My landscape architect recommended that I use Mid Hudson Fence for my upcoming fencing project. Frank - the owner - came out and measured and he seemed like a great guy - very knowledgeable and agreeable. But I have now been waiting seven weeks for a quote from him! I know there have been some supply issues related to covid-19 and the surge in demand for many fence materials, and I was trying to be patient and give Mid Hudson Fence the benefit of the doubt, since they came highly recommended and seemed like nice people. But they seem totally overwhelmed - difficult to contact and ultimately unhelpful. If certain materials are difficult to obtain, I would appreciate a call to say, "Well, we can't get you this, but we have black chain link in stock, and here is the price for that." Instead, I have heard nothing from them, and have wasted 7 weeks of my time. Other fence companies have been able to provide me with prices on the spot or in a matter of days. If Mid Hudson Fence has too much work or is too short staffed to handle my project, the responsible thing to do is to say so, rather than just jerk me around. I really expected more professional treatment from a company that my landscape architect regularly recommends. Had hoped to work with them, but I am beyond frustrated at this point.

Provided balanced and useful information during estimate, as well as promptly responding to follow-up questions. Work was scheduled promptly and crew showed up on time (and kept working despite lousy weather). Just under 400ft of fence with two gates installed in about 3 and a half days. We're very happy with the finished product.

We are very happy with the work done. They went over and beyond what was required to complete the job. There were some spots in our yard that were too small to put a fence, but yet large enough for the dog to get out. Without our asking, screening was installed in those areas, and they even repaired a piece of the wood fence which had a hole in it! We would definitely hire again, and recommend them without reservation.

Workers were skilled, responsive to our concerns and polite.

Of the estimates we obtained they were the most expensive but the estimate was the most detailed in regard to materials and work performed and John was very professional. Ultimately we convinced ourselves that the price reflected the quality of workmanship and were not disappointed with the outcome The cedar posts are set an honest 3ft, the fencing is buried a good 6-12 inches below grade, and the gates have great detailing. We couldn't be happier with our new fence.

Mid-Hudson Fence did a great job on our backyard fence in Beacon, NY. The yard is not big but is on a slope. Very professional all the way around. It was their busy time, so we had to wait a little longer than we would have liked for installation, but they showed up right on time on the scheduled date and we are very happy with the results. Great quality. Love watching the dog run around off-leash in her safe, fenced in yard. Would definitely recommend.

Was the day after Memorial Day and it was a hot also. When Mike and Elvis showed up at the promise time and started to work right away. Hour later when they were done and cover in sweat, they were still professional and courteous. Will use Mid Hudson again.

We wanted to have vinyl fencing/rail installed around our front porch. Requested estimate on 5/12/11. Sales Rep was here the next day and we had our estimate by 5/16/11. The Sales Rep was very friendly, knowledgable and knew exactly what we were looking for. A true professional. It wasn't our highest estimate received, nor the lowest. The quality of the work was outstanding. The installers were friendly and worked very efficiently. Cleaned up everything. The project only took a few hours, but looks like a million bucks. Truly. I would highly recommend Mid-Hudson Fence Co. Fencing is what they do and do it very well! Without a doubt , one of the best Sales Reps and the best contractor we've ever experienced.
