When the heavy rain came after the wind storms, we discovered that we had water coming into the house. I called Ivan, who had done roofing for us before, hoping that he might get the message and get back to me, even though it was a Saturday. Ivan answered the phone himself, and said he would be over in about two hours to tarp the roof. He did so, and gave me a verbal assessment and estimate to repair; because the existing roof was nearly 15 years old and the shingles weren't made any more, he recommended replacement. He followed with a quote for the exact price he had given me verbally - a very good price. He said it would be a couple of months because of the backlog of work, but that the tarp should prevent further damage, which it did, in spite of the rainy, windy spring. Because of the weather, it was longer than he expected before he could do the work, but once he was here, he and his crew worked steadily through to completion. He kept me updated on what he was finding and took care of a couple of unexpected problems. We had to go out of town before he was finished, and I offered to pay him some of the money before we left to cover the cost of his materials, but he said it wasn't necessary - he would meet with me when we got back. The final bill was exactly what I expected, and the roof looks great! And, we haven't had any more water in the house! This is the second job Ivan has done for me, and I would recommend him for roofing with no hesitation whatsoever.

Ivan did a fantastic job! Very timely, did what he said, when he said he would do it. He is honest and helped out greatly with choices throughout the process. We would definitely call Ivan for future work on our house.

Outstanding service and workmanship. Ivan is a reliable and dependable professional. His quote was on target and his forecast for work start up and finish was dead on. His team of roofers were on time and worked every second they were there. The clean up was exceptionally good. Ivan inspected every day and consistently kept us informed of the progress. He also provided additional services as requested (railing replacement) with highly skilled workmanship. He said at the time we first consulted with him that "they treat your home as they would treat their own" ... and after witnessing their work and results, I truly believe that. No doubt we'll being doing business with Napora in the future.

Back in March I started the process of finding someone to repair water damage created by Ice Dam'ing and at the same time replace some old and drafty doors and windows. After going through five or six contractors we settled on Napora contracting. All of the quoting and discussion is handled by Ivan Napora himself and he is also on the job site doing the work with his crew. Ivan was real easy to work with. He immediately diagnosed how the water was making it into the house and how to fix it properly after repairing the damage. We also discussed the replacement doors and windows. Upon settling on everything and choosing to go with Ivan I asked that he put us in line to get some work done. At this point he was approximately three months out due to winter back ups. That was fine for us and we were patient. Ivan contacted me ready to get to work but at that time we weren't available on the days he had free. So he worked another job that he had in queue and followed up again after it was complete. At this point we were able to settle on a few days to get the work done. On the first day it was just Ivan and one other gentleman. The goal that day was to get all of the doors / windows removed and replaced. This went without much of a problem until he got to one door that had some unseen water damage. Instead of just being a door replacement Ivan had to replace the header above the door and approximately another 4-5 8ft 2x4s worth of wood around the frame. He didn't flinch though and took care of the issue for us at a very reasonable additional cost beyond the quote. Before doing that work he consulted with me to make sure I was ok with the fix and understood that there would be a minor cost increase. Day two was spent repairing the damage and fixing the cause along with trim work inside and wrapping windows / door frames outside. Day three was just a few hours in the AM cleaning up and calking, etc. Ivan and his crew were always courteous and professional and they cleaned up every night before leaving. The job site was very clean upon completion and we are very happy with the work Ivan did. We would definitely use him again.

After having them come out and determine we had a bad a/c unit we schedule time for a furnace check. Was determined that we need a new unit also. Was given a bid for replacement and explained the benefits I will expect. Still collecting more bids but was vary pleased with the service I received.

Ivan helped us figure out what doors to get and stayed within our budget. He noticed things other contractors didn't about what the job would entail. (We got three quotes.) Everything looks beautiful. The crew took care to protect the area of the house they were working in and cleaned up afterward. Ivan was knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. He was also very responsive to emails when we contacted him with questions. We'll definitely call him again, In fact, he's doing a major renovation job for one of our relatives now because we were so pleased with his work.

My ceiling started leaking and a piece of sheetrock caved in due to the weight of the insulation. I called several contractors, including the company that did the roof 12 years ago but everyone is really busy at this time of year. I got Ivan's number through Angie's list, he stopped at my house on his way home at 7 at night. Took a quick look, came back the next morning to do a spot repair so that no further rain would come in. He explained what further work he would recommend and gave me a quote. As other reviews point out, he is busy because his work is high quality, he is conscientious and follows up immediately. When he is available later in the summer the more major repairs and renovations will be completed.

His work was very professional. He was very courteous, answered questions promptly, and good prices. I would recommend him highly and will also in the future.

Awesome - very professional and thorough. Ivan responded to requests and questions almost immediately. He was onsite almost all the time, and the job was done quickly, and efficiently with a wonderful attention to details. At this time we're waiting for the weather to improve so that the finishing touches can be completed. I have already referred him to friends, and plan to use his services in the future.

All work was performed per our agreed upon schedule and estimated cost. Ivan, the owner, was on site working along side his crew 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time the Crew Leader was available on site and Ivan was available via cell phone. All work performed exceeded my and my wife's expectations. Ivan answered all my questions in detail and spent time explaining why they were doing what they were doing. I feel confident all work performed by Ivan and his crew was done properly. I've already recommended Napora Contracting to my friends and neighbors.

Ivan has worked for me before. Last year he put in a breezeway between the garage and house at another location. He did such an amazing job at such a fair price I hired him again to install sliding shower doors and safety bars in my bathroom, as well as to put in cabinets. The tile shower had been installed by someone else and he had to deal with uneven walls and poorly installed tiles. He did such an amazing job I couldn't tell there were any anomalies. He knew just where to put the safety bars and made recommendations I wouldn't have thought of. He put the cabinets just where I wanted and did a few extras to help me out. I live in a 55+ community of 30 residents and I've added his name to the top of our "preferred contractors" list. He really knows his trade. Not only is he a skilled carpenter, but he can do just about anything and has the support of excellent tradesmen to do the "heavy lifting" on specialty or complex jobs. My grandfather was a finishing carpenter "from the old country" and my brother and I learned a lot from him. My brother and I are both impressed with Ivan's work and we're sure our grandfather would approve as well. He's so busy he's sometimes hard to schedule, but he's worth the wait.

Ivan and his crew showed up early on the day he said and started working right away. It took a day or so longer than he expected, but the guys were working even in some rain. I asked if he could make it possible to access the cleanout for the existing dryer vent and he said he would, but went a step further and actually changed the outside vent so that it is easily accessible now. He was always pleasant and also removed his shoes every time he entered the house (without being asked to). We had him come back a week later to replace 2 light fixtures and install a handrail. We would definitely have him do work for us again.

We signed the contract for windows and doors early October 2013 Because he is good, he was already booked 2-3 months, so we got the roof & windows done early December right before the weather turned bad. Installed Siminton 5500 series vinyl replacement windows, probably would go for even better replacement windows if there was ever a next time. Given the labor involved with rapping all the window frame sills in aluminum and condition of all my exterior wood trim I decided to take the plunge and go for all new siding, which got done May 2014 when the weather finally broke. Because he is good, he is now booked out 3-4 months 1st come 1st serve. There were no surprises with Ivan Napora Contracting, Ivan gives you a fair price and makes his money by [himself and his two assistants] working really hard Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30 Ivan Napora is young and full of energy and proud of his heritage. We communicated mostly by phone text, which worked well. Ivan likes to do the job right, and even stopped and repaired my garage wall, that was bowing out 4", because he said it would have made the new siding look bad.

Raised the roof up several feet to create better pitch, new plywood and shingles. Replaced a window in the process. Completed work in between snow storms in March. Out of a dozen estimates Ivan was the only one to suggest to raise the roof up. All the others wanted to simply re-arrange the current build without changing the pitch. Given the considerable extra work/materials, his quote was also one of the lowest.

Very quick to return calls and were honest about their availability during busy season. Instead of leaving it at a goodbye, Ivan referred me to a sub-contractor/partner of his who would likely be able to turn the project around quicker. Ended up going with someone else, but the fact I was referred to someone the provider trusted felt good.

Ivan and his team were highly professional. My bathroom looks fantastic - far beyond my discriminating expectations! My house was rather uncooperative as it is 140 years old and nothing is plumb / level - so the job ended up being much more complex than Ivan had anticipated. Nonetheless, he stood by his quote and did not make any excuses even though the job took the team an additional three days (and reasonably so). There was no compromise to quality and he was very honest about any reasonable limitations due to the condition of my home. I would highly recommend this company! I have already recommended to many friends and family members. Will be having them back to do additional work!

The deck came out beautiful! Ivan and his crew were very professional and polite and they are clearly experts at what they do. He was able to make adjustments on our plans and come up with a design that truly fit our needs. Their prices are in line with what other companies charge for quality materials and workmanship and Ivan honestly wants to make sure his customers are satisfied. We cant wait to start enjoying our deck again!

The work that was done exceeded our expectations. Everything turned out great and was completed on schedule. Ivan was great to work with, communicated daily on what was being done, any changes or recommendations on what we had planned were accomplished on schedule. We will definitely use Napora again when we remodel our upstairs. Highly recommended

The work that was done by Napora contracting went beyond my expectations. They started and finished on time and did it all for a fair price. Ivan napora was working with his crew every day making sure everything was done right. Friends ,who are more knowledgeable then I about the building trade,have all commented on the excellent work that was done. Its refreshing to know that there is a contractor with knowledge and integrity to do the job right. I highly recommend Napora contracting for all your home improvement needs.

It sounded as if this company doesn't do small jobs, but I had other larger projects to be done later on. The timeline for doing the project was pretty tight, too, and Napora was booked out into January.

I called for an estimate and the owner came to my house the same day to see what we needed done. By the end of the week, he had an estimate for me and had complete most of the work. I'm sure it was peak season for him, but because it was a relatively small job, he was willing to work me in around other projects by coming before and after his other work for the day. The work was done quickly and with a high degree of professionalism and craftsmanship. The owner of the company was onsite for the whole job and did the finishing work himself. He was terrific to work with: punctual, polite, and always concerned with doing top-notch work. I have a long list of future home improvement projects I'd like to pursue, and anything I can't do myself, I will certainly call Ivan Napora!
