The move went very smoothly from beginning to end. I had contacted several other companies before I found Lake Country / Seneca through a friend's recommendation. I was getting frustrated because the other companies were very restrictive of the dates I could choose and / or pretty expensive. I communicated with Shari, both by email and by phone, to arrange the move, and she was able to answer all my questions and address concerns promptly and in a professional manner. She set up a date that fit into my plans without any difficulties, and the movers came when they were expected. The moving team was superb. Lorenzo was the guy in charge for both the pickup and the unloading. They handled my furniture carefully, for which I was very glad, since I have some antiques. There were a few items that had been difficult to get into my small, second-floor apartment in Cambridge, but the guys were able to get them out without much trouble and nothing was damaged. They really knew what they were doing, unlike some movers I've used in the past. Lorenzo was professional and efficient with the paperwork. They picked up my furniture on a Saturday and were able to deliver it to my new home on Monday morning. (Other companies I spoke with were suggesting they needed a week or more between pickup and drop off.) They were happy to put everything where it needed to go, and the guys asked several times to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Again, they handled all my belongings with the utmost care. I couldn't have been happier with the service, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone.

The movers worked quickly and packed us up in a timely manner. They chose to take the lunch, I had prepared for them, on the road rather than taking the time to consume it at the first home. They did enjoy the cold beverages/ cookies we provided for them. We moved into a cul-de-sac and the driver easily backed the moving van down into the cul-de-sac rather than trying to maneuver the turn. Our freezer was dropped and dented as it was being carried into the basement and an antique mirror was broken. The man in charge said we would be contacted the following day by the company regarding the damage. We did not receive a call from them and made 2 calls before we received a claim form to file. We did agree on a monetary settlement that we felt was fair. I would recommend the company to anyone needing a moving company.

These guys were very proffessional and did a great job loading and unloading our furniture. Not a scratch on anything! The only negative was that they were not available to move us in on the day we closed because they had a prior commitment that needed most of their crew. So, we camped out on the floor of our new place for a couple of days until they could unload. Other than that they were great, and at a very good price.

They were very adequate. I really don't have any complaints at all. They were very friendly, punctual, and informative. They were good with all our household goods with no damages. I would use them again and recommend them.

We were looking for a company to move the entire house hold from Connecticut to Ohio. They came on time and they were very professional. They explained services and things they could do to help me out. They had some creative solutions.

Great. They were on time and fast. No damage. The estimate was right on. An evaluator came to our house to make the estimate. The movers were careful and even packed up the clothes in our closets for us. Highly recommend.
