this mothers day special for my mom this year, for four hours of housecleaning. From the certificate : This service includes but is not limited to: Full bathroom cleaning Cleaning inside and out all kitchen Appliances, cabinets Dusting furniture, picture frames, and Other hard surfaces and objects Vacuuming floors and upholstered Furniture Washing floors Change sheets and make beds Cleaning ceiling fans and air conditioning vents My mother needed the inside of the cabinets cleaned after having some construction done in her home, and this was a great way to get it done. She called to schedule the service, and requested a particular day. They said, "let me see if I can reschedule the other job, I'll call you back." They didn't call back. Two weeks later, they call my mother the morning that she had requested to tell her that they were on their way. My mother asked her why she didn't call back, and she didn't have a response. Since my mother was able to make it, she went over to meet them. The two women she sent came with no supplies but WINDEX. I would think if they're not your regular housecleaners, they should come with supplies for whatever jobs they might have to tackle, as stated in the certificate? But no, my mother had to dig out supplies for them and get them set up. Then, they were resistant to do the job until my mother showed them the certificate that it specifically stated inside of the cabinets. Begrudgingly, they did it, complaining the whole time that they weren't empty, etc. I think that if there are 10 lower cabinets, and with two people, you should be able to empty and clean the contents and the cabinet. Especially if that is ALL you have to do. Unfortunately, I got there after they left and I was very disappointed with the work they did. My mothers standard of clean is much lower than mine, and while "good enough" is ok for her, its not good for me. They really did a lazy, subpar clean and you would not know that they had been there or that a clean had been completed. I'm really disappointed, as this was supposed to be a gift, and it was little more than a hassle and a bad experience.

I trust the guys from Housecleaning by Ula. I never saw anything missing in my house. It’s such a nice feeling that you go home if the house is clean. They are the best.

2 people came; one was very good, the other was just okay. I discussed the situation in detail with Ursula the owner of the company and I was very pleased with her response and solution. Ursula expressed how much she appreciated the feed back and has been very courteous. Due to Ursula's response and professionalism, we are going to give it another try to see how it goes then take it from there.

Urszula was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, courteous and very responsive. Overall, I was satisfied with the job that was done. I did notice some areas that weren't cleaned as thoroughly as others; however, the price was extremely reasonable. For the money that was spent, the quality of work was fine.

I had my floors sanded and refinished and rooms repainted. I needed my master bedroom cleaned along with a cleaning of my bathroom and kitchen dining and living room. It is important to note that NONE of these rooms had furniture in them, so the cleaning was straightforward. They first came on Saturday . A lady that was under 5' with a guy who was also the driver. She proceeded to clean the bathroom, when she was finished I asked her what happened to the tiles toward the ceiling she replied I can't reach them ???????????? I then had to ask the man to go over and reach the spots she couldn't get to. Basically their cleaning was substandard and took 4 hours when in the past it took 2 girls 2 hours WITH furniture in the rooms. 2 of the bedrooms I didn't have them clean because all of my furniture was stored in them. I called Ula and told her I was not happy with the work performed. She went on to tell me that she wanted to send another crew to my house, but one of them was sick, blah, blah,blah. Why send anyone if you know they can't do the job. She sent another crew that Monday to fix up what the original crew had missed, like dust on top of the door moldings from the floor sanding. How do you clean a house and not clean the top of the moldings?? They took an additional 1 1/2 hours and when they were finished, I was not satisfied. I really wanted to ask for my money back. Next time I want to spend $165 on house cleaning it won't be with Ula. She will probably respond with I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations, on and on. . Save yourself the money AND the aggravation find anyone else to clean your house

The girls were a little late but after contacting Ursula they arrived within the new estimated time. I received the full amount of service time that was paid for by the end of cleaning (2 girls for 4hrs = 8hrs of service.) Upon arriving Blanca discussed her methods and we decided what products to use and what I expected to be cleaned. Blanca & Maritza were friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with their work. They were eager to get started and were willing to do any special chores.

Ula's team was prompt and professional, and turned my mess back into a clean, happy home! The moved furniture, and even cleaned my tea kettle so I can see myself in it. The whole house is back to normal, and I am thrilled.

Two cleaners came to my house and they were awesome! They did exactly what I had asked of them. They were prompt, professional, and easy to deal with. When they left everything was spotless. It also gives me 'peace of mind' to know that I can trust them. Overall, very nice people and hardworking.

We were moving in to a new home and I wanted the bathrooms and kitchen to be scrubbed clean. That included the frig, oven, counters, cabinets, tubs and toilets. As I am physically unable to accomplish this I decided to search Angie"s List and found a local cleaning service with what appeared to be good reviews and competitive rates. I called and spoke to the owner, Ula who suggested 2 ladies and I believe 3 hours to complete the job. We had agreed I would provide the cleaning supplies, which I did. Two very nice woman arrived about 15 minutes past the hour we agreed on. I explained what I needed done and was very specific about the two bathrooms being scrubbed and the kitchen needing a lot of attention. I walked them through and showed them the specific areas that were in the most need. I was VERY clear as to what needed to be done and what I expected them to look like once cleaned. Because the oven was self-cleaning it was turned on immediately so it would be done and ready to be wiped clean. Though these ladies worked diligently, they seem to be spending time on areas I was not really worried about. I needed the grease and dirt taken off the areas in the kitchen and the toilets and tubs washed and disinfected. I was told not to worry, everything would be done and as we neared the agreed upon completion time it was clear that was not going to be the case. I extended the time 1 more hour and asked them to please concentrate on the areas discussed and not to worry about the floor etc. They were pretty good at diverting attention to other areas and I felt I had no choice but to agree to an extra hour thinking the bathrooms would be done. To make a longer story shorter.....when they left neither of the 2 bathrooms had been touched. The oven had to be cleaned and the refrigerator and and dishwasher still needed to be cleaned of dried on food and grease. It's not that I gave it a white glove test and looked for every little thing..... but after touching surfaces, looking closely and having others see the results clearly these surfaces were still greasy and dirty! I paid all that money and still had to have the bathrooms cleaned and the kitchen appliances redone. As I mentioned, the ladies were not lazy...they worked..maybe they didn't realize what it would take to do this particular job..though I was very specific....This was a NOT professional housecleaning. I'd hate to think they purposely dragged it out to get more hours...I guess I'll never know.

I purchased a "Deal" that I was very happy with. I recieved a call from Ursula soon after purchasing the deal to set up a mutually agreeable time for the cleaning. The two women assigned were on time, polite and eager to get to work. I was extremely satisfied with the work - so much so that I have them in every two weeks. If there is any language barrier (very minimal) Ursula is phone call away.

Overall the experience was wonderful she followed up with me a few weeks later and was in the neighborhood to see if I wanted another cleaning. My house is very tiny and manageable on my own but I would definitely consider her in the future If I want to treat myself

Overall, it went very well. Ula was very pleasant to deal with and the 2 women who did the actual cleaning were very friendly, although their knowledge of English was limited. I would not hesitate to recommend Ula's services to my friends.

I called last minute (very last minute) and they were able to fit me in, even at this busy time of year. The ladies came on time, started working & didn't stop. They were excellent! Very happy with the service.
