Description of Work: Randy Birr and his crew worked at my house to install a 5 ton central air conditioning system with new ductwork etc. It was an incredibly involved process which he carried out with his crew (all good guys) until the job was completed. A few weeks after it was up and running, he came by to tweak the system by changing out some ductwork that fed my kitchen to make it cooler. He was already completely paid at that point but has a solid reputation for good reason. I would use him again in a heart beat.

 + -1 moreI had called several contractors big and small but no one had time or wanted to talk to me because I neither bought oil from them or they did not work on anything that had the word oil related to it. I even tried to explain that this is the blower motor and not the heater unit. Randy was prompt in answering and was so quick to get the repair completed. He was willing and available to stop by on his way home that day. I really appreciate being able to find and have the pleasure of dealing with such a professional. Everyone is warm and happy again.

 + 0 moreUsing BIRR is an excellent experience. On each separate project Randy clearly expalined the options, and their costs and performance differences. This empowered me to make the best decisions, decisions which have always been perfect for me. With 5 projects behind us I have never look back and either (i) regretted that I check a box for the veritable bell or whistle, nor (ii) regretted the moments when I did not check the box up spend more on the bells and whistles.
Description of Work: Randy/ BIRR Heating & AC have performed and completed numerous jobs for me at a number of locations over the past few years. All of BIRR's work is excellent and Randy, the owner, clearly lays out the paramters of the job in a common sense way- which empowers me, the home owner, to make the best decisions regarding the scope and level of investment for the project at hand. For me, BIRR AC has installed new oil-hot air systems, oil hot-water, central air units and split level AC units. Randy is a very smart individual who is deeply expercienced in HVAC, AND he has the rare gift of speaking in plain English and in a manner which empowers the homeowner. BIRR's prices are extremely reasonable and competitive. I like BIRR AC and Randy because in addition to the professional expertise and smarts they bring, their good nature and honest, ego-free team-approach makes experience that much better. I deeply recommend that you take a serious look at BIRR AC and Randy for any HVAC work; using BIRR is a smart move.
