Description of Work: They gave me an estimate on a roof repair. Ultimately I did not use them as more extensive work was needed around my home and I end up hiring another contractor. But the owner was courteous and the estimate was fair.

Description of Work: Replaced the tops of four skylights and sealed around skylights. It has rained heavily since and I see no sign of a leak. Wish the tar around the skylights was applied a little neater and the man who sold me the job was no where to be seen on that day but they seem to have stopped the leaks.

Description of Work: Nothing. Called and spoke with fellow about getting them to give us a bid to replace our roof. I left my name. Phone number and address with him. He said he would TRY to get out in a couple of days. It's been over a week and we've not heard from them.

Description of Work: Installed 5 roof vents, one bathroom vent, one skylight and created soffits under the eaves for venting the attic. |Overall, they were nice, but we had a few hiccups: From a late start, to late finish, to insulation left on my front lawn, to slight miscommunication on scope of work. But the major ones were the skylight and debris removal. |The skylight casing started coming apart from the frame (due to unsecured installation). They fixed it the next day, but could've been avoided. |The only other thing that was upsetting was the amount of nails I found sprawled in my backyard from where they threw the removed roofing nails. I have a long handled magnet that collect all the nails (I hope): it was surprisingly a lot. If my girls ran into the backyard, they would've easily been hurt. |Overall, LeakStoppers was professional and friendly which is rare nowadays. AND their price was pretty good. |I would absolutely use them again, but not before confirming every detail from start time to scope of work to clean up/follow up. |

Description of Work: Met for the original consultation. Agreed on a price and they nevered showed up to do the work. Had to use another vendor.

Description of Work: Corrected errors by prior contractors to stop roof leaks. |Haven't had heavy rain to date to test their work.

Description of Work: Installed a new skylight. Workers were very courteous. They cleaned everything up after work was done. It is too soon to rate the quality of the work but it looks great.

Description of Work: we have had a leak in the roof of our extension for many years. we have had the roof repaired at least five times only to have it leak again. John the owner of leak stoppers suggested a different approach called a flat roof system.so far so good . I am waiting for our first northeaster and winter snow storm before giving a full thumbs up. The two men who did the job spent two days and twenty two hours on the project and were both professional and tireless. | | |

Description of Work: Inspected the roof for leaks and need for repair (was told everything look good); replaced 6" gutter with 12" gutter (front of the house), repaired garage roof (flat roof)and replace rotted wood, etc., apply caulking around 2 windows and extend gutter drainage away from house. | |Took a while to get the gutter replaced. Garage roof was repaired quickly; had to be reminded about the caulking around windows ($600 cost) (took less that 15 minutes to get it done. | |I think that a misunderstanding regarding the original deposit set the tone for the way the job was completed. John did not contact me directly to discuss. | |I still have leaks from the roof!

Description of Work: Repaired two leaks in the roof. Since then, there has been no problem, even after a record rainfall. I appreciate that I was not pressured into buying a new roof and that what was promised was delivered. (I initially paid $85. via Angie's List for the onsite estimate).

Description of Work: After a massive rainstorm, we discovered a leak in the roof. Called and they responded quickly and came over and gave a detailed estimate with pictures that were taken on an iPad. Scheduled the job and the rest was history - showed up on time and completed the job as promised.

Description of Work: Had an estimate to replace an existing skylight, nice people but I thought the price was really high.... did not use them

Description of Work: Leak Stoppers was called in to diagnose a serious ice dam on the rear of the house at the beginning of March. John O'Connell, the owner, responded quickly, and found the ice dam to have been the result of inadequate venting between the eaves and the ridge. After weighing the various options that John provided, we opted to have a complete tear-off, which in addition to properly venting it, also allowed an ice shield underlayment to be added to the roofing system. | |The roof was replaced in April by a crew of six. Their work, from tear-off to clean-up, was meticulous. I have no hesitation in recommending Leak Stoppers.

Description of Work: We had a leak the origin of which could not be definitely confirmed (possibly old antenna brackets). Although he suspected the possibility of high wind and vent location issues, he did not try to push the far more expensive alternative of also moving the attic venting. He believed we should start w/the least expensive possible solution. Time and heavy rain will tell, but he was excellent. If we need to go beyond the old hardware removal and extra tarring he did, I will call him again.

Description of Work: THEY CAME AND LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST AND WHEN THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE LEAKS. THEY WERE VERY PROMPT. |I LIKED WHAT I SAW AND HEARD AND TOLD THEM TO DO THE JOB. THEY SHOULD DO IT IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS.

Description of Work: Fixed a leak in roof and unlike some others did not try to talk us into a new roof. Also removed tree branches too close to the roof. Also pointed out some mold that formed from the prolonged leak.
