Description of Work: I must say that in my 65 years life and of doing business with numerous individuals, no one was more rude and nasty to me than John O'Connell was today. He came into my home late for the appointment and immediately began to YELL at me for not doing what he suggested the first time. I informed him that I was having heart surgery next week and he continued the tirade calling me stupid. I informed him that I am a college professor and am not a fool, but leak resolution is not my forte'. I assumed that what he did on 6/20/14 would at least solve my issue for awhile. Now, I have a major hole in my wall in the livingroom. When I asked if he was going to repair it he told me that he was not a painter! I also showed him the substandard mortar repair that his staff ( Bob ) did and he agreed that it was poor, not offering to make it right.He offered to fix the leak and roof at a "discounted rate" which came to $6400. I quite amazed that a man with such a short fuse has any business at all. I am seeking advice on this issue. Thank you. Professor C

Description of Work: I had a leak in my ceiling for years paid a lot of money on repairs and it continued to leak. Called leak stoppers the rep knew exactly where the leak was. Of course I was hesitant, but happy to report over a year has passed and no leak. He guaranteed the repair. I am extremely happy and highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreThe owner came the day he said he would to discuss what we wanted done. He went out measured and assessed what needed to be done. He said his wife would call to make an appointment. There was quite a bit of bad weather for the next couple of weeks and we didn't hear from them so we left it up to the fact that it was probably because of the bad weather. But the following week we did call and it turned out she didn't have us on her list. We did make an appointment and they did arrive that day - a couple of hours later BUT they did an awesome job!! My husband was around the whole day and observed them. They were very professional, great attitude and did what they said they would do!! We would have them back!! Excellent job.
Description of Work: We had the back roof replaced. Cleared away all the rubbish.

 + -1 moreThese guys were great. I called the day before they arrived, they squeezed me in and installed (2) large roof vents for bathroom and kitchen exhausts. The guys were efficient, attentive, courteous to my neighbors and even ran a magnetic sweeper around to check for any stray nails, most of what they found was from other contractors we have working for us.

 + -1 moreI used Leak Stoppers Inc. They were here probably here sometime in October/November 2015. They're good. I would use them again. They were suppose to leave me some shingles and they never did. I guess they just forgot. So I called them, nobody came by, he said oh yeah I will and no one ever stopped by. I never followed up with a third phone call and I paid a premium price but other than that they were good.

 + -1 moreJohn was extremely knowledgable when he came to do the inspection. Could have easily sold me a new roof but did not. Work was performed and installers were very professional. Only issue was that they did not take the packaging from the new sky light nor the old sky light. Other than that all went well.

 + 0 moreBrian came to give me an estimate on repairing some shingles that came off my roof during a severe wind storm. We were satisfied with his estimate and asked that the job be scheduled. About 10 days later (delays due to weather), he called to say he would be there on the following day between 8 and 10am. He arrived at 9 am and started work with one other worker. It took them about an hour to replace the shingles and he did a ?walk? of the rest of the roof. He discovered other loose shingles & repaired them. We had used this company before and were pleased with their price and overall workmanship. I would use Leak Stoppers again for any future work.
Description of Work: Repaired & replaced roof shingles.

Description of Work: Referred by my college friend who lives down the street, John repaired a leak in the roof and also repaired an area near my gutter that was also questionable in appearance. Additional services included moving my bathroom vent fan x 2 from dispensing into attic and now out to roof. He repaired rubber backings that also surrounded various other pipes on my roof. Excellent job, very proffesional. Its been 3 weeks and no leak thus far

Never insisted all his recommendations had to be done as some items could be staged over time. I decided to do all but one recommendation which i am likely to do at a later date. Appreciate the amount of time John spent educating me. Work was done well and no issue since so far. Recommended John to a college friend who lives a few blocks away with a leak as well.

 + 0 moreI had an estimate which provided pricing for different levels of work. I went with the intermediate repair and pricing but if I decided to redo the whole roof I would use them again. I waited to do the review to ensure there were no more leaks and am very pleased to say finally leaks have been stopped. All contacts and discussion were professional and I never felt pressured to do more than I could afford. I have had this flat roof fixed twice previously and still had issues until now.
