Description of Work: My experience with Premier Fence has been one of the worst business transactions to date. Brian came to my home and built me a gate. I then contracted him to fix another gate for $750. I gave Brian a $150 deposit with a receipt and he NEVER CAME BACK... I called him several times and when he finally did pick up his phone hesaid and I quoe " take me to small claims court" - you are not getting the money back and I am not fixing your gate. DO NOT use Premier Fence for any transaction. There are several options in the Hudson Valley for your fencing needs!

I charged Mr. [Member Name Removed] $150.00 to make a walk gate out of a cheap home depot fence he installed himself. Everything was out of plumb but we leveled the components and installed a new post added a latch and hinges and got it to work. The work was worth more than $150.00. He noticed the professional work and had asked me to look at a double gate that was completely out of wack. He asked me for a price to install a new one from scratch out of the same material. very light pressure treated lumber that needs to be installed as soon as you get it or it warps like a pretzel. i gave him a price of $850.00 and asked for half deposit. He went to the bank in Goshen and came out with $300.00 that included being paid for the work we did that day. That means he gave me $150.00 for the deposit I wanted $425.00 for. I should have given it back but shrugged it off. He told me he would call me in a couple of weeks for the installation. I went out and bought bolts,lags, posts, two sets of hinges, drop rods, gate latches, 8- 2x3 x8' for gate braces and the cheap yellow pine sections to make the gates out of. We did the original gate install in April. He didn't call me till late May. the sections were pretzels ! I had a schedule in May and didnt hear from him in two months. I got screwed buying the material and had to buy more sections and material to make it work. I told him I was not interested and lost money because of his indiscretion and planning. I eventually sent him back his $150.00 and he posted this lie! Mr [Member Name Removed] was referred to me by Steves Deli owner in Goshen. Steve told me he catered a job for him. Mr. [Member Name Removed] told him to prepare food enough for 40 people. A lot less people showed up! Mr. [Member Name Removed] brought back the left over food to the Deli !!!
