Description of Work: Late one night, well after midnight, I detected a small whiff of gas coming out of my furnace. I immediately called Lang and they sent a man over right away and diagnosed the problem: a gas valve/seal was stuck leaking gas. Very dangerous. Although he did not regularly carry York furnace parts, he found a part that fit and corrected the situation. Without his expertise would have been without a furnace for days. I will now always use Lang.

Description of Work: Removed oil furnace and installed 2 stage variable speed propane furnace. Installed new propane piping to furnace and kitchen stove. Modified ducts and installe PVC vent and air supply pipes. All was done in one day with no mess. They arrived on time and came back the following day to make sure everything was working correctly. The price was more than $1000 less then my other bids.

 + -1 moreThe crew showed up right on schedule and the work went smoothly. The quality of workmanship is evident in every detail. I met the crew after the installation and they were very helpful with instructions. I have even called with follow-up questions and the staff has been most helpful. The new boiler is working wonderfully.
Description of Work: Existing boiler had a leak in the water jacket and would no longer build steam pressure throughout the system. Lang Heating removed the defective boiler and replaced it with a new Peerless boiler. Replaced all controls and installed a new programmable thermostat.

About a week later, we discovered that there was a defective electronic component that made the boiler shut down, and the company came out, identified the problem and ordered it and quickly replaced it. They also explained everything they did and made some suggestions about our system that were helpful.
Description of Work: We had a new boiler installed for our hot water baseboard heating system.

Description of Work: Lang came and repaired a noisy fan in the air conditioning unit. I didn't have to pay anything because the repair was qualified under the warranty.

 + -1 moreThey were out to service our problem within an hour and a half and the people that come out are always very professional. We have been using them for better than 15 years and never encountered any problems with them. They also come out once per year and service our heating and air system.
Description of Work: Lang repaired our furnace when our ignition went out. They replaced the part and were done in less than an hour.

 + -1 moreThe technician performed a full assessment of the problem. He found out that the starter needed to be replaced. He had the new starter in the truck and quickly installed the new one. He also performed a full system clean up and handed out sheet with information on how to properly maintain and run the system.
Description of Work: The A/C unit stopped working on a weekend. I contacted Lang Heating on Monday evening and they informed they would call me next day (they offered same evening service but I thought it wasn't an emergency.) They promptly called and we scheduled a visit for next day. They even offered to contact me when the technician was on his way! (Which they did.)

He showed up within appointment window, asked if we were having any problems with the furnace, checked humidifier media (I suspect to see if he could sell me one) and then attended to the furnace. Briefed me about results when he was done, nothing exceptional noted.
Description of Work: Cleaned and checked safety and operation of a gas hot air furnace. No parts replaced.
