BEWARE - THEY KEEP $1,200 DEPOSIT IF THEY CAN'T DO THEIR JOB!!! Upper management doesn't care about customers! A star each for salesman Ron & construction crew since they were great. They tried to put in a window, after removing bushes, cutting multiples holes in finished basement & drilling through foundation, discovered after digging down 4 feet, there was significant water against the foundation. They recommended not completing the job since the water could create issues. We had just bought this house. No outside water leaks, just clay soil holding a lot of water. After agreeing they shouldn't complete installation, I was told they'd be keeping the $1,200 deposit. I argued it wasn't my fault they couldn't do it & was willing to split the difference but was told they had to cover themselves for a loss of revenue. Clearly only caring about their bottom line and not the customer, especially in a unique situation. My wife called again to complain & they sent us a $300 visa gift card.

Called this company because of numerous good reviews on Google, was extremely disappointed through and through. The owner Ryan came by and gave me what seemed to be a fair estimate on replacing two basement windows. I Had to call and Text a few times to get someone to get back to me with a date… workers showed up about the weeks after phone call, busy fine I get it. Two men came, one younger gentlemen who seemed to be a helper and another one who was in a rush to get out as fast as he could. What I was told would be a half day job was done in about an hour. I went to check and all cement was so wet it was actually falling out from under windows. I had to actually press it all back in with my hands, not to mention cement that was also dropped in globs all over basement floor. One week later I go to see how cement has cured and can see sunlight from under both windows, not to mention crumbling cement and cracked all over, too much water in mixture I would assume. Also I realized when I looked they left 3/4 of old window frames instead of new wood around new windows! I mean thrown in. After numerous attempts and text back and forth with company and 2 no shows they came back. The same two guys came and I wasn’t home yet, they immediately told my wife they couldn’t change out wood, I came home and demanded the wood be changed, we payed for new windows! Fast forward a week and a half I go to my basment, freezing… air pouring in from behind windows. The wood was not close enough to house, they stacked it and I can now see daylight through it. I also had to put foam behind the wood to stop the huge amount of air coming in. The space was big enough behind one window I can get my fingers all the way in it, you can see foam from outside pushing between the house and wood. This is far from what the reviews portrayed this company as!

I called Long Island Egress Pros nearly a year ago for a new basement door. Ron came and was very responsive, professional, and gave a reasonable price. I needed a custom size so Ron took some measurements and said it would take some time to get the door from the manufacturer. I also specified that there should be only be three small windows at the top of the door for security and privacy. About a month later, they called to schedule the installation. When the workers arrived, they found that the door was the wrong size. It seems Ron measured the height but never measured the width so the door was far too wide. The workers complained to my wife and said Ron had done things like this before. They ordered a new door again. When they arrived for the installation I noticed that the door had 9 window panes that covered almost half the door. I immediately told them that it was the wrong door again. They left and said they needed to order another door. Nearly six months after my initial call, they finally came a 3rd time to finally do the installation. It was the wrong door again! It fit but it had too many windows. It was not the door I wanted from the very first meeting. They offered me a small discount and I agreed to let them install the door with 9 window panes only because I was tired of dealing with them. The workers that installed the door left a mess. They even dumped extra concrete in my raised garden bed. 5 months later, I noticed water intrusion around my door. I called LI Egress Pros and they made excuses. Glen said that they could make a service call and needed to call me back to schedule it. They never called back. I did some Investigating and found that the water was coming in at the bottom and all around the window panes, the window panes that I never wanted from the very beginning! I would not recommend this company to anyone. They deserve less than 1 star from me. Notice, they are not BBB accredited! DO NOT HIRE LONG ISLAND EGRESS PROS!!!

My experience started off wonderfully. Ron was available and attentive to the project and was able to schedule the installation in a timely manner. The problems came when the work was actually done. The inside finishing work was so bad and unsightly that it had to be redone by my contractor. The amount of spackle that was gooped around the window was laughable. The frame was not square, nor was it nailed together, the wrong nails were used to nail the frame together leaving me with a "Frankenstein" looking mess of nails sticking out all over the place. There was no insulation placed where it should have been. I told Ron about the issues and once again, he was attentive to the issue and said he would look into it. I thought the fair thing would be to cover whatever it would cost me to repair their work. I gave them the price that my contractor gave me (not an inflated price) and was told that they could only compensate me by giving me $100 less than what I laid out. I was told that the person that did my work would be going to finishing school and that he would have a project manager on all future installs. That is great for the next customer, but what about me? Are they sending people to do these jobs that need to go to finishing school? Finally they agreed to compensate me for the full amount that I had to lay out to fix the issue. The only problem is that I am still waiting for the money. Unbelievable to me that a company would not stand behind their work.

Reached out to Long Island Egress Pros a few months ago as they were listed as a recommended installer for Long Island on the ClamDoor compny website. They came to give an estimate and while the prices they provided on replacing some basement windows were good (~$300/windows) the pricing they were saying on the new ClamDoor to be installed were pure ripoff. They straight up lied to me and told me the ClamDoor company had put price increases through which was easily debunked in 2 minutes when I called ClamDoor themselves to question this. Hopefully ClamDoor pulls them off the website as the prices that LIEP charged were insane. The ClamDoor itself costs around $1,650 and ClamDoor told me that typically installed doors run around $2,500-$2,750 (shipping to LI from RI where they are made is an extra $125) and LIEP wanted me to pay almost $4K based on these made up price increases from the company and charging just ridiculous labor rates which they changed after I was almost ready to book. At first they told me their day of labor for two guys costs $1,000 - albeit high we considered still paying that to get this done UNTIL the guy told me "oh no, that is our cost. I still need to make a profit" - why would you tell me your cost and not my cost? Stay away from this company and look for more reputable firm to do your work. Between the crazy pricing, lies about vendors increasing pricing and me having to chase after the guy for responses they strike me as the type of company a news channel would bust in an undercover report. Definitely don't want to hire them unless you like to set money on fire or be lied too.

Due to a severe leak in my basement we called Long Island egress pros to set up a consulting appointment. Ron showed up at our house within an hour. He explained the step by step process and showed us a few Of the jobs that had recently been completed. We decided to move ahead. Ron pulled forward the date for the installation by two weeks since we were nervous about another leak. Ron and his crew showed up for the job a half hour earlier then scheduled and his crew didn’t stop until the job was complete. Ron’s crew were professional and passionate about getting the job done as quickly as possible and as accurately as possible. We couldn’t be more delighted with the finished product and how smooth the process was. We would definitely use Long Island egress pros in the future and we highly recommend this company for any egress installation.

It was a very good experience. They scheduled a survey right away. The salesperson was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and the entire process was explained to me in detail. After I accepted a quote they scheduled and completed the service the very next day. I'm very happy to have two new egress windows in my basement that were good quality and installed professionally as well. The installation went very well. The crew arrived on time and promptly began the work. The installation is perfect. The detail work - interior framing and molding - looks great and the exterior stucco blends in well. I definitely recommend the company.

Ron is the person to go for an Egress. This is what they do every day and it reflects in their workmanship. They have numerous install pictures to show you the different options available. Pricing is reasonable. The crew is clean, efficient and professional. They were able to install a large 48" x 48" window in our basement in one day. They kept the inside and outside so clean, it was as if they werent even there. They are number #1 on my list for recommendation for their work.

I am very happy to have had my egress window installed. I had the "Elite" egress installed in my basement. I wanted a second emergency exit. The work crew showed up at 8am as scheduled. It took a few hours, but it did not stop my day. The brick on the side of my house had to be broken, to install the Elite egress window. The debris was contained in one area, and they cleaned up afterwards. Everything went very smoothly. I'm so happy to have had this great experience, and peace of mind. Thanks Ron.

Excellent. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. Initial visit by Ron to give estimate and subsequent work done was excellent. They came exactly when promised and were totally done same day including all framing of interior space. Really pleasant experience.

Long Island egress pros did a fantastic job installing my egress window. Ron was great he explained all the possible options and was able to schedule the install within a couple of weeks. The crew arrived on time and Ron was there to oversee everything and make sure everything went smoothly. They tented off the immediate area so as to contain the dust from cutting through the foundation. Everything went like clockwork and they finished the instal in one day as promised. I have stained wood trim throughout the space and they went out of their way to match the trim that they installed around the egress. Everything was left clean and tidy. I’m really happy with how it all came out and the amount of natural light that now comes in is great.

Ronnie and his team were on time and performed the job as described. Ronnie was always available to talk prior to the job and was on site during a majority of the install.
