I don't like the " F" word Said to my face. It is a ugly vogler word that has no meaning. The word used by ensecure people that are uneducated. And has the effect of superiority over the listener. Terrible workmanship and poor costumer satisfaction. I was forced to seek another shop to have the job corrected. Not the pride of Webster. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.

I didn't see much difference in performance. Blades were only 1 yr old. I've dealt with Precision before. It hasn't changed... Still lousy attitude even with new people behind the counter.

Excellent. The drive mechanism was not working. The provider checked, repaired and adjusted the drive belts. They saved me a lot of money as none of the drive belts required replacement.
The service was ok as far as delivering the lawn mower. They very much fell down on the job when i needed help. Every once in a while the mower would stall out. After that would happen the accelerator would move in tandem with the brake peddle. This mower required the brake to be depressed but not the accelerator when starting the mower. The accelerator could be released by playing around with the peddles. Twice I asked them to trouble shoot the problem and all they would do was play with the controls until the jamb was freed up. My requests for doing the job correctly were ignored. This spring I used someone else to tune up my mower.
Description of Work: I purchased a riding lawn mower.

I contacted them a few days after they picked it up to find out when it would be ready. They needed a few more days. After two weeks I returned and found they had "fixed" it. They said it was running hot and they adjusted the carburetor as much as they could. They hadn't contacted me because they were waiting for an unrelated part for the snow thrower that wasn't needed. They did not contact me before ordering the part. Luckily their supplier ordered the wrong part and I was able to cancel that order and save $60 for a part I didn't need. They delivered the tractor the next day -- to my old house even though I had updated all my contact information. They did pick it up the next day and delivered it to the correct address [this was the only positive part of the experience]. Instead of 3-5 days, I was without a snow thrower for 2 weeks for a driveway too long to shovel. I had plenty of opportunity to test it out because a lot of snow had accumulated waiting for them to fix and return it. It started up okay, although it did throw out a lot of smoke. After about 15 minutes, the same problem occurred -- slow, fast, slow, stop. I waited five minutes, started it again and it ran for about a minute before stopping again I called Precision back and they indicated the only thing they could do was replace the carburetor, They didn't seem like they knew what they were talking about so I called a local John Deere business. Within 3 minutes of explaining the problem, once they stopped asking why Precision was working on the carburetor, they took 30 seconds to explain one thing to try and another few minutes explaining what to try if that didn't work. I went outside and within one minute had confirmed the problem. It took about three minutes to fix it because I needed to find a needle. It turns out the only problem was that the hole in the top of the gas cap had gotten plugged, creating a vacuum that prevented the gas from getting to the engine. Taking off the cap removed the vacuum and proved that was the problem. Using the needle to clean out the hole fixed the problem. Apparently the symptoms should not have pointed to the carburetor at all. So I spent $200 to get my carburetor adjusted improperly [it still smokes excessively every time I start it up] for a problem that cost me nothing to fix on my own
Description of Work: My lawn tractor with snow thrower attachment was running fine, then within 10 seconds the engine slowed down, returned to normal, slowed down, normal, slowed down, stopped. They picked it up, took it to their shop, and "fixed" it. I also had them replace the battery.
