Ken responded quickly with a fair estimate. Everything was done as agreed, plus Ken "threw in" and hooked-up a utility GFI receptacle. I was very pleased with the work and plan to use KWD for an extension to the house.

I used KWD Electric 2 times in the recent past and was planning to write a review after the 3rd and final visit to my mother's house. The first to jobs went well, one "simple" (replacing 6 outlets) and one "complex" upgrading the service panel plus a couple other items. Ken was late both times and his responsiveness to my initial contact took a little too long but I overlooked that. The 3rd visit he was to replace all switches and outlets in the kitchen (after the renovation). On July 30th Ken's email stated a quote would follow in a day or two. It is now August 26th and I am still waiting. Needless to say this is very rude and extremely unprofessional. Update: Ken did apologize for forgetting and stated he would not take on more than he could schedule. 9-4-2013 Update: Thank you Ken for the offer of a few free hours of labor. I may consider this the next time I need some electrical work done.

Overall experience was very satisfying. He knows what he is doing. He is clean and professional. I would highly recommend him.

Ken came promptly after we called for an estimate. He emailed the estimate within 24 hours as he said he would. Price was great, service was great. He was extremely prompt and professional. Great communication, answered all questions and gave tips we hadn't thought of. He came when he said he would, and did a fantastic job putting recessed lights in our living room and a fan light in the bathroom. He did a quality job at very good price. Cleaned up afterward. Very efficient, courteous, prompt all for a great price. It was a pleasure to do business with Ken and I highly recommend him to others.

Ken was outstanding from the first phone call . He explained my different options that I had to have the generator run boiler ,refrigerator , well pump etc..... He went out of his way to meet me at a time that was convenient for me since my work schedule was hectic . He told me the parts would come in and he would give me a call and we can set up a time for him to install it and within the time he told me it would take to receive the parts . He called exactly when he said he would and set up a time later that week. Was on time for the appointment and had the job completed within a few hours . He was very neat and cleaned up I didn't even know he was there. I will absolutely use again

We were very happy with KWD Electric Inc's service. He was personable, prompt and very efficient. He was knowledgeable of everything he was going to do. If he had any questions about anything he brought it to our attention, he didn't just go ahead and do what he thought he should do. He came and got us and made sure we were happy with what he was going to do. His price seemed reasonable to me. I would definitely recommend him to someone else.

We are new to Angie's List and the timing was right. We had an emergency - and it was the Friday before the Columbus Day weekend. Wiring had to be re-done to 4 apartments. We decided to call Ken at KWD Electric. We support our local bussinesses and KWD is right here in Beacon. Ken was a pleasure to talk to. We described the emergency and asked if he could come take a look. Ken called us back quickly and said he would meet us today. He was prompt and professional. There was much work involved to repair the major damage and outage that affected these four apartments. Ken said he'd start immediately - clearing his schedule. He and his team worked deligently all day and got the job done. He kept us informed during the process. We highly recommend KWD Electric to anyone. What a pleasure to work with Ken. Prices were reasonable and they are professional, highly skilled, courteous people who provided prompt service. They not only fixed the problem but went one step further and fixed it to prevent future problems. Thank you Ken. Outstanding job.

Kenny and Chris arrived on the scheduled date and time. They were very cautious of our home and its surroundings. The work was completed in one day as promised. The job was left in spotless condition. Not only were we thrilled with the experience, the Plumbing and heating tech complemented the workmanship.

The electrician installed a bathroom fan and replaced the batteries in my smoke detectors which are located on very high ceilings.

The work was top notch, zero complaints. Ken performed the work and helped troubleshoot why the A/C wouldn't turn on once connected.

During a October snow storm tree limbs had fallen on our power lines pulling them away from the house & leaving them hanging dangerously low. I received a prompt return call to arrange for Ken to inspect the damage and estimate repair costs. He showed up when scheduled , estimated what was required to repair it and completed the repair that day. I am very happy with the repair and appreciative that he told me what was needed to make the repair and not the up sells as others did. I would highly recommend KWD from first contact to completing the job, professional, prompt & a good price- will use again whenever needed.

Ken came in and gave me an estimate on a Monday, with a tentative installation day at the end of that week. He called Wednesday and said they could be there the next morning. They arrived promptly, did the work to my satisfaction, cleaned up after themselves, and were gone by noon or so. Very satisfied with the outcome.

I was soooo tired of blowing circuits with all the extra holiday usage. I called thinking at least I could set it up for early in the new year and be good for Next Christmas. What a nice surprise when he said they could fit me in before Christmas. I was able to make coffee while the kids played with the trains! Of course, I will miss all the extra exercise running up and down the cellar stairs to reset breakers - not! Ken and Co. were professional, cleaned up after themselves, did everything I asked for and charged reasonably. I liked that they did not hard sell things I did not need, but gave me everything I asked for. Definitely recommended!

Arrived on time, cut power, disconnected old very mangeled wires, removed outside meter box and inside breaker panel. Installed new plywood and new breaker box on that. Ran new feed wire from service lines, new exterior grounding rods and new interior grounding cable to water service. Very professional, very neat work. It took most of the day, but they did it right. They were able to provide me power for my computer while they worked which was nice. They added a GFCI 110 outlet just below the breaker box, and a whole house surge protector which was nice. I got bids from 3 contractors, and KWD was tied for the cheapest.
