I called Don out to fix one of my garage doors which would open but would not close. He was very punctual, he even arrived 10 minutes early! He quickly diagnosed the problem with my garage door and fixed the problem within 5 minutes. (the motion detector alignment was off). He then went on to do an inspection of my garage doors and recommended to change out the dated rollers on both doors, which I had him do. He also lubed all the working parts on both garage doors. Now both gargage doors are much more quiet and are working properly! Don was very professional and friendly. I would certainly use him again.

Always Reliable was great! Don Nusio responded to my initial call within minutes, showed up on time for our appointment and did a wonderful job getting my garage door in perfect working order. He was very knowledgable as well - and able to recommend the best solution for my door at a good price. He even made another minor home repair while he was there. Great service! Had another company out the week earlier to repair my garage door, paid that guy over $200 for what turned out to be completely ineffective service. Then we found Always Reliable on Angie's List, and the next morning they were at the house. Got the garage door fixed for good (for less money than the first guy charged) and he even helped me program the garage door keypad that I didn't even think worked! I don't think anyone who gives you a multiple-hour window gets an "A" for Punctuality, though I recall that he did show up in the window. But I'd definitely call these guys for any garage door repair or replacement work.

The garage door spring that allows the garage door to open snapped from the garage wall mounting, on a Friday night. When I called on Saturday morning, the original installer told me I would have to wait until the following week for the repairs. We could not wait, so I searched Angie's list and found Always Reliable. What a perfect name for this company. I immediately called and Don came that Saturday afternoon. He went above and beyond. Once he was able to get the garage door open, we needed to move the car out so that he could go to work. Well, when it rains it poors... the car in the garage would not start. Don jump started the car so we could move it out. Then he looked at the original installation and re-aligned the garage door railing so that it was now balance, repaired the springs, greased the track on the garage door opener (never done by the original installer), and replaced the track wheels on the door. He also installed a safety line on each spring (something that was missing). With everything repaired he confirmed what we suspected; the original springs were not strong enough to open the garage door properly. He returned two days later (when my husband was off from work) to replace the springs with stronger ones. He arrived promptly when he said he would. Don, performed wonderful service! He was efficient and kept us informed at every step. The garage door now works like a charm, and it is so quiet! I never realized how bad the original installation was until it was repaired. I now have a functioning automatic garage door, that is properly installed, it is quiet and has the proper safety measures installed in case a spring should ever snap again. Don was great and I would use him again. Unfortunately, I only have one garage door and he repaired it! :-)

Don, owner/operator was the first to respond to my phone-call and e-mail requesting and estimate to replace one of two broken torsion springs on my 16' garage door. He answered my e-mail within two hours and then called to arrange a visual of the job later that afternoon between 5:30 and 6pm. He arrived at 5:30 took measurements, gave an estimate of replacing one spring for $230 or both for $270. I opted for replacing both. Don said that he would order the springs and could replace them in three days (Saturday). On Saturday at 9am he came and replaced both springs, adjusted and lubricated the door opener chain along with all the door rollers. He took the old rollers away and left a clean jobsite.

I thought they were a bit pricey but I wanted to get the job done. The initial contact was a bumpy, but I was pleased with work. He cleaned up well and left no mess. He answered all of my questions. The work was definitely worth it because I did not have to replace the entire garage door.

It was an emergency, couldn't get the car out of the garage. They told me how to open the door, came over in a couple of hours, completed really clean work and fixed an improper installation from the previous owners.
