Tom O'Brien's company, Webster Home Improvement Inc. (WHI), was recommended to me. His roof estimate for a complete tear off and re-shingle was the middle of 5 estimates. It was the most detailed. Upon review with him, he willingly made a few adjustments and suggestions. The work was completed in a timely manner by his competent and courteous crew. As they went about their job, Tom checked their progress periodically through the 2 day work period. They were careful of the foundation plantings and were constantly cleaning any roof debris from the yard. I am most pleased with the result. The completed work looks great! There was an insurance claim on the wind damaged roof. Tom worked with the Insurance Company's Independent Cost Adjuster (ICA) to help reach a fair settlement for the roof replacement. Tom's roof estimate, chosen roof crew, interaction with the ICA agent, and, the job well done, demonstrated to me a contractor of thoroughness, integrity, and extra effort. I will certainly choose WHI for my next major home improvement project.

I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship of this extensive project. Tom O'Brien and his crew were knowledgable and took pride in their work. I plan on hiring Webster Home Improvement in the near future to remodel my bathroom.

Webster Home Improvement previously built our pool deck appx. 5 years ago and that came out great! Tom O' Brien provided a no-pressure estimate on this new deck. We received 2 other estimates and his was the lowest. We contacted him on a Saturday to let him know we would be using his company. He asked when we would like it done (this was the end of May/beginning of June). The other contractors let me know it would be towards the end of summer. Tom said he had a last minute opening in his schedule and his crew could start on Monday. And true to his word, although it was a nasty, rainy Monday, Tom and his crew (Justin and Nick) were there on Monday, and had completed that Thursday. Unbelievable! Tom and his crew were easy to communicate with and responsive to our requests, and all very professional. The price was very reasonable, and just because it was the lowest estimate, the work didn't suffer in the least. Best of all, the deck came out fantastic. I really don't think it could have been any better. We couldn't wait to enjoy our deck. It really has changed the look of our backyard and we use it frequently now. Thanks guys! I highly recommend Tom and Webster Home Improvement and would certainly use them again. Grade A all the way!

Never came back with a price, I guess no one want to just do one door or window-

They've been excellent! We were very happy with them. We liked them a lot. We had used them before too. So we have an ongoing relationship with them. They were very professional, very honest and I thought like I could approach them. With any issues that came up, I felt comfortable discussing it with them.

It went very well. They were very detailed on what they would be doing. They promptly got back to me.

All the work agreed upon was completed. From the beginning we explained to Tom that we were not looking for a bargain job; we wanted attention to detail. We paid more for Tom's services because his references ( before we had Angie's List) checked out very well. We felt that the work done was mediocre. Simple things like our vanity cabinet, due to an ordering error, had to have the doors and drawers swapped side to side and resulted in them not fully closing, and also not using the original hardware hinges (this was an expensive cabinet, too!). The tile work, again looks okay, but simple things like the bullnose edge border should have extended to the floor, and the stone threshold does not adequately pitch to the shower, leaving accumulated water on the surface against the frameless glass door. The work was done in a timely fashion, all things considered, no complaints there. His crew used our garage for prep work, and due to the tile and wood cutting created a lot of mess that was marginally cleaned. MIG provided the frameless door and Solid Surfaces did the counter, threshold, and step in the shower, both top-notch. Again, as to work being completed, everything was done as agreed, but we feel we did not get the full attention of the owner, nor the attention to detail we were hoping for.

It's a very nice experience. The work that they will suppose to be doing is a little high. They are very personable. Their guy didn't pressure us. He was very good. I was really pleased with him but we decided not to because we considered not putting that much money into our house so it wasn't him because we had made a different decision.

Tom O'Brien, president of the company came out and inspected both roofs and prepared an itemized estimate and contract that day. He explained the type of shingles and colors available, and answered all of my questions. He was very friendly and professional. He insisted that certain trees overhanging the roof be trimmed or removed before, he would start the job. I didn't know of a local tree company, he said there was one he had worked with in the past and could schedule the trimming and removal for me. I signed the contract and gave him a deposite. He contacted me regularly by phone and e-mail, within a week or so the trees were gone. Shortly there after the materials and dumpster arrived, we had a short unavoidable rain delay, but the old roofs were off and the new ones on, with clean up, in 21/2 days. I had an additional problem with the damaged vent ring, he came out looked at it and was back the next day and installed a new ring himself. He even helped me with the insurance claim. This was the best house experience I ever had.

I could not have been happier with the job that Tom O'Brien and his employees Tim and Justin did for me. They were completely professional, meticulous, creative, and willing to work with non-standard situations. This was a big project - one that some siding contractors did not even want to handle. Their quality of workmanship and attention to detail was fantastic. Several knowledgeable people have commented on that. One last thing- I have previously had some very annoying workmen here, but not these guys - they were very pleasant to have here and made the process as un-annoying as possible!
