Ray's Landscaping

I've had Ray's Landscaping for years. They show up like clock work every week and do a great job. They are a very affordable and reliable service.

I’ve been using Rays Landscaping for years and I’ve never had any issues. They are extremely prompt and reliable. I’ve had problems with landscapers in the past not closing my gate or getting back to me when I call but not with them. The price is right and they even offer prepayment incentives which I now do every year! I can’t recommend them enough!

First I will say they answer the phone !! They show up , do a nice job, and they don't hike their prices up because of the recession.

Got bushes trimmed today. Great value! Owner communicated very well with me. I had the opportunity to request they trim more. They did a great job and yes, I would use them again!! I also have used them for weekly lawn mowing for 9 years & continue to do so.

Terrible in every way. Don't waste your time or money

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They came to our property and ripped up a bunch of expensive plants. The woman owner was incredibly rude, the workers also threw our sun loungers on our flower beds.. I’ve honestly never had a worse gardener in my life. There was terrible communication, the awful owner called my partner twice screaming at him during our bridal shower.

Outstanding professional job! They did a Spring Cleanup on my property, a 1/2 acre, and took 2 hours to complete a task that use to take me weeks! My landscaping never looked so good....

They hacked all of the shrubs around my pond and when I told them how horrible of a job was done I was told they will grow back and there was still weeds all around the pond, in their defense the front shrubs and weeds came out okay. Regardless of how dissatisfied I was they refused to discount what I was charged. Not to mention they weren't good at trimming the corners of my yard and every time I mentioned it to the landscaper I was told I had to call the office.

They had a dispute about cutting front and back. We paid for both to be cut and they only cut the front. Asked for the refund of the difference and never got it back. Also paid for fertilizing and it was never done. Still trying to get a refund after months of no call backs and ignoring phone calls

Ray came by for an estimate the same day that I called about the ad. They arrived on the Day they said they would, and performed all work as described. I was happy with the work they did.

The lawn is perfect

inconsistent, occasionally forget to come, cut the lawn too early in the week so that it is too long on weekends when you want to entertain

My specific instructions included that the service be done in the front and back ONLY for spring and fall clean up. The weekly lawn service was to be in the front only. They were to do the lawn and aerate during the clean ups but not apply any fertilizer or seed to my property under any circumstance. The first week they were here the spring clean up was ok. the following week i look out my window to the back yard when i heard one of my dogs barking and see someone standing in my yard of course it was the lawn company and a person who speaks no english standing a few feet from my loose dog who always have access to the yard. i called the dog in and the company to get the guy out of my yard. they were to place clippings in the fenced area to the side of the garage. he did so the first week. the second time i had to call again to get them to put the bags in the back. they consistently put the bags out front which i had to carry into the fenced area as that wasnt picked up until 6 days later. i specifically had to show them to clean the decorative rocks next to the driveway. each time i would go out there would be leaves and sticks in it. they would blow the loose debri into the corner of the yard rather than removing it. so my 'beds' and corners always had loose sticks and leaves in them. I called the company probably almost a half a dozen times with issues, cleaning out the rocks, leaving the bags in the wrong place, to do the front or back. during there fall clean up last year they did the front, the job was fine. EXCEPT they were supposed to do the whole property. i called to have them do the back, they came the following week. the job was lousy. after all the issues I decided to not use them again for this year. when i received their information for this year i threw it out and did not send in a signed contract. Today i came home from walking the dogs to finding out from my husband that he went out and a lawn company had already finished thatching the front yard. i asked who it was, he did not know, there was no truck in front. he thought it was my new company and asked if they were doing the back. they said no they were only supposed to do the front. he said ok and came inside. of course my landscaper was not here, he has been here doing work for me over the last few weeks in the back and was not scheduled for another 2 weeks for the spring clean up. i made some calls and found out it was ramon rayes, 'ray's landscaping. i told them they should not have been here without me signing a contract with them and that due to the constant issues and poor work that i would not use them again. they said i didnt mail back the paperwork to them. i never opened the paperwork assuming it was a contract to sign as i have had done for companies in the past. the girl on the phone was now screaming at me about how my husband authorized the work, they were finished when he went outside to see what was going on. he said they were here maybe 15 minutes. i hung up on the screaming girl. i called back a bit later to say to mail a bill. then i go outside to look at the job and i see not only are MY ROCKS messy and full of leaves and sticks next to the driveway, but they put POISON on my lawn, little white pellets all over. it took me 2 hours to blow all of this off my property and now they want me to pay for the spring clean up, which if they were supposed to actually do, was supposed to INCLUDE the back. they have gotten it wrong on so many visits here, I am trying to save others the headache of paying for shabby work and dealing with a company that cant follow simple instructions and whose employees scream at customers on the phone.
