Horrible work, they got cement on the house and on some bricks. As for the cracks all they did was make a mess with clear silicone all over the driveway without cleaning out the cracks first. Came back to “fix” things after complaining, saw no difference other than leaving a tube of silicone and a box cutter with the blade exposed left in the street and for some reason they put silicone on the wood on our house.

They responded quickly for a detailed quote and fit me in the schedule early. They repaired the primary problems and fixed other minor problems that they found without charging extra. Got the job done in a day.

Responded and received an estimate quickly. Very professional and the price was reasonable. Would definitely hire again.

Came to look at the job and said I would receive an estimate via email within a day, never received. I followed up with an email for the status, never record a reply. Would be nice if they could say they weren’t interested in the job instead of being ignored. Supposedly top Rated.

VERY badly. been back 5 times and I paid over 3000$ .... still not able to burn a fire. They keep saying be patient ,but I realy do not feel they know anything about what they are doing . This is becoming very irritating as it is concerning fire and the safety of my house. Tey left my chimney a mess of sloppy mortar and my house a mess of soot every time.

The work was done very very quickly and professionally. They identified and fixed problems with two aging chimneys and tried to keep the costs down without sacrificing quality. They repaired the brick facade on our garage and it looks great. They used the existing brick where possible so they avoided problems with matching some very old bricks. 6

They filled it in and removed the doors and broke up concrete slabs that had been laid, but they were not removed properly and my dog got hurt. I asked them to break up and remove the rest to get them off the property but after removing the smaller pieces they just laid the soil ON TOP of the larger pieces of concrete. Now I can't do anything in that space because the soil is not deep enough to lay pavers, have a garden or even plant grass. The boss never talked to me. I had to always talk to someone else. I will be working with someone else to have this problem fixed.

Went very well, however would have had them replace more of the chipped bricks. The large chipped obvious ones were replaced, but if the chip was small it was not done. Will have them back to do some more masonry work and have them replace more. George, who estimated the job was the only person to get up on the roof and look at the chimney. All others stood on the ground to give an estimate. George was fair and accurate and gave a very fair estimate. Others wanted to tear down to roof and replace and one wanted to replace the whole chimney. Had 5 estimates and really appreciated the honesty and integrity of Bill Miles company.

The job was completed as scheduled and the company was a pleasure to work with.

This was a big job and they started it at the agreed upon time and finished in about two weeks. Everything went very smoothly. They were very responsive, easy to deal with, the workers were professional and did good work, explaining what they were doing whenever I inquired. I would recommend them highly.

The company partner showed up with a full crew and walked them through the job. Said he'd be back a few times during the day, but he never came back. Altho I was at home, when the crew was done with the work they packed up and left w/o letting me know or allowing me to review the job. After they were gone I realized they must have mistakenly taken a work light I loaned to the crew while they worked in the dark basement. I called the partner, let him know, and asked him to locate or replace the light. I never heard back from him or anyone else. In sum, the work they did was fine, but the communication and professionalism (beyond the work itself) were not acceptable.

It was overall great, we lost a couple of days due to weather.

Had George out 4 hours after I entered the request for a phone call. He checked out my chimney lining and took the time to teach me what he was looking at and thoroughly explain what work needs to be done and what kind of time frame it needs to be done in. He was a gem and the second we are ready to proceed with the project, he will be getting our call!

The reason I gave this company a C was because they used a grinder to remove the paint and this grinding made a lot of grooves in the brick.

After four other contractors promised to show and never did over 4 years, I had almost given up. But a tumble down the crumbly stairs renewed my quest. AL rec'd Bill Miles and I called them that day. Got a return call same day (Friday), met George on Monday evening for a look-see and quote, and they were at my home performing the work the next Tuesday. RELIABLE. They also sanded down my old iron railings and repainted.

The work went extremely well George Blanchard did the estimation and he was extremely knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. I have had many contractors who, perhaps due to being overwhelmed or being inconsistent, fail to respond, fail to call back - not George. He called when he said he would, arrived when he said he would. I wanted one or two changes in the proposal, they were completed and delivered overnight. He said he would have 6 men, and complete the work in one day. This is exactly what happened, on the day and hour I was told the work would start. The work has held up well, and I believe was very professionally completed. Also, they did a touch more than asked for. The work included relaying front brick steps. Rather than simply relay all of them, they replaced a number they felt were too damaged, with new. Yes, the cost of brick may not be huge, but still, whatever that cost is, there was no quibbling, no discussion. They had some from the chimney work on hand and to Bill MIles crew the work demanded that quantity of brick be replaced and they simply did.

Quick response to my email. He went over everything that needed to be done. Work was completed the next day. Also helped me with another issue my home had. This company is the best and my only regret is I didn't get additional business cards for friends. They even thanked me for letting them work on my house.

They did a good job. The guy who came to give me the estimate and discuss the work really seem to understand the problem and how to address it so I was very pleased with that I thought that he had a better understanding of how to address the problem and somebody else who came then gave me an estimate. It was a pleasure to work with them. At least the person who represented the company knew what needed to be done and told the guys what to do and they pretty much did it so they might have been a little sloppy and messy about how they left things, I trying to remember I wasn't home, my grandson was home while they were working on it and. the bottom line is any more water has been coming through that spot I think they got it plugged well and I think that they put enough of water repellent over the area that whole section I had them do twenty feet of the basement wall just to protect it, they had to excavate down about five feet below grade to fine the spot and plug it. The problem with was that it came in a area under a staircase that was closed off so from the inside we could only see water had come in and soaked the floor and the wall but we couldn't see the area of the wall where it had actually come through because it was hidden by a staircase that was enclosed under the garage so it was hard to find this I think they did a good job and I would probably hire them again.

It went very well. He was professional, easy to work with and even let my father in law watch him work (out of interest, not hyper-supervision). I would hire him again for a masonry job any time.

Great, George gave me a reasonable offer to remove falling bricks from chimney and resurfaced it with mesh and concrete. Looks great and was much more affordable than tearing down the chimney and rebuilding with brick. He gave me an affordable option that looks great and will hopefully be around for many years to come. The crew arrived exactly on time, and got all work done in a few hours. Very happy with the outcome. Joanne
